"What? You aren't coming with us?" Chris blinked in wonder. Since Max didn't have any relatives or friends in this city, Chris had assumed he will tag along with them to the villa. Was he wrong?

"Nah, I mean you guys are a family. It would be too much to shift there with you permanently." Max waved his hands and grinned, "Tho I will visit a lot, heh."

"You were overthinking it. But, I guess now you opted, it's fine." Chris sighed, "And you are always welcome to the house, of course."

"You have said it now, heh." Max laughed, walking beside Chris as the two walked out of the infamous Stark University.

Although the enrollment process turned out to be kinda anticlimactic. Chris was looking forward to it too… sigh, what a shame.

"Chris! Tell us where we are going!" Cathy shouted in an angry voice as she punched him on his chest. Her lithe hands barely tickling him with their feeble force.

"I will, I will." Chris chuckled, and allowed her to massag- i mean beat him up.

"Brother Max, you tell!" Cassie saw Chris wasn't telling and she quickly turned to Max who was sitting on front seat while looking out of the window as their cab blurred past the magnificent architecture and civilians of C-Grade Cities.

"Hmm, I am not in mood to tell heh. Maybe I will tell if you can beat me in FISA." Max scoffed, ignoring Cassie's annoyed whinings.

"Tsk," the sisters scoffed and leaned back on the cab seats, looks like they won't be getting any answers. All they knew was Chris wanted to give a 'surprise'.

Soon their cab reached a big gate, the buildings and structures had decreased by a huge margin and replaced by beautiful sceneric beauty of the sea shore and beaches along with peaceful gardens where some beautiful little birds chirped in a calming melody.

The gate had a modest board hung with decent decors, it read 'Blue Pearl'.

The gates were barred by a retractable long metallic barrier, two tall and muscled guards standing beside the big guard room.

A cigarette in their hands as they smoked while chatting without too much alertness in their guarding duty.

Chris's cab pulled up in front of the barrier and honked the car horns, attracting the attention of two guards who looked at the yellow coloured cab in annoyed irritation.

"Yes? If you are lost, please turn on the location and use gps services. Don't disturb us." one of them scoffed while glaring at the taxi driver.

"Not lost. The customer gave this address, house number 15." however, ignoring their glares and looks, driver yawned while tapping on the steering wheels, "Now I am getting late, lift the barrier."

"Such audacity! Who are you to act this way, bastard?!" looks like the disregard of driver for their threats pissed the guards as one of them caught driver's collars and shouted.

"Just a cab driver. I am just driving where my customer want me to." the driver swatted away the hands off his collars and repeated, "So, lift the barrier. Please."

It looked like the guard had much more to say, but, Chris was not in mood to witness this juicy drama of a puny driver disregarding a guard of prestigious Blue Pearl estate.

"I am the one who told him to drive here. I have bought a house here. House 15." Chris lowered the windows of cab and said calmly, "Name is Christopher Swarts."

"..." the guards glared at driver one last time and turned to Chris, "You? Bought a house here?" they asked in ridicule.

"Are you deaf?"

"You!!" the same impulsive guard moved to hold Chris but his hand was soon intercepted by the window which was seemingly rolling upwards. His strong muscly hands were easily crushed by the raising fast glass.

"Argh!" he shouted in pain, his accomplice coming forward to assist him in freeing his arms.

"You are a guard of this estate, no? Check with your superiors. Or you are too dumb to think of that?" Chris scoffed, lowering the windows again and freeing guard's stuck hands as he fell back on his butt.

Chris ignored the nasty glares of two guards who seemed to be at a loss of what to say. Sure they could call Chris's words to be bullshit. But, they had no proof nor any strength to that as Chris's calm and confident temperament when dealing with them already left them both unsettled and restless.

Deciding to get back at Chris after proving that he was lying, they got up from the ground and called their superior who was incharge of maintaining records of ownership.

"Mam, there is a young man here of name Christopher who is claiming to be owner of house no. 15. Should I drive this fake owner out?" contradicting to his irritating voice while with Chris, guard spoke in a respectful tone to his superior.

"Huh why is there need to check, miss? I remember the owner of that villa were the Gellers." guard's polite voice asked to his miss, "Oh? They sold it? I see…"

"Alright…thank you miss…yes, I will be polite to young master Christopher." guard had now completely shed all of his arrogance as he spoke in a dull and despairing tone.

He quickly turned to Chris and began to apologise for his ignorance and stupidity. This guy really knowed how to boot lick, didn't he? Chris mused with a chuckle.

"Barrier." not letting his amused smirk on his face, he gave a short reply and rolled up the windows.

"O-Of course! Gary raise the barriers, you fool!" the short tempered guard shouted, pushing his accomplice towards the big guard room which housed the barrier's electric controls.

"Good dog." the cab driver scoffed and pressed the accelerator as soon as the barriers were raised. Now finally looking at the driver, Chris couldn't help but think that this guy didn't quite suit to be a puny cab driver.

His face was attractive with fair skin and sharp jawline. With lean and defined muscles on his body, he didn't quite look like a weak man either. With his face, he can easily be an idol or actor, if not, a pretty gigolo of a rich sugar mom was also possible.

But, leaving all that, he was a cab driver…?

"Sir, we have reached house number 15. 109$ please." the cab driver pulled over a big villa which had number 15 boldly written on the front.

"Hm, you are a great driver. Can I have your number for later?" Chris transfered the amount and asked, "Later for being my driver, of course." he quickly added in case he was misunderstood by others.

"..." the driver looked at Chris again, tapping his chin in thought as if he was contemplating some very important life decisions, after a minute or two of deep thoughts, driver nodded slightly.

Taking Chris's premium phone without a change in expression and dialing his number. "Alex." he said and turned on the car, pressing the accelerator after a short nod to Chris.

'Interesting.' Chris looked at the blurring cab for a second before turning towards his new villa.

'T… This is mine… ?' no matter how many changes and upgrades he went through, Chris was still a young man who used to be at the bottom of the foodchain, surviving off some pocket changes dropped by the higher-ups of the society.

Looking at the royal, huge villa his reaction was similar to when he had first found that his system was real rather than an ingenious prank. An utter shock and surprise, along with boundless delight.

He, who used to live in a single room creaky and beyond shitty apartment was supposed to be the owner of this villa- or rather, a palace?!

In simple words if Chris had to define this stupendous villa it would be, enormous and magnificent. The details were intricate and perfect with seemingly not even an speck of dirt on the pearl white material of this villa, even when it seemed to stretch to infinity-figuratively, of course.

"Why are you so surprised, Chris? You bought it so you should have seen it before too, right?" Max asked in a tease, smiling at the perplexed and embarassed Chris.

"Why wouldn't I be surprised? It seems so magnificent face to face, that bastard really sucked at clicking pictures." Chris quickly hid the embarassing expressions off his face and made a bullshit, yet somehow believable excuse.

After all, he was sticking with the mysterious friend story, wasn't he?

"Sure sure~ let's go in now!" Max pushed open the door directly.

"C-Chris… this… is ours really?" Cathy whispered softly while Max was busy showing off like a main character of a novel.

Chris turned to look at his sweet and cute sister, feeling the sense of deja vu. It felt as if it was just a day ago he had shifted into that luxurious penthouse, now they were here.

Chris laughed, "This is just the start, Cath."

'We are destined to go much farther with the help of the system.'
