Two Persona Beauty

It was 11:30 am when she received a text from her grandmother, reminding her of the date around 3pm. She replied automatically to assure her that she will be there, so that she will not be bombarded with text and calls from her.

XiennaYan always have a strong sense of time, she would rarely be late and is always on-time.

When she arrived at the venue Z cafe and tea leaf it was already 2:55 she still have 5 more minutes to find the room. While walking inside the cafe the is amaze by its ambiance that compliments the scenery and mixed fresh roasted coffee bean with a scent of tea leaf.

At exactly 3pm she is already in front of the room 107. She softly knock on the door before opening the door, as she open and step inside the room. A slightly sweet aroma of black tea welcomed her, and a gentle raspy voice can be heard following the source of voice she see a charismatic man at the other side of the table is a man. As he steeped his tea in a composed manner while he is talking on the phone with hostility to the person on the other side of the phone.

XiennaYan slightly inhaled as she broke off her stare to finally picked up her pace as she walked over towards the table. As she sat down on the soft cushion opposite to the man, she took a glimpse at him when he unexpectedly looked at her.

Seeing his face up close, his remarkably handsome face with the subtle eyes, perfect nose with the most alluring lips combined with his aristocratic aura that unleashed from its concealment.

For a brief moment they shared an unexplained sensitivity for each other. She quickly returned to her senses, as her slightly blushing face was stunned with pure esteemed flash in her clear eyes.

MuChen took a look at her, and something flash briefly at his deep eyes. He modestly nod at her, as he plainly respond to the person on the the other line - "decline the proposal, as for the others check it first and accept who fits." with that he ended the call.

MuChen was actually reluctant to attend this date considering what happen yesterday, but he was helpless with her grandmothers persistence. From time to time he received a text or call informing him how important it is and he must be here.

He calmly look at the lady sitting opposite to him, he remember it was the lady who introduce herself yesterday to him. As he tried to remember her name -

"Hello, I'm Lin XiennaYan." she said only when after she saw him put his phone away. "I'm sorry with my abrupt behavior yesterday, you might not remember..."

"It's alright i remember you from yesterday at the apartment, right?" offering her a cup of tea, his clean-cut face was at ease as he continued - "Hello, Ms. Lin. I'm Yang MuChen"

She smiled, picking up her cup to take a sip, then ask "Did i make you wait long Mr. Yang?"

"I just reached as well" he simply answered, getting the menus on the side and giving one at her "Lets order something first, i heard that they also specialized with their desserts aside from the coffee and tea that makes them popular."

As she glance at the desserts on the menu she said... "I'm not really into sweets, i'm good with this" as she sipped the tea again.

"you don't like sweets? the might this cake to your liking." as he pointed on the coffee cake "i also don't like sweets, and this cake compliments with this tea. I always order this when i'm here"

"then let me also order the same as yours, i will not take a pass with your recommendation Mr. Yang." she said ordering the same cake as his.

"Please, Ms. Lin, you can drop the formality Mr.Yang is also my father and grandfather, you can just call me MuChen" he said trying to drop the formalities and awkward atmosphere.

"Then please, you can also call me Xienna or Yan after all my name quite long i don't want you to be bothered MuChen" as she finished her sentence the cake they ordered was served.

As they continue with a friendly atmosphere, they begun to get to know each other more in an aspect that they clicked with each others personality. As if they were a long time friends, as they forgot that they were on a blind date.

She found out that like her, he was also put on several blind dates because of his grandmothers insistent. Also he is currently managing their family business, as his father just wanted to take an early rest. She did not ask more what kind of business, but later on she will find out that the man he is talking right now is the most powerful and most eligible bachelor in C city.

She told him what happened to her before 4years ago, like how she found out that her fiancee has been cheating on her with her step-sister, how she was almost accused and her cutting ties with the Lin family and some trivial matters that includes the past 4years she was abroad.

Times passed by before they notice that it was already getting dark outside.

As they went outside the room MuChen offered her to ride with him since they are going on the same place. Considering that the place is located in a little bit remote area and she has to walk on to the next corner just to get a taxi, she hesitatingly accepted the offer.

Arriving at the counter, she offered to pay half of the bill, but MuChen insisted on him paying with the reason because he is the man.

Waiting for him beside the doorway, while she is leaning on the wall, she notice not far from where she is standing she saw a couple walking towards her way, the lady clinging on the mans arm saying sweet words to each other. As they neared her the lady notice her and was slightly appalled at seeing her but was able to control and calm herself and pretentiously act with her usual sweet kind sister she was.
