“…!”

Is this what it feels like to have tiger-like energy surging up…!

I felt my tired body energised. I was very surprised that my stamina could be restored with just one healing.

“Oh, this is awesome!”

As my eyes widened in amazement, Guseul, who had been watching me, asked quietly.

“Are you feeling better now?”

“Yes, so much better!”

I nodded with a smile. Then Guseul also smiled awkwardly with relief. She looks younger the more I look.

Would it be impolite to ask how old she is? What if she only looks young on the outside like Hae Song Ha? But looking at her voice and actions, she sure looks young. Is she in middle school? Or a high school student?

“By the way, Hunter Guseul…”

“Yes?”

“I’m sorry, but how old are you…?”

I asked because I was unbearably curious. Fortunately, Guseul answered casually.

“I’m fifteen this year. I’m in the second year of middle school.”

“Ah…”

She’s the same age as Do-gyul. My heart became complicated. I told off Do-gyul why such a young child like him wanted to enter dungeons, but the young healer standing in front of me was actually the same age as Do-gyul.

I heard that hunters of support-type abilities, excluding those in combat roles, were highly valued, so they were deployed for dungeon raids from a young age. But isn’t this too much? Using such young children like this…

“Hunter Guseul, if you have a hard time, don’t hesitate to talk to me.”

“Yes?”

“Guild Master Song Cha-hyeon and Vicemaster Song Yul are your superiors, but if there’s something you find hard to discuss with them, you can talk to me. I don’t know how much help I can give you, but…”

“…!”

She had a surprised expression on her face. Ah, she might be overwhelmed to hear such words from someone she met for the first time. I was wondering how to deal with this situation, pondering internally, but Guseul replied with a moved expression.

“Th-thank you, Hunter Han Yi-jin-nim.”

“No, well… I may be nosy, but…”

“No, Hunter Han Yi-jin-nim. Thank you for your concern!”

Guseul, holding my hands, looked up at me with sparkling eyes. I smiled and scratched the back of my head at her burdened look.

“Um, other people have called me…”

“Oh, then go ahead. See you again, Hunter Guseul.”

“Yes!”

Guseul, who greeted with a bow, walked away with her staff. I felt a bit awkward, and a bit mixed up. Do-gyul seemed to want to go to the dungeon, but what about her? I don’t think she came of her own accord. Hae Song-ha, who was watching us from the side, quietly spoke up.

“I heard that Hunter Guseul has only just awakened.”

“Really?”

“Yes, moreover, she was almost caught by the vicious brokers, but Guildmaster Song Cha-hyun pulled her out and brought her here.”

“Ohh…”

There were many despicable brokers with bad intentions around the Awakening Centre. They would manipulate and exploit the innocent awakeners, either selling them to corrupt guilds or using them for their own benefit, and a newly awakened young girl would become easy prey for them.

“She’s a healer, so she should be able to work outside the dungeon, but I heard her family was in a bad situation because they were involved in a gate accident in the past. Guildmaster Song Cha-hyun isn’t too keen on that, but healers are precious…”

“….I see.”

I nodded as I watched Guseul busily moving among the members of the support team. It seemed that the support team members, like me, were in need of healing. Well, everyone has their own circumstances, and I’m busy taking care of myself, so there isn’t much I can do to help. Still, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

“Are you concerned about Hunter Guseul?”

“Ah, yes. She is the same age as my brother…”

“Hunter Han Yi Jin-nim has a younger brother?”

“Haha, yes. A younger brother.”

“If he is the same age as Hunter Guseul, then there is a big age difference between you and your younger brother, right?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

Indeed, there is a significant age difference, almost 10 years. Han Yi-jin’s parents must have given birth to a late child.

“You’re similar to us. Song-yeon and I have a pretty big age gap, too.”

“What? Really?”

“Yes, Songyeon and I are exactly 10 years apart.”

“…”

I’m sorry, but Song Yeon doesn’t look like that at all. Outwardly, she looks like a sister who is 10 years older…

However, I couldn’t bring myself to say that, and laughed awkwardly. Now people are preparing to rest one by one.

By now it was around 10pm outside. We will rest here until morning and then moving again. Inside the cave, it was pitch black all day and night, but it was bearable when the lanterns were lit.

“Yi Jin-ah! Eat this.”

“Uh?”

Eden, who had disappeared somewhere, came back and offered me something. I took it, and it was a package convenience food.

“Where did you get this?”

“They gave it to me over there.”

“…?”

I looked where Eden was pointing, and saw several members of the support team preparing and distributing food. With the large number of people to feed, it took a long time for everyone to receive their portion. Maybe Eden managed to get me one in the meantime. They’re fast too.

“Oh, thank you.”

I accepted without hesitation. I was already hungry. I opened the package hastily.

There was a lot of chicken inside, and a savory aroma filled the air. It looked like it had just been reheated, as it was still warm.

“I heard it has rice in it too.”

“Really?”

“Yes.”

Is it like chicken wings fried rice? With curiosity, I took a bite. Surprisingly, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and the fried rice inside was full of flavour.

“Oh, this is delicious.”

“Right?”

We sat face to face and I ate my fried rice with chicken wings quickly. It was really good because I hadn’t eaten properly while rushing like crazy through Area 2.

Too bad I ate it all in a flash. I want to eat just one more. It was when I was smacking my lips with regret.

“…Huh?”

Something suddenly appeared before my eyes. I looked up and saw the fried rice with chicken wings I ate earlier. My eyes widened and I turned my head to the arm holding the fried rice with chicken wings, and Kang Yoo-hyun looked at me with an expressionless face.

""

“Eat.”

“Huh? Me?”

“Yes.”

Unexpectedly, I received fried rice with chicken wings from Kang Yoo-hyun. And I looked at Kang Yoo Hyun and asked.

“What about you?”

“I already ate.”

“Really?”

He got another one? How did he get it? Anyway, he’s good. With that thought in mind, I munched on the fried rice with chicken wings he gave me.

“Hunter Han Yi-jin!”

“…Hunter Sung Yoo-bin?”

Sung Yoo-bin ran over and stood in front of me, and shyly offered me something. It’s fried rice with chicken wings again.

“Oh, I’ve already eaten it.”

“Already?”

“Yes.”

“Still, please have another one.”

“No, I’m full because I already ate two…”

What kind of trend is this? Why is everyone so eager to give me fried rice with chicken wings? Do I look so pitiful? Han Yi-jin’s body isn’t that skinny.

“Hyung!”

“Kang Soo-hyun, even you…”

Even Kang Soo-hyun ran up to me and offered me fried rice with chicken wings.  Now that I think about it, could this be a new type of bullying? I frowned at the thought.

“Go ahead and eat it. Hunter Han Yi-jin. You should eat as much as you can in the dungeon.”

“That’s right, hyung. You should eat a lot.”

“Hurry up and eat it, Yi-jin-ah.”

“…”

""

I couldn’t possibly eat all of this…

Feeling troubled, I looked around the support team and saw Hunter Guseul running to get the food distribution in a hurry, as if she missed the time to receive it, while she was busy healing the others.

“Hunter Guseul!”

“…Yes?”

A small head approached me. As she drew closer, I could see Guseul’s face sweating profusely. I gave her the fried rice with chicken wings that Sung Yoo-bin and Kang Soo-hyun gave me.

“You haven’t eaten, right? Eat this.”

“Oh, yes, but two is…”

“You’re growing up, so you should eat a lot.”

“Oh…”

Guseul’s eyes widened in surprise as she received the fried rice with chicken wings. I nodded in approval.

“Here, eat up and stay strong!”

“Th-thank you.”

After bowing her head, Guseul glanced at me, and her complexion suddenly turned pale. When I looked back, the people who gave me fried rice with chicken wings glared at her. Why are they looking at her like that?

“What is it?”

“Yi Jin-ah, this is for each person to eat one.”

“What? But I ate several?”

“That’s…”

Then they all shut up, as if they were speechless. What has happened?

Someone approached me as I tilted my head.

“So the looters were here.”

“…!”

Song Yul approached and looked around coldly.

“Do you know how much trouble the food distribution team went through?”

“I—I gave my share…”

“Don’t you know that’s more of a problem, Leader Sung Yoo-bin?”

“Ugh…”

“You should reflect on neglecting your own management while you should be fighting on the front line.”

“Yes…”

Sung Yoo-bin bowed her head at Song-Yul’s cold words. I gulped at the sight.

“And for the others? Even if we have extra rations, how can you justify taking two each? Don’t you understand that we need to conserve our food as much as possible?”

“Huk….”

These guys ended up causing a big problem. Everything is going black. I sweated profusely and opened my mouth at Song Yul.

“I’m sorry, vicemaster-nim. They kept bringing me food, thinking I hadn’t eaten my share, so…”

“…”

Song Yul’s disgruntled gaze turned to me.
