Why must I have to suffer this way?

This is the question that Shane asked to herself as she held her mother's cold, withering hands. Her eyes were blank, vague of any colors; it was like a void, shrouded in darkness and cold like nothing else.

However, soon, this darkness within her eyes had returned to its color, Shane stood up as she looked down; she stared at her fist as she clenched it tightly.

"I could feel my power increasing... So this is my mother's cultivation technique and her strength..." She muttered in an apathetic voice.

Right now, Shane's one and only love one had died.

In this world and in her life, there is no one that can save her from this darkness within her heart, the only one right now that can save her... Is only herself.

As they prepared themselves, the guards peeked onto their defense as they stared at the dead bodies on the door; their bodies were either burnt or shredded apart due to powerful electricity and blastwave earlier.

Seeing this horrible sight, everybody tensed up as they stared at the person who did that kind of action, to their shock.

It was their princess, Shane!

"Hmph! To think that she would pass down that cursed technique." The king loud and domineering voiced echoed throughout the quiet and cold hall of the throne.

"..." However, Shane became deaf ears to what he had said, as she immediately lifted her arms.

Seeing this, some of her stepsiblings had noticed this action and when the thought came into her mind she cried in alarm, "Not good everyone! Run!"

However, it was too late for everyone; Shane immediately materialized an extremely high and potent level of lightning essence on her palms creating a trident spear!

*Bzzt!*

As the strands of electricity danced around her arms towards the trident on her hands, Shane took a single step forward and bent her body as she threw the spear towards everyone.

"Shi-"

Before everyone could react, the lightning fast suddenly arrived at their front; the defense on the outer part was flattened apart, as their body could not withstand the pressure of the spear that it emits.

The trident traveled towards the center of everyone before exploding in the middle in an extremely bright and intoxicating light that could blind everyone.

The sound of an explosion occurred as the lightning trident exploded in a blast containing deadly electricity.

Everyone in the surrounding died in an instant as their body couldn't either withstand the pressure that made their body ripped apart or burnt alive due to the intensity of energy that trident have!

There was feeling deep inside of her heart that she wants to devour this darkness on everyone!

"Everyone one of you, brace yourselves, her demon's heart is activating! Kill that traitor!" Once again, the voice of the king echoed in the cold atmosphere.

Soon, his body engulfed in a terrifying aura that surpassed everyone in the human realm! If one focused on his aura, one can notice that the space around him is distorting as if he owned the space itself!

Not long after, his sons and daughters exploded in their mighty aura as the pressure it built in this room is extremely suffocating to everyone in the mortal realm!

Not only them but also his concubines had also joined the fray followed by their trusted generals and other high officials!

With this, everyone's morale grew higher and higher as they thought that, the possibility of winning is extremely high!

"Aragghh!" Those soldiers and guards roared as they fighting spirit grew higher as their puny aura compared to the other high officials exploded into the air.

Before the king could roar to attack Shane, everyone else quickly used their powerful skills and attacked Shane head on!

This form is her second supreme element mode, the gravity mode!

The space on her surrounding suddenly warped, and to those who tried to attack her head on in her 20 feet radius, in their demise, they suffered in the crushing pressure as they quickly plummeted into the ground!

Shane's both hands straightened as if it was her swords, soon, on her fingertips, she focused an extremely high amount of gravity essence.

When Shane suddenly moved, the pressure on their body stopped and when they are about to attack Shane or either retreat. They noticed that Shane vanished on her position!

In a single flash, in front of one of the soldiers, Shane suddenly appeared as she swiftly yet slowly wave her hands pass from that soldier.

In to his demise, his body was not sliced but ripped apart instead! Killing him on the spot!

Soon, a black smoke omitted from the dead body and Shane was s.u.c.k.i.n.g this smoke in terrifying speed!

Sensing that her strength slightly increased, Shane stared at the soldiers and guards on her surroundings.

"E-Eek!"

Shane disappeared on her position again as she appeared to another person and killed it on the spot.

Soon, Shane danced around the hall as she leaps on space and teleporting to soldiers and guards one after another. To everyone, she seemed like a demon dancing while killing everyone as if their life is worth nothing; it was terrifying to everyone especially when she was s.u.c.k.i.n.g a dark smoke coming from the dead body.

Seeing her killing frenzy, the king clutched his fist, "This is the monster that I created..."

Soon, thousands of guards and soldier had tried to kill her due to her atrocious actions against the king and the kingdom, however, everyone died on the spot, river of blood flowed on the floors, and the air on the surrounding turned foul and unpleasant to breathe. Even her siblings that hated her joined the fray.

However, like everyone else, not all of them lasted a minute as they died in one or two exchange from her. Their deaths did not feel anything for Shane, for her, it was nothing, even if they are siblings by blood.

It was this moment of life, which no other than her mother gave her limitless of love towards her. And this kingdom that was praised with novelty, peace, and prosperity became hell to her, as she realized that this place is a cradle of demons.

She had killed thousands of guards of the palace that tried to stop her in a single wave of her hands, her body had been drenched in blood, and however, this is not her blood as for she is not wounded. It was the blood of the people she had killed.

Soon, hours of everyone's struggle... All of them died.

As Shane pierced the heart of her last stepmother, in a single wave of her hands, she threw that dead body away from her after she had completely s.u.c.k.e.d the dark smoke containing inside that body.

With her dead and cold eyes, she stared at only one person on her front.

It was her father, the king.

"You've successfully attained and control the demonic path of cultivation." The king said, however, his voice was not cold, nor domineering like before.

"Shut your trap, I don't want to hear your bullshits" Shane coldly stated as she stood up in front of her father.

She didn't take action like the way she did to others, because she knew, no matter how hard she tries there's a slight chance that she could defeat her own father, as for he is three realms above her and he had gained multiple insights in dao of gravitational force and law of force as well as law of gravity, this insights that he had gained was so powerful that he could create a void and tear the space.

"Now, now let's kill each other to our sword arts as for you cannot defeat me in any other means." The king gripped the grip of his saber sword as he distanced himself.

"..." Without saying anything, Shane lifted her right hand and the ring on her finger glowed in a light before a long sword appeared as she grabbed it tightly.

It was that day that she and her father had a deathmatch day and night, day after another, weeks from another until five months had passed before the result of their fight had finished.
