Shi Chen coughed as he faced Cyrus, he did not imagine that this youth would be a lot stronger than him, despite knowing that Cyrus is definitely strong, he still couldn't believe that he can't break it since he had the advantage on cultivation rank.

Soon enough, he slowly stood up and with a *Bang!*, his body exploded in a murderous aura, a killing intent!

Cyrus was shocked seeing this, this killing intent he had felt this intent before.

"I tried to change, I change my personality, I adjusted everything just for her! And everything that I had done had turned into ashes! You don't know what's like to lose someone you love! And I won't forgive you for killing my fiancé!" Shi Chen roared in anger as he quickly leaped towards Cyrus as his foot exploded rocketing Shi Chen towards Cyrus.

This roar shocked Cyrus; he definitely did not know that this Shi Chen loved his fiancé because he believed in Éponine description of him. However, he did not expect that this man had changed himself just for his fiancé.

Cyrus felt bad for Éponine for not able hearing this roar, she did not look back and checked her fiancé if he really was not suitable for her if she really would not be able to obtain happiness with him.

And what hurts him is what Shi Chen had shouted at him, 'You don't know what's like to lost someone you love!' Cyrus anger soared at heights however, he held back.

I definitely experienced losing someone you loved, in my past life. I felt that I had something like that because right now, I had this sadness within the inside of my heart that contains pain and sorrow for those people who I had lost in that life. Cyrus thought of this as he tightly gripped Lynae.

Shi Chen was only a few feet away; he knocked his fist once again and threw his punch towards Cyrus. However, Cyrus had quickly caught this fist.

It exploded, however, Cyrus didn't let go his grip and using the back blade of Lynae, Cyrus smashed his sword on Shi Chen's shoulder!

His body had plumed down due to the extreme weight of the sword. Cyrus didn't let go of Shi Chen's hands.

"Cough! Cough! Why did you not kill me?" Shi Chen was weak as his body was slumped down, his voice was dry and hoarse, he didn't look up as his blood starting dropping on his face.

"Brother! You there! Don't kill him or else, you'll experience father's wrath!" Shi Chen younger brother shouted as he appeared on their back. Cyrus looked at them and saw the younger brother holding the princess with effort and comfort.

However, Cyrus did not pay attention to them as he looked down and stared down at Shi Chen.

"I know the pain… Of losing someone you loved… I had lost many people and all of them are my family and close to my heart, they died in murder and hatred, and I was left alive seeing those dead bodies of my loved one. You can't tell me that I don't know the pain of losing loved ones." Cyrus muttered but he was speaking to his heart, no, the right word for that is that his heart is speaking rather than his brain.

"I didn't kill your fiancé, she chooses that decision because she feared you, afraid of losing her freedom and happiness. That's the reason she committed suicide…" Cyrus explained.

"What a stupid reason… She didn't even bother to check me the second time and learned something about me. She should know that I gave up on everything just to be with her and enjoy our life together, away from this conflict in this world… I loved her when I had fallen for her… Now that's she's gone… I've lost what I got… haha, I feel like I'm more an empty vessel than a person." Shi Chen bitterly said as he laughed dryly.

Hearing this had made Cyrus extremely feel bad.

He took out three spatial rings and threw it on his little brother behind his back. Cyrus gave everything that he got from Éponine except the black orb.

He turned away and started running away.

"B-Brother! Brother!" When the light on Shi Chen's eyes had faded, his little brother cried and shook his body trying to wake him up. But the reality had struck him, he had lost his brother.

He created a massive explosion killing people inside the building, it wasn't intentional, and his guards had quickly dragged him away and apprehend him to avoid killing innocent people.

His hand was broken, however, he cried and cried a lot after losing his dearest brother.

Cyrus leaped fast and ran faster and faster, despite hearing the large explosion, he quickly went to the alleyways to avoid unwanted attention.

[Cyrus… That boy had committed a suicide.] Lily informed him while leaping on obstacles on the alley. This message had shocked Cyrus as he was dumbfounded making completely stopped.

"What the… This can't be happening." Cyrus was shocked as he couldn't believe that that guy just committed suicide and followed his fiancé.

[Well, it's happening now. You should go find your parents quickly. You might be able to avoid his father's anger. They are on the east. Go.] Lily issued as her voice vanished.

Cyrus quickly nodded and turned towards the east as he leaped and ran even faster.

I couldn't believe it.

That guy just killed himself just for a woman that doesn't love him. Why… Why the hell…

"Why the hell I had a feeling that I would be the same…" Cyrus painfully muttered to himself as he clutched his c.h.e.s.t while running and leaping. He couldn't understand himself anymore.

His emotions had started swelling and overflowing; it started to pain him and even made him affected in every action he takes.

This wasn't happening before, but now… After killing someone, he started realizing things, got conflicted and now, his unstable emotions had affected him.

While he was continuously running away, he had finally sensed his parent's aura. In fact, he might be the only one who can sense his parent's aura because he shares the same cultivation with his father.

An extreme explosion louder this time erupted on the center of the city.

The skies had immediately covered the entire sky with black smoke and flaming blue fumes and fire raging on the middle of the city. Cries of people had either turned away, went back to their houses and ran away as far as they could.

[Cyrus, quickly shut your anima off! He is already finding you using spiritual sense!] Lily's voice quickly warned him.

He sealed his ten gates making him like a normal removing his anima on his surroundings.

But because of that, his external senses were cut off, meaning he lost tracking his father. However, he kept running where the signal came from.

"WHERE ARE YOU DAMNABLE CHILD!" A loud roar echoed in the skies, and Cyrus was pretty sure that that was Shi Chen's father, the lord of this city, and the patriarch of the Shi Clan.

"I'm pretty sure mother and father had heard that… I had to follow them fast!" Cyrus muttered to himself as he comes across with obstacles, well, pretty much, he is doing some parkour.

He was swift and fast, and soon enough, he saw two familiar figure across the street.

When he got out from the alleyway and saw that these two people are not his parents but another familiar figure. It was the kid, Xiao-Fang with his brother.

"Master! You're alive." Xiao Fang shouted in amazement.

Above the skies, a person flew out with his body covered in blue flames as he created a streak of white lines as he was blasted in supersonic speed.

"Huh? Is that our lord!?" Xiao Fang cried in alarm.
