"Explain it to me, how did you know that kind of stuff?" Shane glared with a serious look on her face, she was frowning, this look made Cyrus think of her previous mother that he can't remember, there was a feeling urging to hug her. But, and he could tell that she is currently angry.

Remembering her mother from the previous life made Cyrus to be startled but he could only smile wryly and sighed.

"What are you sighing about?!" Shane furiously asked her son as she stretches his soft cheeks.

"Ouch! Ouch!"

This really scared Cyrus when he heard that. In this world, the strength of demi-humans has far outstripped the strength of normal humans; they also had the capability to use inner energy or to say mahika, which normal humans could not do.

So if he received a single slap from her mother, and remember, her level is something that Cyrus could only look up to, for now, if he was slapped by his mother, then that slap would release an incredible amount of strength to the point that he would literally fly into the air!

As she looked at her son, she looked angry outside but inside she was incredibly worried!

She has many questions deep inside of her thoughts like, how did her son would know something like that? He is only two years old! Therefore, that is impossible for him to learn something like that, only if he learned it from someone…

However, what really shocked her was that every time she looked on her son's eyes, she had this incredible feeling that as if she was looking to a person who has the same age as her, she could feel Cyrus maturity but he does not act as one.

But this is not the issue here!

Cyrus was her only son and loved the most, of course, her sister too, Clair. However, since Cyrus is younger, as a mother, she is extremely protective towards her son!

Knowing such things is not really a problem, but what if… he was curious about it, what if he got addicted to the feeling of it?

In addition, what if, he is being avoided by the people from having friends and does bad stuff? His future is at stake here!

She was incredibly worried about it!

Suddenly, she remembered James.

James is always close to his children, he loved them both and always like to tell some stories of their adventure, he also liked to joke around and sometimes even go far to talk about vulgar things but in disguise, making him pretty clever, even Shane is quite amused to it.

Grabbing the shoulders of her son, she tightly holds him and stared at Cyrus, "Is it your father!?" She shouted in anger.

This made Cyrus startled, of course, James will eventually come to her mind, after all, he could also tell the secrets of his father's stories when it is obvious that he was disguising it, on the four of them only his sister, Clair would always fell for it, but he too had to act one to prevent some doubts.

Seeing this expression, Shane shook and instantly removed her hands away from her son onto her back, her furious face turned to painful look instantly, "I-I didn't mean to... I'm sorry dear, I'm really sorry!" She said.

Tears flow down to her cheeks and eventually fell to the ground, she was angry! Angry at herself! She actually vent her anger towards his son, this made her feel worse, tightly gripping her hands, her nails penetrated her hands and blood slowly drips down.

Cyrus is still small, and he could not see that she was bleeding, but seeing her cry really hurts his feeling a lot, he really cannot tell her about him and that what made him feel frustrating. No one would want to see their mother cry, every child wants to see their parents happy and feel proud.

Secretly tightly gripping his hands, and enduring his feeling to overflow, he walked one-step closer to his mother and gave her a hug.

Cyrus' body is small, when he hugged her he could only put his hands on her legs, it will be weird if he puts his hands on his mother's bottom.

Shane was startled and the wounds on her hands suddenly were healed and slowly hug Cyrus.

Feeling her hug, at this point Cyrus suddenly spoke, "Mother... Actually, Father wasn't the person who had told me those kinds of stuff... It was only an old man who passes by and told me stuff about his adventure, he kept yelling loudly about those and stuff..." He said in a soft voice, but deep inside, he was frustrating, he actually lied! This made him slightly depressed!

Just to prevent a fight between his parents and a possibility of breaking apart, he would do it just to protect the happiness of their family. A divorce is common on Earth and Cyrus knew about it, even the reasons and the stages of it he too knew about it.

Even in the past, Cyrus' parents always fight even he got older there are many tantrums and yelling back at his home on Earth. He always steps in to stop those too, he loves his parents, they too loved him this is the fact, and the reason why his parents back on his world did not even fight anymore. There is a war of complaints but it still can be handled easily.

Hearing this, made Shane slightly knit her brows and ask in confusion, "Who is this old man that you spoke of?"

She fell on Cyrus lie and she didn't even bother to doubt because no matter what, she would always believe in her son and she will never doubt it!

Hearing it, Cyrus could not help to grip his hands tightly.

"Well, you see mother, that old man is really badly drunk! Moreover, when he saw me, he suddenly told me something about stuff and things! But he also told me about his adventure and didn't even told his name and casually left." Cyrus explained.

Shane looked at her son, and hearing about it, she despises that 'old man' and even feel that he was a creep and old geezer.

"I see I see... My dear child hearing such things at a young age!" She suddenly kneeled down and softly holds Cyrus' head with a worried look on her face. "Promise me, that you will forget those things okay? If you don't, hmph!" Shane snorted and smiled, before pinching Cyrus' nose.

"Okaaay~, Ow! ow! ow! Mother that hurts!"

"Blah! shut it, you are really cute that mother can't help it." She giggled, and then gave a kiss on Cyrus' cheek.

When he felt that tender kiss, Cyrus could not help to blush. It feels weird to him because his soul is already an a.d.u.l.t. His age is not that far from her age! Nevertheless, the feeling never across on a personal level, it is something like feelings only for family.

Seeing him blushed, Shane softly laughed and enjoyed pinching Cyrus' face even more, while Cyrus complains about it.

From afar, these two really looked a lovely mother and son playing under the shade of the tree.

Not long after, a girl at the age around four or five years old, having a brunette hair, wearing a scarlet red ribbon over her hair, a plain white and green fluffy dress, and carrying a wooden sword on her right hands while her beads of sweats slowly drip on her jade-like baby skin, this girl is no other than, Cyrus' sister, Clair.

While looking in her front away from her, she could see a mother and son happily playing around under the shade of the tree.

Clair couldn't help to smile brightly as she happily ran towards them, then she shouted and laughed softly, "Mother, Little brother! I finally found you, I've been looking around for some time now and remembering my little brother's favorite place, and look you two are really here!"

"Oh dear, my baby girl is finding her mother." Shane laughed and went towards Clair.

"Mother, I'm not a baby anymore!" Clair pouted while blushing, she might be in denial, but she actually liked it.

Looking at his sister, Cyrus could not help to laugh.

Not only Cyrus' talent is terrifying, but also his sister! Clair has awakened her power at the age of three, which made her talent high-class on the continent, and because of that, her mahika manifestation and her sword fighting skills are excellent! This made Shane and James shocked but also happy! Even proud to be exact!

Her skills are beyond amazing, she once took down two massive bandits and those bandits are cultivators and had the strength of elementary rank, but with a single flash of her sword the two died on the spot, she had killed someone without hesitation!

Her killing someone did not give her an unpleasant feeling, she did not felt being guilty because the only reason she killed those two was to save her two childhood human friends, she even had given a satisfying reputation on the village and kept praising her.

She is a loving character, but sadly she is also cold-blooded, she never hesitates to kill someone if they did was wrong and breaking the peace of the society.

Both James and Shane are very proud of these two children because they had terrifying talent; the two ought to have a bright future and will always be their source of proudness and happiness.

In addition, the relationship between brother and sister, Clair recognized and happily supporting her brother's achievements and dreams while Cyrus happily supports his sister and even idolizing her!

He started idolizing her because he personally witnessed his sister killing someone, without hesitation with a single flash of her sword; she already had decapitated the two heads of those bandits!

At first, he was terrified of her, and even felt uneasy about her afraid that if he made her angry, then it would be the worse nightmare for him!

However, as time goes by, the idea of it eventually faded away since he knew and felt that Clair also loved him dearly, she is even afraid of hurting him; she would rather hurt herself than hurting his brother. She had always been supporting and loving him.

"Why are you laughing little brother? Wait… don't tell me, am I still a baby?" She asked in fright while Shane pinching her face. Her voice was funny but and so her looks.

"No, Big sis will always be my big sis! In fact, in my eyes, sis is like a goddess itself!" Cyrus laughed.

"Little brother~~~, Big sis will always treasure and love youu~" Finally escaping on Shane's grasp, she quickly arrived on Cyrus' side and quickly hugged him.

"I'm too big sis! I'm going to protect you and prevent bad guys defiling my beautiful Sister!" Cyrus laughed and sweetly hugged her back.

"Awwww~ Little brother, then, I would choose a good wife for you okay? Hehe." Clair giggled.

Wife already!? Sis, you're thinking way too advance! Cyrus smiled wryly.

At this point, Clair could not resist anymore and quickly rubs her sweaty face on Cyrus's cheeks.

Seeing her children being close together, Shane felt extremely happy with a satisfied look on her face she was surprised that these two could easily get along despite that these two had a little amount of time being together, Clair had been devoted on training especially on sword arts spending more time with her father, while Cyrus is still learning the basics back home and usually always with his mother.

"Have you finished training with your father?" Shane finally asked with a smile on her face.

"Yup! Also, father had told me that I had to start cultivating now and he also wants me to learn it from you before he could further teach me about sword techniques!" She said as she let go of Cyrus and went towards her mother once again, Shane took a handkerchief and wiped Clair's sweats on the face and her neck.

"You really have trained hard! Look how sweaty you are."

Seeing his mother and sister, Cyrus could not help to sigh, these two really looked identical, but his sister's personality had taken to his father.

"Mother, you're going to teach me to cultivate right? And have my oath?" Clair asked as she looked towards her mother.

"Yup!" Shane replied.

"Oath?" Cyrus with a confused look on his face, when he was skimming information on the books that his mother gave to him, he didn't find making an oath, but he knew what it means to cultivate.

Shane looked at her son and thinking for a while she suddenly spoke with a bright look on her face, "Perfect! Cyrus my dear, you will learn how fights between demi-humans like and since I know my son is very intelligent this would be useful for you!"

Cyrus nodded, deep inside of his thoughts he was very happy!

He had been dreaming of learning further about magic because in his previous world when he was just a child he liked to fantasize a lot! Moreover, when he saw his sister fighting he had the urge to do that too and fight alongside with her, no, even with his family!

"I see! My little brother will see me cultivate. Why don't you try it with me? I know my little brother had amazing talent! Then I'll do my best!" With a burning flame in her eyes, she said it with excitement.

"That's a good idea, but son, if you still can't do it, don't force yourself okay?"
