Chapter 3 – Fusing World Seeds

Boom! Boom! Boom! A rapidly spiraling world seed that possessed the Law of Fire smashed into a world seed that possessed the Law of Water.

The Law of Fire and the Law of Water collided, both of the Laws disassembling and then merging. The two sides continuously merged, dissembled, merged, dissembled…. It was like they were trying to find the precise point of convergence, so they could create a world seed that possessed both laws.

But, since the world seed that possessed the Law of Water was several times larger than the world seed that possessed the Law of Fire, the Law of Water contained in the world seed was naturally several times stronger.

Fire and water don’t mix. The Law of Fire was engulfed by the seemingly inexhaustible Law of Water and was gradually broken down, dissipating. At the same time, the Law of Water’s power decreased significantly…

Mu Yuan watched this scene. He muttered to himself, “Yin, Yang and the Five Laws restrain and support each other, creating a sense of harmony. At this time, a thought suddenly jolted through Mu Yuan. He glued his gaze to the immense world seed in the center of the vortex. 

A dense cluster of world seeds blocked his gaze. He could now only see little traces of the immense world seed.

“This feeling…, it appears there’s something attracting me to the center of the vortex. I feel like it’s going to benefit me greatly!”

After pondering for a while, Mu Yuan smiled. “Forget it, now let’s first absorb the Law of Metal. As the feeling originated in the center of the vortex, it’ll always be there.”

Mu Yuan controlled the Yuan World to carefully approach the edge of the vortex. He felt the immense gravitational force trying to suck in the Yuan World. This was the gravitational force that was generated by the world seeds of the vortex!

Although the pulling force was immense, it could be easily resisted by the Yuan World. Mu Yuan meticulously inspected the rotating world seeds. Currently, there was a world seed around a couple of kilometers in diameter that possessed the Law of Metal. It was about to pass in front of the Yuan World.

Mu Yuan fiercely released the suppression force of the Yuan World. A gravitational force that was no weaker than the vortex burst out.

Boom! The world seed, which contained the Law of Metal, abruptly halted, struggled against the vortex’s gravitational force, and then escaped the vortex’s pull. It began to accelerate towards the Yuan World!

Just as the accelerating world seed was about to collide with the Yuan World, Mu Yuan controlled the crystal sphere to produce a crack. The accelerating world seed was swallowed.

Like a plummeting meteor, the world seed rammed into the land and the surrounding volcanoes. The force shook the center of the Yuan world, triggering the volcanoes to erupt.

Mu Yuan warped. In a thought, he suppressed the rumbling ground and calmed the explosive torrent of magma.

“So this is the Law of Metal. It’s so little.” Mu Yuan sighed with emotion. The recently obtained Law of Metal was not even a thousandth of the Yuan World’s Law of Fire and Law of Earth. 

“Forget it, mosquito meat is still meat. Let’s first absorb and comprehend it.” Afterward, Mu Yuan concentrated on devouring the fresh world seed. He carefully controlled his world’s laws, so they didn’t crush the Law of Metal. The Law of Metal slowly integrated into the laws of the Yuan World.

After several years, Mu Yuan opened his eyes. A ray of light flashed in his eyes. The flash contained a hint of sharpness.

A sharp golden light appeared between the sky and the earth, piercing the sky and wreaking havoc across the sky and earth.

Mu Yuan made a move. Instantly, thousands of golden metal rays gathered into a long sword and fiercely slashed down.

Sand and rocks flew into the air. A long, deep ravine extended across the ground, appearing to tear the world apart. However, in a blink of an eye, it was smothered by lava, disappearing. 

Mu Yuan sighed with satisfaction. “It truly deserves to be called the Law of Metal. To think that even just a thread of the Law of Metal was so powerful.”

If the Law of Metal grew to the same level as the Law of Fire, then an earth-shaking power would burst forth!

In addition, Mu Yuan could clearly feel that after the Yuan World completely swallowed the Law of Metal, the entire continent became more stable and the crystal sphere strengthened. It was able to resist the void essence more easily. 

Thinking of this, Mu Yuan glanced at the vortex with eyes full of fire, which burned with desire. “I shall continue to devour world seeds and make the Yuan World a Minor World as soon as possible. Then, I no longer have to feel the apprehension of this world being obliterated by the rabid streams of void essences.

Mu Yuan had continued to suck in world seeds that possessed the Law of Metal into the Yuan World, comprehending, fusing, and strengthening the Law of Metal.

After an unknown period of time, Mu Yuan looked at the Yuan World, which had increased in size and strength by several times. With a face full of glee, Mu Yuan said, “The Law of Fire, the Law of Earth, and the Law of Metal are now similar in power. Everything is now balanced. It’s time to absorb the Yin and Yang and the other Five Laws.”

Currently, the size of the current vortex has already shrunk significantly. While the world seed in the center had grown a lot, it was incomparable to the Yuan World’s growth.

After all, the world seed in the center of the vortex lacked a Heavenly Dao like Mu Yuan to carefully suck in world seeds and passionately promote the harmonization between the laws.

When world seeds were colliding, their laws would merge and disassemble each other. Consequently, their volume would shrink and the void essence would grind the leftover residue from the collision. 

The Yuan World was at the side of the vortex, exerting an intense suction force, competing with the world seed in the center of the vortex for control over the other world seeds. The Yuan world was plundering the power of the laws!

The vortex had begun to diverge into two parts. The Yuan World and the world seed in the center of the vortex were like a binary star system. They were both ravenously devouring the surrounding matter, energy, and laws.

However, the Yuan World was different. Under the control of Mu Yuan, the Yuan World was picky with what it swallowed. It chose only the appropriate world seeds to fuse and swallow, unlike the world seed in the middle of the vortex, which crudely swallowed whatever. This allowed the Yuan world to devour world seeds at a far faster rate…

A century, then a millennia, then ten millennia passed by. Finally, only two world seeds about the size of a thousand miles in diameter were left in this void space, and the rest of the world seeds were swallowed up as food!

Splendid rainbow light pierced through the sky from time to time and reflected throughout the sky, producing a mystical scene. The Yuan World’s laws were on full display.

The once hell-like world seed had undergone earth-shaking changes. The magma had cooled into volcanic rocks, and metal veins were scattered throughout the depths of the world. Water droplets appeared between the sky and the earth. The world had become extremely stable.

An illusory figure gradually appeared in the sky, and a faint voice echoed throughout the world. “Now that the Yuan World possesses the Yin, Yang, and the Five Laws, it can already begin its evolution.”

But, this wasn’t the end. If the Yuan World devoured its last competitor, the vortex world seed, and merged with it, the success of evolving into a Minor World would increase. 

More importantly, once the vortex world seed was merged with and the Yuan World evolved to become a Minor World, the Yuan World’s potential would be unmatched when compared to Minor Worlds at the same level. 

Currently, the Yuan World and the vortex world seed were both on the verge of becoming a Minor World. However, the Yuan World could be promoted at any time while the vortex world seed needed to slowly produce its Heavenly Dao’s consciousness.

 The vortex world seed was gathering its energy and about to give birth to its Heavenly Dao’s consciousness. It was going to become a Minor world, completing the last step.

The Yuan World could swallow the whirlpool world without much effort. I’ll take my time to swallow the newly born Heavenly Dao consciousness!

Thinking of this, Mu Yuan no longer hesitated and controlled the Yuan World so that it would collide into the vortex world seed.

Boom!

Colossal cracks appeared between the two world’s crystal spheres. In a blink of an eye, the crystal spheres began to mend themselves.  

Mu Yuan looked at the biggest crack on the crystal sphere and immediately mobilized the world’s Origin Energy to prevent the other world from repairing, expanding the gap in the sphere. The power of the Yuan World’s laws began eroding the vortex world seed!

Zing, zing, boom! Although the vortex world did not produce a Heavenly Dao, it instinctually felt an ominous presence and fiercely rejected the Yuan World’s entrance.

Boom! The crystal spheres that were in contact with each other shattered and began merging into each other. The laws of both worlds darted and crashed into each other, creating a brilliant display of light. For a moment, it looked like a stalemate. 

However, the Yuan World’s endless supply of Origin Energy withered away the vortex world seed’s laws.

Suddenly, a familiar jolt rang through Mu Yuan’s heart. Scrunching up his eyebrows, Mu Yuan said, “This feeling has come again. What is it exactly?”  It appeared that there was something in the core of the vortex world seed that had an extremely strong luring force. Mu Yuan wanted it.

In the time of consuming the seeds of the fusion world, this feeling had appeared numerous times and it got stronger and stronger. The desire this time was at its peak!

It’s almost impossible to suppress this inner desire. I must pursue that thing!

Mu Yuan muttered to himself, “No matter what it is, when I swallow the vortex world seed, it’ll all be mine.”
