Villain Ch 31. Did You Enjoy Your Date?

The loading screen flashed before Allen's eyes as he waited to be transported back to the Cursed Crypts' gate.

As the screen disappeared, he was back in the crypts, standing in front of the gate. It was a familiar sight, with a series of arcane symbols and esoteric runes that pulsed with dark energy. It never failed to leave him in awe.

But instead of Thera's greeting, another girl's voice came from behind him.

"Welcome back, Your Majesty," the female voice said, dripping with sarcasm. "Did you enjoy your date?"

Startled, Allen turned around to see who was addressing him. Selena, the witch, stood there with a sardonic smile on her face. Her player was Alice. Next to Selena stood Eira, the nine tails fox. Her player was Bella.

Eira's attire was a strange mixture of a qipao and something far more sensual. The deep cleavage on her dress was almost scandalous, and her curves were accentuated in a way that put her far away from the appearance of a real qipao. And yet, despite the provocative nature of her outfit, there was something undeniably alluring about her. Her blonde hair cascaded in soft waves around her face, and her eyes were a startling shade of red.

Lilieth stood behind both of them and looked at Allen shyly. Her blushing face was clear. On the other side of them stood Larissa, who seemed to have gone AFK.

He knew he should have told them that he and Larissa went to the Tower of Power, but the mention of "Your Majesty" by Alice had sparked something in him. He decided to play along.

"Yes, my dear wife," he said, extending his hand to Alice with a seductive smile. "I do enjoy every single second of my date with her. But if you're jealous..." He trailed off, his eyes locked on Alice's as if challenging her. "I also shall take you on a date," he said like a gentleman.

To his surprise, his words managed to elicit laughter from the group, including Vivian, who had been quiet up until now. Alice chuckled and shook her head. "That was so cheesy," she said.

"It was cringy as hell," added Bella, her tone laced with amusement.

Allen withdrew his hand and smiled at the group. His little act had gone over well, and he had managed to make them laugh despite the tense situation. He knew, however, that they were not here just to chat and joke around.

"Anyway, joke aside. You're from the Tower of Power, right?" Alice confirmed in curiosity. Her face turned serious, and he could sense the urgency in her voice.

"Yes," he replied, his tone matching hers.

"What did you find there? Does it fill high-level monsters?" Vivian asked curiously once again, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Do you want to go there? The three of you?" he confirmed. He knew that they were eager for adventure.

"Yes," Bella spoke up. Followed by her huff, her frustration evident in her tone. "We've been trying to hunt in the field, but the monsters are too weak and too little," she complained. A frown on her forehead.

Indeed there were dark slime monsters in the field near them. It was a level 5 monster and they weren't aggressive types. The Mandragora, on the other hand, was more of a challenge. It was a level 12 monster. But there were only a few of them.

"We only got 2 levels during almost 2 hours of hunting. It's very annoying," complained Alice. Her hands were on her waist and annoyance was on her face. Her impatience was clear from her expression.

"I wonder if the Tower of Power would be a better hunting ground for us," added Vivian with a huff. "Or can we get a better drop than here?" she added hopefully.

"The Tower of Power is indeed a better place for hunting," Allen said, his voice laced with confidence. "I managed to reach level 21 in just three hours, but you need to be careful. The monsters there are known to attack in groups, especially on the first floor. Make sure you have enough potions to last you the journey," he reminded them.

Alice, Bella and Vivian listened intently, eager to hear more about the dangers that lie ahead and what he had found in that place.

"Most of the monsters on the first floor are around level 10 to level 20," Allen continued. "But if you decide to venture to the second floor, you have to be even more cautious. The monsters there are much stronger, with levels ranging from 30 to 40. I also found a boss monster there."

"The Ghouls are quite easy to kill and give huge EXP," Allen added. "But they're also quite rare, so you have to keep your eyes peeled if you want to find one. And if you do decide to go to the second floor, make sure you stay close to the entry portal. You never know what kind of danger lies ahead," he closed his long explanation.

Alice's eyes sparkled with excitement as she considered the prospect of exploring the Tower of Power. "What about the drop items?" she asked eagerly, her voice barely contained with anticipation.

Allen hesitated, his expression faltering. "Uh...," he cringed, "Seriously, don't expect much from that," he admitted, his voice tinged with disappointment.

Alice's face fell, her hopes dashed by Allen's words. She had been hoping to uncover rare and valuable items in the tower, but now it seemed that she had to bury that hope.

Her disappointment was palpable as she took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I thought I'd find something even better than Slime Mucus there..." she murmured, her head dropping in dejection.

Allen could see the disappointment etched on Alice's face and knew he had to offer her something to lift her spirits. "I did get a better item than that," he admitted, a sly smile creeping onto his face.
