As the convoy of wagons travels along the road with speed reaching sixty miles per hour with speeds that exceed most of the carriages that Cyrus have ridden so far and not only that, this vehicle was the most comfortable road vehicle he had sat on.

The wagons have travelled at the dark paved roads of the Alexandria kingdom, seeing this road made Cyrus grasp the strength and wealth of the city for spending a good amount of fortune to make the roads outside the city to be the best. Although they haven't arrived at the main road towards the capital yet, this condition of the road has surprised Cyrus already.

'The Annesly kingdom couldn't really compete to the wealth of the Alexandria kingdom, the difference in the development of civilization of the two countries is like comparing heaven and earth.' Cyrus thought as he was at loss. He also finds it amusing because he felt he had travelled through time from medieval times into the industrial era.'

When the moon was high up above at the starry night skies, the travel has been quiet so far, many of the exhausted mercenaries have fallen asleep. Only the drivers of vehicles have fought hard to try not to sleep with their eyes hardly can tell that they are awake. Only Cyrus and Krystal remained alert while they observe the road ahead of them in silence.

Maybe because the environment around them was quiet and dark, the two unconsciously haven't talked for a while and both didn't find it disturbing as both enjoyed the peace, while the sound they could only hear was the fast hooves of the demi-beasts and the wind noise.

A minute later, the brows of the two twitched as the looked ahead of them. Soon, they saw another convoy of dark wagons speeding towards them. But because the world was dark, the two hardly identified the speeding wagon. Normally, the two wouldn't act nor would care if this speeding wagon came running towards them as they believed that they will pass through them. But things are not simple as it may seem, as both Cyrus and Krystal sensed multiple cultivators that have a strength of Knight ranks inside the wagons of the convoy ahead of them using their spiritual sense.

It's a good thing that their spiritual sense can detect any live beings from fifty-meters radius away from them. With that distance far away from them, the two can prepare if things get complicated as soon as that carriage arrived.

But soon enough, when Cyrus and Krystal's convoy of wounded mercenaries entered the spiritual sense of the knight ranks, they suddenly sped up towards them. The two obviously quickly sensed the change of their speed in which alerted them.

"I don't doubt that's the night gang." Cyrus indifferently said as he summoned Lynae out.

"Let's see how they will act first if they are stupid enough, they will just past right through us, however, if they are intelligent enough, they would chase us if they noticed the weak auras of mercenaries behind us… But that intelligence would send them to their own demise quick." Krystal snickered as she put her dominant hand on her waist and waited for the speeding wagon.

Soon enough, the two quickly noticed and saw the people inside that speed black wagons.

Stupid sharp gazes were directly looking at the two like a tiger ready to pounce the b.u.t.t of it pray on the ground, not realizing that the 'pray' was another predator that eats tiger.

But because the two convoys of wagons are speeding in their own direction, the two convoys passed through each other side by side fast without even had a chance to observe the people inside those wagons. But these people were not normal human, but full of cultivators at knight rank and they easily sensed and saw the people inside the wagons behind Cyrus and Krystal.

*Kreeeeeek~!!!*

Soon a screeching sound of braking wheels of the black wagons penetrated the silent night which shook the sleeping wounded mercenaries and also made Krystal smile in disdain. "Alright, since I have the longest range between the two us, you stay here and drive while I'm playing at the back." She casually said then jumped at the back and leapt on multiple wagons arriving at the last wagon of their convoy.

Since things have already been decided, Cyrus casually sat at the driver sit without worrying. Since the lady wants to play, then let her play!

The screeching black wagons made a sudden U-turn burning the rubber plating's of the wheels as they drift before quickly speeding up to chase the wagons ahead of them!

"Quick quick! The intel was right, they really didn't die!" The leader of the squad of the Night gang shouted with an astonished look on his face.

"To think many of them are still alive! We have put too much effort and planning to get that plan going but this is the result? What an utter failure and waste!" Another high-ranking member shouted in anger.

"Quick, chase and kill 'em to death! We can't let them arrive in the city at all cost!"

Hearing the ranging roars of those people, Krystal laughed inside, 'These idiots.'

She puts her hand on her perfect waistline and because her figure wasn't too skinny, curvy, or fatty but very lithe, especially her revealing perfect t.h.i.g.hs were alluring that made the wounded men behind her in awe and in a situation where they have difficulty to move around.

She softly lifted her milky and soft right hand and with one finger casually opened on her hand, her crimson eyes suddenly looked glowing. As her black skirt fluttered due to the winds behind her back, her entire body seemed to glow with cyan particles of anima radiating from her body.

Usually, this can be hardly noticed by people when the sun is high up in the sky. But during this time at night and the moon hardly produced an amount of light in the surroundings, it made her figure looked divine.

"!!!"

Everyone on Krystal's back sipped a mouthful of cold breath as they were scared and stunned when suddenly, a hundred of floating crystal-like swords appeared above their heads! Among the mercenaries have his eyes wide open before quickly looking at Krystal. "Don't tell me! Miss Yuri is actually the infamous demonic tomboy?!"

"Aigo! This is too much! To think I would be able to see these absurd skills that I hardly believed when I heard about miss yuri's achievement!"

"Too powerful, too powerful ah!"

These wounded mercenaries, after having slept for a while and woke up due to the sudden encounter of Night gang felt a little refreshed and energetic and when they saw Krystal's skill, they exclaimed in both excitement and awe, completely forgotten the fact that her name wasn't Yuri.

If these groups were happy then the convoy behind them was frightened to death that they can't even recover quickly.

"W-WHAT IS THAT!?"

"Shit! Stop the wagon! STOP!"

The night gang panicked that took them minutes before realizing that they were the one in danger. However, as if Krystal would let go of this chance to make them evade her attacks.

"Too late!" Krystal snap her finger!

*Bang!*

The swords flew as they blasted the air above as it easily penetrated the sound barrier and quickly struck the convoy of night gang almost instantly!

The first one to die was the leader who quickly panicked and realized that their opponent wasn't someone that they could easily offend and fight head-on! A sword easily went through his throat creating a slit on his neck before falling to the side and crashed onto the ground.

He wasn't only the one who died on the spot, the majority of them died if not, they would be more severely wounded!

Soon enough, when the demi-beasts sensed the danger, it moved in a zigzag pattern with frightened roars as they went off-road.

"Tsk, so pathetic, I haven't even played them, yet they already died like this." Krystal sighed. She then swirled her lifted hand on her c.h.e.s.t level then turned to look at the dumbfounded men. She had seen many reactions like this in the past every time she revealed her strength to everyone, and those look on their faces isn't definitely the thing she would enjoy not even a bit.

She casually steps on the air, when her foot landed mid-air, a crystal sword materialized into the air. She flew and went ahead of everyone and quickly sat back beside Cyrus. She fell heavily on his side and crossed her legs in silence as her eyes drifted away from the fields.

Seeing the change sudden change of her attitude, Cyrus looked at her with mouth opened but didn't know what to say he then eventually gave up and just focused on controlling the demi-beasts as they sped up.

Hours of travelling on the road, the road ahead of them finally emerges to the main road towards the city of Alexus. When Cyrus saw the main road, his eyes were wide opened as the view of him were quite shocking.

Four lit paved roads connected to each other with multiple types of vehicles could be seen on the main road! A beast drawn carriages, wagons, and even a speeding vehicle the same type that Krystal has ridden before a steampunk style car but powered by anima! And although there aren't many like those vehicles pulled by fast demi-beast, there is still a considerable amount that could be seen ahead of him!

His eyes were lit, his mouth was gaped open. He didn't think that this is fantasy at all and felt a little modern!

Krystal on the other hand, when she had seen Cyrus dumbfounded expression on his face, she felt that Cyrus was indeed a country bumpkin that haven't seen technology yet! In which made her proud as she chuckled.

"Amazing right? Wait until you see the capital!" Krystal nudged Cyrus and gave him a blink.

At this point, Cyrus could already imagine what the capital city would look like. A modern soul like him wouldn't be surprised that him that much, he's just shocked how the contrasts of the medieval and industrial era are mixed together.

Not long enough, Cyrus quickly has settled down as if he's already used to it and his eyes weren't even showing interest anymore as if he had experienced the new world in front of him multiple times already and this made Krystal felt very inconvincible. 'Isn't this too fast to get used to!?'

But unlike Cyrus who got recovered quickly but his spirits inside were slack-jawed.

[What is this!? How come the world have changed this fast!?] Lily had her eyes almost popping out from her eye's sockets. An ancient beast like her haven't seen this before, although she had already seen Cyrus past, he hardly ever gets out from his house so there wasn't much interesting that would surprise her so much.

[Master, master, there are many delicious looking boxes that have wheels rich with anima ah!] Lynae on other hand were more focused on the anima powered vehicles as she drooled, these vehicles radiate a rich amount of anima similar to that of spiritual ores that she always likes to eat.

Not only Lily and Lynae were astonished at the new world in front of them, but Indra has also appeared behind them, [This world has indeed change… hmm?] Indra had his hands on his old beards as he muttered in amus.e.m.e.nt, he hasn't seen the development of the civilization of humans here even when he was a punisher back then, he hardly checks on people and have interest on them because to him, humans are just ants to him and as long these ants don't defy the heavenly laws, he wouldn't even bother to lift his eyelids.

As he gazed, he noticed something that caught his interest quick, because some of those drivers of anima powered vehicles were gorgeous women who had big bosoms, his eyes were sparkling with hearts almost popping out of them.

Soon, Lily kicked him on the b.u.t.t out of anger.
