Two Persona Beauty

MuChen was awake the whole time, and was only closing his eyes.

He noticed when XiennaYan woke up and wanted to speak to her, when he heard noise of the door knob being slightly turned and when someone got inside.

He listened to there conversation, as he couldn't keep on acting asleep hearing his wife frustrated and angry voice because of GuXian.

"Can't you understand a single word she said? she wants you to leave." - His cold voice sounded through out the room.

GuXian looked at him casually, before continuing.

"What do you care? Can you see I am talking to her and your not part of it." - GuXian said looking to MuChen then looked towards XiennaYan. - "Yan, just please hear me out, i just want to clarify some events from the past?" - he added.

XiennaYan, just ignored GuXian and talk to MuChen... - "Chen, why are you sleeping there you'll get sick, you should have stayed at home to have proper rest your busy with work this past few days and have not enough rest, you could have let someone else stayed with me." - she said worrying about his health.

"Hmm, i am alright, just napping for a bit." - MuChen said to her calmly, before saying to GuXian... - "I care about her, she is my wife? what business do you have with my wife?" - he said standing up and walked towards XiennaYan bed making sure that she was properly covered with the blanket.

GuXian was stunned for a while, he never thought that XiennaYan would get married and have forgotten about her.

Somethings stings inside him, and felt like he was left behind, not accepting it as truth.

"Wife? I never heard she got married." - GuXian stated.

"Why? do i have to tell you if i get married?" - XiennaYan responded.

"Your father knows? how could you get married to someone you are not that familiar."

"Why does he have to know? They are not worth to be called a father nor a family." - She stated... - "How could you say i am not familiar with him? He is my husband, my judgement might have been clouded 4 years ago, but i can decide on my own and can tell if the person truly cares about me and not just acting but stabbing me behind my back."

GuXian was quiet for awhile, because he know he was one of the person who she meant.

"...but, Yan..." - he can't compose his words as he didn't know where to start. "I understand..., i just want to know before i leave, 4 or 5 years ago, you've told me about what WanXin and his family did to you, are all of those true?"

XiennaYan startled by his questioned, she never thought that there will be a day that GuXian will doubt them.

"I never lied to you... not even once... it's up to you what you believe, it's all in the past." - She said to GuXian before looking at MuChen... - "I want to rest more..."

"Hmmm" - MuChen understood what she meant to say. - "Yan already answered your question, leave." - he said to GuXian.

GuXian left XiennaYan room, with more questions and doubt in his heart. He knows WanXin really well, she even see those bruises and have the servants testimony against XiennaYan during those times.

With doubts on what really was the truth, he contacted one of his confidant that WanXin was unaware off, to asked and investigate WanXin family and WanXin herself.

In the room,

XiennaYan looked at MuChen, she wanted to tell him everything, but she is afraid of his reaction and what he'll do.

She braced herself and speak...

"Chen, do you have questions for me?" - She said unable to look him in the eye.

"Hmm, but i'll wait, until you can share those to me, without fear." - MuChen replied to her.

His response make her more worried, tears began to fall from her eyes as she don't know what to expect during that time.
