The windows were so high from the floor to the ceiling that the outside panorama was like a high definition screen in the movie theaters. The birds traveled past and the winds gushed as if to remind you that you were in their space now. Wu Lina beamed. She went near the window and looked down. The city below was far away - it seemed like another world. Everything appeared like ants. Wu Lina felt as if the penthouse was her cocoon. There was an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a deck. Wu Lina imagined a late night dip with Yang Xinyu with views of the city below them.

As she was looking around the penthouse, she couldn't help notice that luggage had already arrived. She took Yang Xinyu's hand and leaned on his arms while walking and discovering the various rooms. There were four rooms in all and a big living room in which all the rooms opened. A foyer led to the living room. There was a small room adjacent to the foyer.

"What is this room for?" asked Wu Lina pointing at the door of the room.

"That's where all the security will be stationed," replied Yang Xinyu.

"You mean we will be under 24x7 security surveillance? We will be watched all the time." Asked Wu Lina with disgust on her face.

"It's important darling," he replied with a slight smile. He knew Wu Lina hated being watched by others.

Wu Lina made a face. He stroked her hair lovingly and took her to the kitchen. An old housekeeper greeted them. She looked very gentle and was wearing a dress.

"Good morning Young Master Xinyu and young miss," she greeted them.

Wu Lina was taken aback. She was too shy. She'd never had the luxury of taking the services of a housekeeper.

"G… Good morning," Wu Lina stuttered with a smile.

"Please prepare us a nice lunch Mrs. Jiao," requested Yang Xinyu.

"She has always been a housekeeper here Wu Lina. She will take care of this house very nicely. Don't worry," he said to Wu Lina pulling her out of the kitchen.

He took her to their room. It was a lovely room, very spacious with a walk-in closet. He directed her to the bathroom, which was again huge. There was a tub in the center. The vanity mirror was life-size. Wu Lina gasped at the mere luxury and opulence of the bathroom. 'I could spend an entire day reading a book in that tub', she thought with a chuckle.

"What is it?" Asked Yang Xinyu curious at her reaction.

"Nothing," she shook her head and went to the bedroom. She admired her new home. While they were taking the tour of the house, all her luggage was already sorted out. Her clothes were now hanging in Yang Xinyu's closet.

It was past noon and both of them went to the kitchen to have their lunch. Mrs. Jiao was a superb cook, and the two ate whatever she had prepared as if they were hungry from the past two days!

Yang Xinyu announced that they had to visit someplace. They went to the elevator. The elevator stopped at the 47th floor and Wu Lina saw someone entering the nightclub that was located there. She was sure that she saw Lai Mingxin. She was surprised and focused on him, but by that time he had gone inside the club. She waved her hand and sighed. She made a mental note to call him whenever possible. It had been so many days since he had been non-communicable.

Both of them came down and sat in the car. Yang Xinyu instructed his driver to take them to the City Center mall. The City Center mall was the one of the most exclusive malls in the city. Only luxury brands were available there. Wu Lina had seen it from the outside but had never visited it.
