“I’ve been forgetting one thing” Not long after entering the casino, Leng Yiyao suddenly turned around and smiled at him. The key point being her meaningful smile.

“What?” Despite the veil covering his face, the faint floating light still made his eyes pause.

“What’s your name? I can’t always call you ‘Hey’.” 

The moment she paused at the entrance, she realised that to address him as ‘this’ or ‘that’ was quite a troublesome affair. If there was an unforeseen event, and the people travelling together didn’t even know the name of the other person, people might assume that they had solely come in with the purpose of stirring up trouble! In all honesty, she simply came here to gain some experience.

“Zhai Mu”. He said lightly, but his gaze fell on her, his meaning obvious.

“Leng Yao.” She said without hesitation. In any case, the surname Leng was not uncommon here and she deliberately missed a word. She was not afraid of him finding out her identity.

The two walked in, side by side. Pretending to turn aside first, Leng Yiyao took a detour around the bathroom. She then changed some chips and proceeded to head towards the central area.

Under the dazzling crystal chandelier, the glazed ceiling appeared to flicker like flames. Below the interwoven pieces of gold and jade in glorious splendour, a total of 800 gaming tables were spread across the room.

Amidst the scenery of clothes, perfume and sideburns, most of them were arrogant gamblers who spent a lot of money. Piles and layers of chips were placed on the table, reflecting a bizarre scene. Some people bowed their heads and whispered, while others frowned and thought with solemn expressions.

Despite the broad daylight and the interiors being less crowded, the gaming tables were in full swing with baccarat, blackjack, gambling and various other games.

She took a closer look and found that the number of guests wearing local robes were not the most, instead it was the foreigners who formed a large part of the crowd.

Due to the long-term exposure to the sunlight, local people tended to have wheatish skin, while the skin of these foreigners was significantly fairer. Under the glittering light, it appeared to be even more outstanding.

The ladies working in the casino travelled in twos and threes, occasionally flirting with acquaintances, but more often, they used other means to win tips or gambling money from the guests.

Leng Yiyao discovered that none of the charmingly dressed casino ladies had a veil. Their smiling eyes held an alluring charm, attracting the guests who seemed unable to move their gaze away.

However, there was only one exception…

Leng Yiyao felt that the twinkling eyes of the beauties were all fed to the dog. Whenever they smiled with an intent of approaching them, Zhai Mu always had the ability to pass by them without even squinting the corner of his eyes.

Tsk tsk, looking at the droopy countenance of the beauties, Leng Yiyao simply could not compare. Could it be that there was a problem with the eyes? In that case, it would be quite easy to dupe this man of his money.

“What are you looking at?” Behind her ears, she suddenly heard a low voice.

She smiled slightly and looked calm. Keeping a curious expression on her face, she pointed towards the luxury private rooms with closed doors behind the beauties: “Are those private rooms not open?” The door was locked tightly and no light could penetrate it. It was a stark contrast in comparison to the atmosphere outside.

Zhai Mu suddenly smiled meaningfully. “No, it’s not that it is closed, but…. Idlers are not allowed in.”
