“Placing a mark on one’s glands”, or more commonly known as a “temporary mark”, is when an Alpha injects their pheromones into the glands at the back of an Omega’s neck in order to temporarily alleviate the effects of an Omega’s heat, provided nothing further happens.

If a temporarily marked Omega did not come into contact with the marker’s pheromones, all the symptoms of their heat would be completely suppressed.
