“Chairman Lu, I’m afraid you [formal] might have misunderstood. Siyu isn’t signed under Huanyi.” Xu Qingwan gently reminded him.

Xu Qingwan’s face turned pale and almost instantly she realized that she had been too impatient. Just now, hadn’t she considered herself clever and reminded him? Wasn’t that just slapping Lu Xingzhou’s face? But… but when did Zhou Siyu sign a contract with Huanyi? Why was she (XQW) completely unaware of this?!

What he said was the same as confirming Siyu’s previous statement. Everyone on the scene was quick-witted. With a bit of thinking, they immediately knew that this CEO–whether it was deliberate or not–was protecting Siyu. Since this happened, the expression in the onlookers’ eyes that were looking at Siyu immediately changed.

Just now when there was a rumor circulating in the production team that Siyu would be kicked out due to a sponsor, these people were secretly gossiping about it and wondering how Siyu ended up offending the Ji family.
