Chapter 28 Waiting for Action

The transforming super-heavy truck carrying Sun Cheng continued to move forward, but after only four or five minutes, it stopped again.

Sitting in the driver's seat, Sun Cheng could clearly see that with a tan-colored flash, their vehicle seemed to blend completely into the surrounding environment like a layer of camouflage.

Unfortunately, he encountered a group of Decepticon warriors who could never seriously execute his plans. So after rising of Charge and becoming the strategist of the Decepticon army, Onslaught gradually disappeared.

But in Sun Cheng's eyes, Onslaught should be an anomaly among the Decepticons. If it were Baricade, he wouldn't even need to think about it, he would definitely go head-on.

Seeing that Onslaught seemed easy to talk to, he couldn't help but think of something and tentatively asked, "Lord Onslaught, are there really nuclear weapons stored in this base?"

"Yes!" Onslaught's answer was very affirmative, "Starscream once sent the Camera Team to spy on it. Although this is an aircraft graveyard, there are also missile storage facilities inside the base. Sun Cheng was speechless. He understood the agreement that Onslaught was talking about. It was probably the "Treaty on the Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms" signed by the United States and Russia.

The vehicle quickly stopped inside the abandoned tunnel. In a short while, clear information about the base's internal facilities, patrol situations, hangars, and ammunition depots were all fed back to his Spy Template.

After releasing a dozen or so insect detectors in succession and spending several hours, Sun Cheng finally breathed a sigh of relief after mastering the base's facilities and distribution. His confidence in completing the mission increased, and he was just waiting for the action to begin.
