Two Persona Beauty

XiennaYan woke up around 4 in the afternoon, she wobbly walked to the kitchen counter, and poured herself a glass of water, after drinking, she felt her throat was still dry, to relieved her thirst she poured herself 2 more glass of water until she's satisfied.

She maneuver herself slowly at the counter to cook for herself. As she was eating, her phone ring, seeing the name of her grandmother XienAnxi on the screen, she answered it directly.

"Hello" as she slowly eat her food.

"Where have you been? I've been trying to contact you since last night and the whole day. I was about to go at your place if you still haven't answered" her grandmother anxiously said.

"Sorry grandma, i was out last night and left my phone here at the house."

"What where you doing that you even left your phone?" she questioned her

Knowing that her grandma will keep on bothering her if she will not properly explain, she lied to her, knowing that, the less they know the safer they will be.

"A friend from M city called me last night when i arrived home, saying that she will be in the city for the night before going back to M city. We hang out the whole night enjoyed some drinks, then i send her to the airport, when i arrived home i went directly to sleep and just woke up an hour ago." she explained.

She heard the doubt in her voice, that's when she said "I was with QaiLizi, you know her. remember?"

"hmm, hmm yes i remember her." she acknowledge, then proceed with the real reason she called "how was your date yesterday?"

"it was good, he was different from the other men you've send to me arranged previously." She said truthfully.

"good, good" her grandma said approvingly, and before ending the call she told her "when will you start working?"

"grandma, you and mom can still manage the company. And i want to practice and learn more the skills in handling company matter, i'll look for a job, and i want to get the job on my own without any help. I promise once i think i'm good enough and ready, i will tell you"

"ok, and be sure to hurry. I'll hang up the phone, take care and be sure to come home visit us."

"yes, i'll visit you sometime. Take care also and always have a good health." she said before hanging up the phone.

After she ate and washed the dishes, she went to her living room bringing her medicine kit, pick up the remote control, turned on the television.

While she tore the old dressing of her wound, she heard news on the TV as they cover it up as totally different story...before listening to the whole cover story they put she pick up the remote to turn it back off. Changing the dressing of her wound she also reapplied the medicine, before going back to sleep.

The following morning, as she felt much better than the previous day, she woke up early, change into formal attire and applied a little foundation to cover up some bruising, making sure that her resume other files, wallet, keys and her phone were inside her satchel, she hang it to her body diagonally, she stop in front the door and grabbed her loafers from the right cabinet and changed to it before going out the apartment.

At the very moment,

Inside the Yang Corporation meeting room, MuChen, who was sitting in the coldly in the middle of meeting table with the senior management that are on a full max concentration.

As they listened to reports from the department head personnel and their assistance, stressed out by the big pressure put at them. The meeting went for a long time as MuChen rejected a lot of proposal and made them revise on the spot. After rechecking the revised proposal and making some minor correction.

It was 2 hours after lunch, when the meeting was over, it took 6 and a half hour, the senior management and all the other workers that were on the meeting were totally hungry, exhausted and tortured so badly. MuChen just step out from the meeting room following behind him were his personal assistant Ye XuTao and senior management who wanted to runaway. Walking towards the elevator, he heard a familiar voice, he stop, search where voice came, not far away from them, at the end of the corridor, he see her talking with the public relations manager.

"you can officially start tomorrow, is the alright?" Wu LingXian asked.

"Yes, no problem." XiennaYan agreed right away as she recovering well, she can manage to start to tomorrow.

"Then, see you tomorrow. you can report directly to the front office so that they can assist you with the entry procedure."

"Yes, thank you" walking towards the elevator, she put her earbuds to listen some music to calm herself.

As their boss suddenly stopped in his tracks, the senior management following behind him stopped too, but before they could think of why did he stopped, he continued walking towards the elevator. They see a lady standing in front of the lift and was not able to notice them, seeing that she is wearing an office attire they assumed that she is one of the employees, and thought that she was being disrespectful towards them, but no one have the courage to reprimand the lady because the boss was here, except ShanQiyi who is aiming to be recognized by MuChen as his woman.
