Author long rant :-):

Sorry for the long-awaited update, it was an insane week at work and at home. I'm NOT dropping the story, I just wanted to give you all an advice about spreading like a wildfire pandemic:

1) I BEG all of you if it's possible STAY AT HOME; if you are young PROBABLY the coronavirus won't kill you, but if you deliver it to your home it will most likely put your parents in a hospital bed with a deadly "flu".

2) The best-known weapon against coronavirus is HYGIENE, remember about washing your hands!

3) If you need to go out for work, I can't stop you, go and be useful for something :-). But if you need to go make some shopping, don't forget about your elderly neighbors - most of us know an old lady/gramps next door, show us all what humanity is all about, at least ask if she/he needs help with shopping, if the virus is dangerous for you, for her/him it's most likely deadly.

4) All official sources are reporting that house pets can't transmit the disease, show them some love :-)

5) Flat Brainers, there are people that "diD Theyr rezearch", aka. watched stupid videos on Youtube about Covid-19. Those morons believe that it's just flu, they think that they're safe because they are young. Idiots don't care that they can transmit their disease to other people and their family, they call other's brainwashed sheep for not listening to their enlightened minds. If I remember right, it's the same situation with Flat Earthers - according to them, everyone was brainwashed by NASA, even Aristotle, Ptolemy, Galileo, and Newton... Don't let such stupid ideas endanger you and your family, use a hammer to bash some logic in if it's necessary (no, don't do that - it was only a joke :-P)

Sorry for the long info dump, but I believe it's necessary to post it as much as possible to bypass the situation happening in Italy and Spain (Keep fighting European brothers!). My country closed the schools and borders very early (IMO still too late) and asked every citizen to stay in their homes. For now, we're observing the rise of infected by ~70/day (20 days after the first Covid-19 case in the country).

In the middle of the night, Kaname's sleep was interrupted by a loud rapping on her front doors.

"*Yawn* A new day - will it start with a blast?" she deadpanned after waking up.

She put on her bathrobe and moved to the doors, opening them she saw two men, Kakashi's face and silver hair had patches of blood, on his arm was unconscious and bloodied brown-haired man called Tenzō.

"We need help Kana-chan" Kakashi visibly limped on his right leg.

"Bring him in, put him down on a sofa in the living room" she ordered.

"Thank you" he sat on the armchair near the couch.

"So what has happened Doofus-kun? Are we under attack?" Kaname was diagnosing Tenzō's injuries.

"We're not under attack. Kana-chan, do you trust me?" he asked.

"I don't like where this is going. I trust you, but you have a weird affliction of doing stupid things"

"The pot calling the kettle back Kana-chan?"

"*Sigh* … I can't contradict that. So what has happened?"

"I can't give you the details, I was tasked with the infiltration mission of Root by Sarutobi-sama. I will need your help with braking a nasty seal put on me if you want to know more"

"Let my guess that your mission went sideways. Why did you not go to the hospital?"

"Your mother has a lot of work to do now, and your house was closer, hmm how to say this without activating the seal… A couple of minutes ago the north Konoha's gate was attacked, luckily there weren't any casualties in the escape attempt, but many were wounded."

"So the c.o.c.kroach ran?"

"..." Kakashi couldn't answer the question.

"Okay, let me work on Tenzō first, he has got a concussion, his bowels were impaled multiple times as well"

"Sure, I'm sorry for the blood on your furniture I will pay you back later"

"I would be worried about that much more, these were probably chosen by Aunty Kushina herself, she will get you, one way or another" Kakashi started sweating.

Thirty minutes later she closed all the wounds on the brown-haired man's stomach.

"He will live, now what about you Doofus-kun?" she asked.

"Couple bruises and small slashes, nothing life-threatening"

"Okay, I need to get to the hospital to help my mom. Will you take care of Naruto-kun? He shouldn't be able to stand up from his bed for the next twelve hours, hehe"

"Shouldn't be able to stand up?" he asked.

"Don't mind the details. Will you protect him?" Kaname waved the question off.

"I'm not-"

"He was your sensei's child, you owe him at least that. I know that you are worried, but I believe you learned from your past mistakes" Kaname interrupted him.

"...I will protect him. And thank you Kana-chan." he answered after taking a deep breath.

"No problem. I must get changed, see you later Doofus-kun" she left the estate.

Kaname made her way into the night heading towards the hospital, jumping amidst the roofs she approached the building ten minutes later, in front of the main doors she saw her old friend.

"Hey girl, is my mom inside?" she asked.

"*Woof*!" Hamimaru replied waving her tail.

"Thanks, anything happened while you were protecting my family?"

"*W.h.i.n.e*"

"Okay, remember if you see any troublemak-"

"*Growl*"

"Good girl! I must go help now, I will give you a treat later" she patted the overgrown border-collie.

"*Woof*"

"Little Butterfly?! What are you doing here? It's 3 a.m.!" Her mother started screaming at her the moment she entered. The hospital was full of m.o.a.ning and bloodied people, Kaname noticed that her mother was applying pressure to someone's wound on his neck, while all the other medics were running around like headless white-chicken.

"Hi mom, I heard the gist of what happened and came to help"

"*Sigh* Okay, your help will ease my load a lot. Go to the second operation room, I will take the first one" Sachi replied.

"Sure. Operating team two, Follow me!" Kaname loudly ordered.

Five hours later she finished treating the last patient, walking outside the operating room she sat on a bench next to her tired mother.

"Thanks for the help Little Butterfly, so who told you about the situation?" her mother asked.

"Kakashi-kun came to my room with one of his friends heavily wounded, he informed me that many people were wounded"

"Hmm, so a boy came to your home in the middle of the night? I will ask Ryuichi to give him a shovel talk…"

"I do not care, Kakashi-kun is just a friend. Have you heard I got promoted to jōnin yesterday?" Kaname instantly got glomped.

"Haha, I'm so proud of you Little Butterfly. Both of my children got the rank of a jōnin" Sachi laughed out.

"Thanks mom. I need to return home to check on those two hopeless cases"

"Okay, take care and give a hug to Naru-chan from his grandma!" Sachi said her goodbyes.

"Will do, bye-bye"

Returning home Kaname was stopped by a black-haired boy in a mask calling her.

"Kaname-sensei, here!" he waved towards her.

"What's up Torune-kun? Did something happened?" she landed next to him.

"My father asks for you to reserve a moment of your time for some small talk, he wants to invite you to our clan district"

"Sure, I'm busy now but I can meet him at twelve, is that okay Torune-kun?"

"I will deliver the message, thank you Kaname-sensei" he bowed before running away.

'Hmm, I know they had very good relations with Minato-san, am I the first Uchiha in history that Aburame clan let into their district?' she asked herself leaping towards the closest roof.

"Hi Naruto-chan, how are you feeling?"

"Sasa is a demon, I can't move, help!" the blonde replied lying on his bed.

"Fufufu, if you want my help, we firstly must write a new pact"

"What's a pact?"

"Hmm, okay I will tortur- *cough* teach you about the basics, you won't have to leave the bed this way"

"You want to torture me, it slipped through Sasa ~datebayo!"

"Nah, I'm pretty sure you overheard that Naruto-chan, I will let my clone do the talking, your first and most important lesson, 'The Art of Pranking and why it will save your life'!" she hugged him and tousled his hair, leaving the clone behind she made her way back to the living room.

"Where is Tenzō-kun?" she asked seeing only Kakashi inside.

"He went to Hokage-sama to report what he can"

"Okay, I will put you under to work on Danzo's seal, by the way, I will have to remove your mask as well. is that okay?"

"Do whatever you need"

"Don't resist the genjutsu" Kaname's eyes flashed red knocking Kakashi out.

"Hmm, it's my first time trying to break the Tongue Eradication Seal, it shouldn't be too hard with a willing victim" she said to herself and got cracking.

Two hours later she woke Kakashi up with a slap to his face.

"Ouch, couldn't you wake me up in gentler way?"

"I didn't feel like it, test my work now" she advised.

"Danzo is a dork"

"Yeah, he is, we must go meet with Jiji now, get up" she gave him a hand and pulled him up.

"Thank you Kana-chan, I owe you again"

"Don't sweat the details, the first one in the office wins!" she launched herself towards the Hokage Mountain.

Two minutes later both jōnins jumped through Hokage's office window at the same time.

"I win!" Kaname proclaimed.

"Are you blind? I was faster than you by a sole!" Kakashi argued back.

"What did you say blondie?" Kaname growled.

"Blondie? What are you talking about?" he asked.

"I would deduct pay from both of you, but I want to hear the full report now!" Hokage interrupted them.

"Yes, I'm reporting that Danzo is a nitwit and a coward Hokage-sama" Kakashi bowed his head.

"*Sigh* Meeting you two always end up in a migraine. I see Kana-chan, you were able to crack the seal"

"Yes, blondie was my willing test subject. It was a full success" Kaname gave a thumbs up.

"Now Kakashi-kun, is that a new style? Are you trying to imitate Minato-san or what?" Sarutobi asked with a smirk on his face.

Kakashi walked towards the mirror in the corner of the room.

"Kaname…" he sported long blonde hair that looked like Minato's.

"Hahaha, you were defenseless and I just couldn't hold back. Don't worry the dye should probably go off with water. In the beginning, I wanted to give you a mustache, but you're wearing your mask."

"*Snort* Okay, Kakashi-kun for your punishment, you are to imitate Minato-san's behavior until you give me the full report of today fiasco. Now about you Kana-chan, hmm I have nothing for now, I will hold it for later"

"Yes, Hiruzen-sama" Kakashi stood up and answered replicating Yondaime's voice.

"*Snort*"

"*Snort* I need to go Jiji, Aburame clan leader asked me to meet with him in 10 minutes."

"Okay, take care jōnin-chan"

"Hoo~, you became a jōnin Kaname-chan? I'm so proud of you!" Kakashi's eyes closed in a hidden smile under his mask.

"*Pft* Whatever you say Yondaime-kun. About that Jiji, why does my jōnin promotion papers have an 'Anko Approved' with a smile stamp?" she asked.

"*Snort*" This time it was Minato's alike snort.

"Whatever, probably I was too preoccupied to take notice of it, is that a problem for you?" Hokage sighed out.

"Nope, I don't really care. I need to show it to Anko-chan, she will have a fit of laugh out of it. Bye-bye" she moved towards the window.

"Kana-chan, the doors are on the other side of the room" Hokage tried to stop the girl that just jumped out the window, heading towards the Aburame district.

In front of the main entrance stood her late student with a younger boy hidden in his light-grey jacket with a hood.

"Hello and thank you for coming Kaname-sensei"

"Hi, not a problem Torune-kun, and who is this?" Kaname pointed at a shy kid Naruto's age.

"This is Shino, my foster little brother. Say hello Shino-kun" he pushed his brother forward.

"Greetings, Kaname-sama"

"Hi Shino-chan, you're as cute as my Naruto-chan, hehe" Shino's cheeks under dark goggles got redder.

"Kaname-sensei, let me lead you to the clan leader. I will answer all the questions you have on the way" Torune started leading them into the district.

"Why is your district so far away Torune-kun? It's the furthest district from the center of Konoha, it took me some time to get here"

"It's because of the unlogical fear of insects, most humans proclaim them as dirty animals, while-"

"Idiots, insects are one of the cleanest animals there are" Kaname's comment stopped Torune in his tracks.

"Wow sensei. That's the first time I heard that line from someone outside of my clan"

"Knowledge is a weapon Torune-kun. Now how do you do in the academy?" she asked.

"It's my last year, I'm doing alright. Here we are, it's the Lair" he stopped in front of a big barrow.

"A Lair? I thought you would call it a Hive or a Nest"

"The Hive and Nest terms have a different usage Kaname-sensei. Follow me" he opened the trap doors and went down.

Inside the structure was neater than she thought, after a couple of steep stairs the corridor opened into a large hall. Kaname noticed many Aburame clan members working on research. The middle of the chamber was filled with a pillar of earth, many ninjas were delicately taking small insects out of it and transported them to one of the terrariums laying near the walls of the room.

"Interesting place Torune-kun, what are they researching?"

"It's the purpose of my clan to discover every species of insects there are and find their purpose in our lives. We discovered tens of thousands of different species, but we are able to use only five of them in our jutsus, the rest of the species are crossbred to find the best solutions for farmaceuticals. All of the civilian medicines are tested on one of the insect species before they reach the market."

"Hmm, so many possible combinations, your clan will stay occupied for years researching all of them"

"Hundreds Kaname-sensei. Father! I brought you our guest!"

Kaname noticed a man she last saw in the council after the Kyubi incident. As all Aburame Clan members, his eyes were obscured by dark glasses, he had black-spiky hair and a mustache.

"Kaname-san! Thank you for coming to our Lair" he greeted her in a calm voice.

"Hello Shibi-sama, I couldn't miss the opportunity to see the famous research center of the Aburame clan"

"You are the fourth not-Aburame here in the last five years Kaname-san. Welcome"

"If I may ask, who was here before me?"

"Hiruzen-sama and my late teammate Minato with our team leader"

"Jiraya-san was your sensei?!" Kaname asked perplexed.

"Yes, it's not a topic for everyone's ears, follow me to my office. Torune-kun and Shino-kun your mother prepared lunch for you, go before it gets cold" he led her away.

(AN: He wasn't Minato's teammate - but there is no info about Jiraya's team :-P)

Kaname walked inside another room, it was an office filled with hundreds of folders sorted in alphabetical order on the shelves, the room looked bland, a single desk with a chair and a leather sofa on the side. The only thing that was attracting her attention was a shelf behind the desk and a massive intricate scroll atop of it.

"*Sigh* Now we can talk without anyone eavesdropping on our conversation. Let me ask you a question Kaname-san, why?"

"I'm sorry Shibi-sama, why what?"

"Why did you did something so utterly illogical as to save one of my sons? If you tailed the spy you could easily uncover one of the Root bases"

"Oh that, you know that I hate the Elder Danzo?"

"Yes, I deduced that after meeting you in the council Kaname-san"

"Good, then it will be easier. Danzo was a literal pain in the a.s.s for everyone from my generation, he thought he rules Konoha from the shadows I just tended to disagree with the fool"

"He is still somewhere out there, maybe not as dangerous as he is not in Konoha, but there is nothing holding him back now. So I ask again why did you save my sons instead of following the Root agent? What do you want Kaname-san?"

"I don't want anything Shibi-sama, I just saw an enemy scaring two young and weak kids, one of which was once my student, and I just acted"

"*Sigh* The second coming of Kushina… You want to say you did that without a thought for the future consequences just to one-up Danzo?" he asked calmly.

"I wouldn't use such words Shibi-sama but you understood the gist of it" she replied nervously.

"As flawed as it is... I believe you, I have got a gift for you"

"A gift? For what Shibi-sama?"

"Guess Kaname-san. Did you not save at least one of my sons from becoming a slave, did you not remove the old tumor from Konoha's council. I feel indebted to you, and I want to stay on friendly terms with you" he walked behind his desk towards a shelf and hoisted the scroll.

"What is this?" she asked when Shibi passed her the roll.

"One of my clan's treasured summoning contracts. It was passed to me by my father, unfortunately, there is a requirement that the user must be skillful in the art of genjutsu. The last four Aburame clan leaders didn't meet those requirements, but I believe you can manage them. I would like to ask you just to return the scroll to my clan in your last will" he explained.

"A summoning of what animal? I wouldn't mind spiders or ants, but I'm not sure I'm compatible with them"

"From what I heard from Sachi-sama, you wouldn't mind the species" he replied mysteriously.

"You got me interested Shibi-sama" Kaname slowly rolled the piece of paper out reading the names.

'Indra Ōtsutsuki, where did I hear this name?' she brainstormed after reading the first name, the rest of the names were filled with Aburame Clan leaders.

"Interesting, did you hear where your ancestors found the scroll Shibi-sama?"

"From what I know it was somewhere in the deep and cold wastelands of Iron Country near a nameless pile of human bones, from reading the name in the scroll they buried the remains under the name of Indra Ōtsutsuki" he explained.

"Do you know who he was? I heard the name somewhere, but I can't remember when or where it's like a part of my memory got delet-", Kaname eyes flashed in understanding, 'F*ck you Shinigami... Does that mean that this knowledge is somehow dangerous for him? If I heard it once I will hear it again, fate is a fickle bitch Soul Reaper'

"No there are no records about Indra in any of the archives, many of my ancestors attempted to find such records without a success. Now, to sign the contract you need to write your name in the empty column using your blood. Be careful, the summons will most likely check if you're compatible with the use of genjutsu, many of my ancestors woke up in a hospital after trying the summoning" he explained.

"What now?" Kaname asked after healing the cut on her palm.

"Put just a tiny droplet of chakra and summon the creature, the seals to summon-"

"Thank you Shibi-sama, I saw Anko-chan summoning her snakes, I know the hand seals"

"Remember just a droplet, if you summon one of the bigger creatures you will most likely destroy the office or even the Lair"

'Let's try with one percent of my chakra' making sure she used the right seals, she put her hand to the ground and activated her Sharingan "<Kuchiyose no Jutsu>!" (Summoning Technique)

From a tiny cloud of smoke appeared a tiny, green, hairy, turd-like creature.

"<Kai>!" Shibi shouted out.

"It's not a genjutsu Shibi-sama. What is going on?" Kaname asked watching the caterpillar slowly crawling on the ground.

"Probably you used to small of an amount of chakra, cut the connection and try again Kaname-san"

After dispelling the summon, Kaname tried again "<Kuchiyose no Jutsu>!" before the smoke cloud cleared she was assaulted by a powerful mind attack that knocked her back onto the sofa, 'Woah, genjutsu powerful enough to overwhelm the Sharingan' with a shake of her head her vision returned back. On her finger sat a red butterfly the size of her thumb looking straight into her eyes.

"Hello little one, did we meet before?" Kaname asked.

'Hello, are you the new summoner? My name is Matsu, and no I never left the Kirameku Kawa (Glittering Rivers), you probably met my mother, she liked to loiter about the forests of Konoha when she was younger' the voice inside her head belonged to a young male. Looking at the butterfly now, she noticed it had black-red wings with little white accents at their end.

"My name is Kaname, nice to meet you. Are you talking directly in my mind?" she asked.

'Yes, as powerful as I am, I can't use my proby yet to speak with my voice' (Proboscis - is an insect's elongated nose or snout (wiki))

"Heh so tiny, and already calling himself powerful, yet you're beautiful sitting on my finger"

'Hmph just you wait, I will show you someday how powerful I am! For your information I'm a man, so you can call me handsome, not beautiful! Now, as funny as it is, can you wake up this sleepy-head?' Matsu requested.

"Hehe, are you blushing?" she asked moving towards Shibi lying on the ground.

'I never blush, I don't have the cheeks to get a blush!' he answered indignantly.

"Really? I can swear you're blushing right now" she teased him.

'No, I don't!'

"What has happened?" Shibi woke up looking straight at Kaname.

"The genjutsu of this little beautiful guy got you Shibi-sama" she replied showing off the butterfly sitting on her finger. In response, Matsu rose his abdomen towards her.

'Beautiful my ass!'

"*Sigh* I understand. So you were able to overcome the test, what do you think about your summons?"

"Thank you Shibi-sama. I'm fully compatible with butterflies. I have got a question, do you mind small chaos in Konoha?" she asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Hehe, just walk out from the Lair and watch the show. Thank you for letting me see your clan's research center"

"You're always welcome here"

"Thanks, I need to go, a massive prank won't execute itself. Bye" she waved her hand with a butterfly still on her finger.

'WOAH! Do you want to kill me? We butterflies are delicate!'

"Oups, sorry I forgot about you. Is your mother a boss summon?" she asked leaving the Lair.

'Yeah, she is massive' Matsu replied.

"I hope she doesn't mind a little fun, go back and tell her I will try to summon her in a moment, can you do that for me handsome?" Kaname asked. This time she was sure that the butterfly was blushing.

'I will see you later Kaname' Matsu disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Now, how to record Jiji's face…Right <Kage Bunshin no Jutsu>. Kana-1, go to the Hokage's office, no wait. Stay outside and wait until I summon the boss" she ordered her clone.

Climbing atop the Hokage's mountain she watched the bustling city underneath her feet, using her Sharingan she zoomed towards the Aburame district noticing the silhouettes of Shibi with his family watching the mountain.

'Heh, I have got an audience, I hope it will work out' Kaname put all of her chakra into the summoning the boss butterfly, with a loud boom she felt her feet were rising from the ground.

Below her she noticed a body coated by short and soft to touch black hair.

Everyone in Konoha stopped what they were doing, they all looked at the mountain that was instantly covered by a smoke cloud. The first thing they saw was the tips of black-red butterfly wings reaching both sides of the mountain when the smoke cleared everyone noticed an insanely big insect looking down onto the village.

"Did you summon me?" A powerful female's voice shocked Kaname out of her stupor.

"Hello, my name is Kaname. It's nice to meet you again"

"Ah I remember you, you are the child that almost caught me twelve years ago when I sat on your hand. My name is Psyche. Now why did you summon me, my son told me about something fun happening here"

"Hahaha, sorry I just got visuals of what happened with this Jiji shouting at us from below. His favorite pipe dropped from his mouth out the window. Isn't the population funny enough looking at us totally gobsmacked, not sure if they should run or hide? I just wanted to ask you if you could fly me around Psyche-san, it's one of my dreams to be able to fly"

"You summoned me just to fly around? You could use half the amount of chakra and summon one of my smaller brothers"

"I'm someone that always looks at the best solutions. From what I know you're the best I could summon. And please let's go, I see a squad of Anbu coming our way."

"Hehe, okay hold on!" with a mighty leap and a flap of wings Kaname found herself in the air.

"WHEEE!"
