The trembling ground could only mean a few things.

Either there was a weak earthquake happening, or there was something coming towards Arthur and Brambles.

And soon enough, a loud cry could also be heard, which confirmed Arthur's guess.

"Here comes the Hammer Head Ox." Arthur gripped Dietetic and raised it above his head. "Brambles, you'll have to block them. Let's see whose horns are stronger!" he spurred on the beetle.

"KRIIIIIII!" Brambles was up for the challenge, especially when it came to horns.

Info: A bovine beast that is known to have thick and large horns. It uses this horn to fight against other male Hammer Head Oxes. The male with the larger and tougher horn usually wins and is able to win the affection of the females. During their breeding season, they are known to cause chaos, as the battles between two Hammer Head Oxes can cause a lot of damage to the surroundings.

They are also hot headed, and will attack any other creature that stumbles in during their fight. Hammer Head Oxes can become a great nuisance as they destroy roads and paths causing them to be designated as a beast to be killed on sight.

Info: The user swings its hammer like horns, dealing damage to multiple foes around it.

Cooldown: 30 seconds

Cost: 10% MP with every use.

Arthur looked at the data of the beast which was basically a rampaging tank. 

Hammer Head Oxes were tough, and players needed a tank to be able to take them down in a head-on fight. If not, they needed strong and accurate ranged damage dealers. Otherwise, it could become fatal to the ones trying to hunt them. Plus, they were rare ranked, which meant that they had higher stats than other enemies of the same level.

'Its level is also high, no wonder the bounty had a warning with it.' Arthur thought to himself. "Though with Brambles, it doesn't matter. I don't think it can hurt him that easily." He muttered and got ready to attack.

"RIIII!" Brambles knew what he had to do, and used one of his skills.

The notifications popped up, showing that Brambles couldn't move. But that didn't matter, as that was exactly what they needed right now.

The Hammer Head Ox ran across the Spindle Hills, leaving marks on the ground with its hooves. Whatever stones and pebbles that came under its hooves were crushed into dust. One could only imagine what would happen if it hit someone with its horns.

The Hammer Head Ox looked like a bigger than normal bull and had unique horns. Instead of having pointed horns that were curved, it had thick and broad horns. These didn't have points, and instead ended in a slight curve that flattened. This made them look like hammers.

These were strong enough to crush bones and rock alike.

"MOO!" the Hammer Head Ox soon spotted Brambles who was in the distance.

The two beasts gazed into each other's eyes, instantly developing an intense rivalry.

"KIIIIIII!" Brambles let out an intimidating cry and pointed its horn at the incoming beast.

The Hammer Head Ox did the same and continued to charge towards Brambles. Its speed increased, and Arthur could see the effects of a skill being activated.

'So it's using the Wild Charge Skill too.' Arthur noted while keeping an eye on the beast.

He was ready to hit its weakness as soon as he got the right chance.

The Hammer Head Ox reached Brambles' position in a few more seconds, and finally, they collided.

~BANG~

A loud sound was heard as the horns of the two beasts collided.

A dust cloud emerged from the collision of the two beast horns. 

"MOO!!" The Hammer Head Ox had not expected that it would be stopped in its tracks.

"KIRIIIIII!" Brambles felt excited as he had managed to stop the beast in its tracks.

Overall, Brambles was heavier than the Hammer Head Ox and also had his skill and high defenses to back him up. As such, the beast had managed to stand his ground. Even his horn was undamaged and could hold the hammer head beast back.

Still, it wasn't just Brambles who hadn't been damaged. The Hammer Head Ox was the same.

"Not for long!" Arthur stepped onto Brambles' back and leaped onto the Hammer Head Ox. "Lock!" while in the air, he used the skill of Dietrich.

Even if Arthur's stats were higher than before and he still wished to weaken the beast as much as possible to deal maximum damage. 

"Vitality and Toughness, perfect!" Arthur laughed.

Both of the stats determined how long an enemy would be able to last against his attack and as such, they were perfect to fall.

"SKEWER!" Arthur finally used his most powerful skill.

"MOO!" The Hammer Head Ox felt danger from Arthur and used his own skill. 

It swung its head, trying to hit Arthur with its horns.

The sudden movement of the beast caused the spear to miss the vital point and pierced through the side of the beast instead.
