Ji Lin’s role as the male lead had been publicized from an earlier time. However, Siyu didn’t expect that Ji Lin would unexpectedly be pulled here to act as a judge!

She began to cough up blood with a pale face, coughing until her vision became blurry. Then she looked up towards the judges as if her life was diminishing.

That glance was filled with the pain of suffering, but then very quickly the expression in her eyes turned calm, unperturbed towards the imminent death. Then, she closed her eyes slightly with a smile on her lips as if she was showing contempt to the enemy troops.

Her death was not humiliation, rather it was a glory. She bore the anger of the whole rebel troops with this frail body of hers, yet she held onto the pride of an honorable princess till her death. She died a worthy death and she died with no regrets. 

Siyu slowly relaxed her body and let go all of her strength. Just like a butterfly with broken wings, she fell slowly onto the ground without any sound.

The whole meeting room went silent. Ji Lin was the first to come back to his senses. He really wanted to dash over help his elder sister up. It looked painful to fall like that! However, with everybody watching, it wouldn’t be good if he showed too particular behavior. Thus, he could only use his eyes to signal Xiao Ai who was standing beside him to help the person up.

The next one to snap out of it was Director Liang Qian. He was an expert. Naturally, he could see that Siyu’s acting was unripe and she had never received any training. However, what’s rare from Siyu was that her act was “real” enough. This word was very easy to say and very hard to do. Most of it depended on the person’s talent. Liang Qian had this confidence that what he was seeing right now was definitely a piece of unpolished jade!

“Good, good!” Lian Qian’s expressions hardly cover their excitement. Whether it was Siyu’s slender and sickly appearance or that hard-to-distinguish-real-from-fake acting when she was pretending to be sick, they all made Lian Qian feel very satisfied.
