Transporting From A Normal Office To A Fantasy World

Damon was quite shocked after hearing Aqua challenging him to a duel. He wasn't sure if Aqua was just too brave or too foolish. He gave it a second thought that Aqua might be some hidden expert but his Thoughts were crossed out when he saw Freya Panick. "Sure, you set the rules of the duel" Damon replied with a hint of excitement in his reply. It had been so long that someone had challenged him for battle within Dark Arena.

"No need for exception rules, Let's go with basic rules. It will be a sword fight with each of us using Same quality of sword that is a basic sword provided by the Arena. Magic is prohibited. There would be no Time limit. One side will lose when they are unable to battle any further. Is that acceptable?" Aqua asked. "A mage engaging in melee combat? You sure are pretty interesting. However, I am a swordsman so I have no problem with this duel." Damon replied with a confident grin on his face. The other people present there were flabbergasted by Aqua's rules. Even Freya was rendered speechless. She could have chances of winning if she demanded magic to be allowed but now chances of winning felt minimal. Needless to say, Damon was a swordsman who had years of experience.

As they entered the Arena, The number of spectators rose. It had hit a full capacity of 10,000 members! This was a rare sight.

"Crap, who challenged Damon?!"

"A Mage engaged in sword battle fighting against Swordsman is bound to lose within a minute or less"

"An Iron-tiered adventurer VS Jing-tiered adventurer. People sure are reckless these days."

Freya took the position of judge and started the countdown of duel.

As soon as the duel started, Damon dashed towards Aqua and tried to oppress her with power. Without thinking, Aqua also charged to do a head on battle with Damon.

*Clang!*

Their swords clashed each other and created strong echoing sound of metals clashing each other. The audience could not believe their eyes. A Mage stopped a fierce attack from a swordsman? This was Simply unheard of! The Audience went crazy only with one clash of their swords. Even Damon refused to believe that Aqua stopped his attack. "You are quite powerful." Damon praised his opponent. "But, with power you need techniques." Damon whispered softly as he vanished. 'What?! He vanished in thin air?!" Aqua thought in her mind. She was rendered speechless by the technique. Suddenly, a Blade sliced through Aqua's armour, damaging her to some extended.

"Argh!" Aqua g.r.o.a.n.e.d with pain. But, she endured it and focused at his next attack.

"Remember, Opponent will contain skills you could never imagine of. Only thing you could do is adapt to it and counterattack. Try hearing for the smallest amount of noise created by opponent or sense them by using your instincts. Try Predicting the next attacks and the parts where the opponent you think will attack. Be one step ahead and you should be fine."

She immediately realized what Roka had taught her and she closed her eyes. The audience along with Damon was confused of her action. Damon constantly appeared and disappeared hurting Aqua. She had cuts all around her body by now. When Damon was going to land a Crucial hit on Aqua, She turned around and parried his attack. Damon was shocked that Aqua had blocked his attack.

"Truly Interesting!" Damon exclaimed as he saw his hands trembling with excitement. "A mage capable of grasping my technique.I commend you but at your stage, you are too weak." Damon said as his body glowed in red giving a faint pressure. Realization dawned on Freya that it was Damon's one of the special Anility, "Broken Edge". Damon charged again but this time his speed had increased tremendously, at least Thrice of his original speed. Aqua barely tried to stop the attack but not only his speed but power also had increased thrice the times. Aqua was sent flying back and made a dent on the Wall. "Aqua!" Freya cried as she saw her fly back. She was heavily injured as her body laid there. She somehow managed to getup and activated her original skill which she named, "Horizon Sword". She charged towards Damon at once with no fear in her eyes. As their swords clashed this time, It created Violent winds in the fields. It was hard for everyone to see what was going on the Arena. Within a short amount of time after everything got normal. The Arena Wall nearly collapsed and what everyone expected did happen, Aqua lost. Damon stood there with his sword broken and some scratches on his face while Aqua was on the ground lying unconscious.
