Vengeance To The Royal Ones

Chapter 432 - Epilogue 12: Brian & Leslie

A knock came to the door o her hotel room after they got back from the reception of Amber's wedding.

When she opened it.

"You seemed disappointed."

Alissa smiled as she saw Leslie's face the moment the door opened.

"What are you talking about?" Leslie turned back to enter the room.

"I heard from Amber," Alissa started as she too, entered the room closing the door behind her.

"At the same time, I witnessed it myself. Our two close IT world people seemed to be having problems," she grinned sitting down on the bed.

"Just as I asked, what are you suddenly talking about?" Leslie furrowed her brows, brushing off whatever it was that Alissa was talking about.

"I wonder what I am talking about myself," Alissa shrugged but she stared intently at Leslie.

"But you should know it best though, what I am asking you right now," she added bobbing her brows up and down.

Leslie sighed, it was very bvious that she has no escape from their eyes.

They may not always see each other rin person but the video calls they shared allowed them to become closer through time, to the point that they can have Amber's intuition regarding one another.

Alissa raised her brows urging her to speak what was going on.

About their lovers breaking up with one them because the two of them are so close.

They were told that thy care for each other more than they cared for their lovers.

And soon after the break ups, they actually ended up blaming one another for what had happened to them.

"And?" Alissa started after hearing the whole story."After months of what had happened, how do you feel now? Do you think your ex lovers were right? Or do you think they were wrong?" she asked.

Leslie had been thinking about the break up and about the fact that they were blaming one another.

But now that she was confronted of the question of whether she thinks that her ex was right or not, she was left speechless.

Alissa smiled, she can tell that Leslie haven't confronted this question yet that is why the two of them haven't mended their relationship yet.

"They love the oth of you genuinely, because if not, the wouldn't have let you go," she started pulling Leslie to sit beside her.

"They have decided to let you go of the both of you, before the two of you get too deep in to that relationship only to realize that you actually love someone else, instead of them."

She held Leslie's hand while looking straight in her eyes.

"You two, should really talk with one another, properly I mean. Sort everything out. Because from what I heard in your story? You miss him dearly.

She stood up, placed her hand on Leslie's shoulder, giving her a light squeeze, as if to encourage her more, before walking towards the door and leaving.

The moment she did, open the door, Brian was standing there ready to press the doorbell.

And was actually shock witless when the door suddenly opened.

"You are too at edge," Alissa laughed when she noticed this reaction.

She then looked back at Leslie, "Speaking of the devil,Why don't I go and leave the two of you to talk?"

She patted Brian on the shoulder before walking away from that place.

She came to check onn Leslie because Amber had asked her to.

Seriously it was her wending but she still has energy to look after the others.

It had now disappeared, because in the end, it was actually a love problem.

Brian and Leslie looked at one another after Alissa had left.

After a few seconds Brian cleared his throat.

"Do you want to do to the sea side?" he asked.

She nodded her head in agreement and the two of them walked to the sea side in silence.

"We have bee going on and on in circles, haven't we?" Brin asked after they had walked for a few minutes by the sea.

"I think so too, " she replied.

"Then... can we just stop?"

Brian stopped walking and faced her.

"Since we've been taking so much detours already, shall we get back to heading towards our destination now?" he asked seriously.

He pursed his lips and took a deep breath before continuing, "Tim was right, since I already have the answer with me. Why am I still hesitating? You are already in front of me, why am I still stopping myself?"

It was true that he was confused and angry when his ex broke up with him.

But as time goes by, he stopped being like that and started missing the times they were together instead.

Not the times with his ex but the times with Leslie.

Looking back, he truly was the happiest when with her.

Leslie understood from his words that just as Alissa checked on her, Timothy went to check on Brian as well.

"I am going to ask you now Leslie," he seriously tarted, staring straight in her eyes.

"I am playful, I forget so many things once I started working. And I know you have seen my worst already. So will you be willing to take this risk with me?"

He took hold of both her hands, "Will you take the risk of changing our relationship with the possibility of losing what we have if it didn't work out? Are you willing to take this step with me, to walk down this path with a different title tha being just best friends and workmates?"

The wind blew as he held her hands tighter.

"Are you willing? Because I am very much willing to do it. Now that I understand what I truly want, I don't want to let it go anymore. Now that I understand that my love for you is deeper than what I felt for Lily? I don't want to let you go anymore."

Leslie was teay eyed, she knew of all his antics but this was the very first time that she was seeing him this serious and romantic.

"With your declaration, do you think I could still refuse?"

She answered while holding back his hands.

"No," he replied with a grin while shaking his head.

Then he pulled her for a hug, before both of them started laughing at how silly they had actually been.

Leslie and Brian were both thinking about this memory as they stood on that same place in the present.

"Timothy actually passed a message from Amber back then," Brian said after remembering the confessions.

"Oh what is it?" she asked curious.

"If I remember correctly, it was... Everything was pointed out to you already. What are you still doing? Waiting for her to make the enext move? Man up and get her already," he chuckled after saying this.

"I got goosebumps actually. Was she watching whatever it is that we were doing, that she knew of our problem? Then I remembered something about her. She has a monstrous intuition."

Leslie nodded her head in agreement, "She Truly is something. Because if it wasn't for her then we wouldn't have met in the first place."

He smiled down at her, "Yes and I wouldn't be this happy right now."

They happily continued walking before Leslie remembered something, "What was that big game? Why is it a secret to a lot of people including me?"

"Oh," he smiled before taking out his phone.

He checked the time and seeing as the launching was about to start. He pulled her to the rocks where they can sit. The sun was about to set so the weather wasn't too hot.

She didn't get why they are watching it here when they could have returned to the hotel first. But went along and sat down watching the launching.

It was an interactive game where a story was created before the start of the story.

And to her surprise the character design were some designs that she created in passing while trying out his work.

It was a simple love tory where the ending was simple as well.

The guy asked the girl, "Will you marry me?"

She wasn't expecting on thing though.

The fact where the guy proposed was the exact same spot they are currently in.

She slowly looked at her side and there he was sitting beside her with a ring on his hands.

Smiling the same way the character was.

"Will you marry me?"

The launching continued and it was announced that the love story was just a special opening and it has nothing to do with the game a tall.

It was simply a gift by the min creator to his lover.

"Yes."
