"Ria, Ron!" soon another group entered the bar, dressed in similarly decent and branded clothes like Ria and Ron.

"Lily! Andrew! Cedric!" Ria cheered, running towards the new arrivals to greet them. Whispering amongst themselves, the new arrivals soon reached the booth and sat on empty seats.

"Whoa, are you really the same Chris?!" Lily asked in shock after looking at Chris up close. Cedric gave an amused glance while Andrew didn't bother with it.

"I suppose," Chris shrugged, there were many things that changed but he was indeed the same Chris, at least for now.

"Wow... how did you get so rich so soon?" Cedric asked in awe, "You used to be such a poor bastard in our-"

"I started a company with a friend. Look at tomorrow's sales ranking of the fest, you will know the name of the company." Chris interrupted coldly, with a cold and chilly look in his eyes.

"Oh~ I see," Cedric scoffed and turned his head to chat with Max.

"You are Maximus, right?? It was a brilliant idea to think of a bar here!" Cedric flattered with a sly gleam in his eyes.

'Hah, pathetic bootlicker.' Chris scoffed, remembering this pathetic bootlicker who acts like a tame cat in front of higher-ups and like a tiger with lower.

"I just wanted a place to drink in peace." Max shrugged and turned away, indicating that the chat has been ended. After all, that bootlicker thought he can get close to Max after talking rudely with his best friend? Hell nah.

"Heh, drink in peace or pick girls easier, you horny bastard?" Cathy as usual didn't hesitate from taking a jab at Max when the opportunity presented itself.

"Why do you care, bitch?" Max glared back, ready for another round of stupid bickering. Luckily Chris was there to separate them from tearing each other apart.

"Well anyways, long time no see Catherine!" Lily tried to start a conversation and elevate the awkward silence.

"Indeed," Cathy sighed, "Some stuff just came up for some years and we all grew apart."

"It's fine! Now we are all here, let's play games!" Lily suggested and continued to suggest, "Choose one, Never Have I Ever or Truth and Dare."

"Ring of Fire??" Andrew suggested with a grin however Ria quickly shut him down and chose to play NHIE.

"So, the game in which we drink if we had done the thing said, no?" Andrew asked to confirm himself and then the rest nodded.

"Okay! I am starting an easy one. Never have I ever had friends with benefits." Ria asked with a shrug and looked around to see who was drinking.

"Hmm~" Max let out an amused hum and picked up a glass of scotch, drinking directly and was also soon followed by Cedric.

"Never have I ever been to a strip club," Ron smirked and eyed Andrew and Cedric, who rolled their eyes and drank a gulp of booze again, Max as expected, drank as well.

"Never have I ever lost virginity," Cedric suggested this one, looking directly at Chris however Chris ignored the look and drank from the glass. In the end, except for Cathy, everyone drank.

"Chrisy~ No need to lie, it's fine if you haven't. Don't lie in the game," Cedric smiled and requested politely and gently, however, his eyes were full of mockery.

"I am not lying. I got a gf, unlike you who gets rejected by everyone you try on." Chris shrugged and chuckled in a neutral tone, trying hard to not break his composure and scoff.

"You!!" Cedric raged, grabbing Chris's collar and trying to pull him up however he failed easily, "Bastard, you dare pull that?!"

"Why? Aren't you still pissed off that Cath rejected you?" Chris tilted his head and asked, while also nudging away the hands on his collar with no change in his expression.

"Hah, I am not of course. I am not so petty to hold a grudge for 4 years. Also, it was her loss to reject." Cedric shrugged carelessly, making it sound like Cathy was the wrong one when she had simply rejected him 4 years ago.

"Oh? Indeed I was very wrong in rejecting you, please forgive me, sir Cedric." Cathy rolled her eyes and hissed sarcastically as if she will date a piece of shit like Cedric.

"You bitch, acting arrogant to me when you literally asked me for a loan." Cedric scoffed and Cathy grew silent. The situation 4 years ago wasn't good with many loans, they had no choice but to take a little drastic steps.

"We repaid in a week, no?" Chris pushed Cedric back on his seat and asked coldly, his aura starting to emit from his body.

"Calm down Chris," Cathy who was unaffected by the aura, felt nothing weird and proceeded to comfort Chris while the rest of the people on the table stiffened, their bodies freezing under the pressure.

'Aura...?' Max's eyes widened and he looked at Chris in shock, no way Chris was awakened as well...how...?

'Why is he fine?' Chris looked at Max who was seemingly unaffected by aura as well, however, Chris knew the reason wasn't the same as it was with Cathy.

"Y-Yes," Cedric managed to mumble while Chris continued to stare at Max, both in shock.

They maintained eye contact a little longer and then said at the same time, "We will bring more drinks, wait here."

Saying that the two got up and walked away, leaving the rest of the group shocked and bewildered. All except Cathy were taking deep, ragged breaths as if a heavy weight was suddenly lifted from their chests.

"I will come too!" Cathy tried to follow the two but was shot down by Chris, "No, talk to our classmates. We will get the drinks."

Chris turned back and pulled back his aura, walking towards the counter alongside Max. His mind racing with countless thoughts and overthinking

He himself had got the awakening pill from the system... maybe there are more...?

Of course, Chris felt it was ridiculous to think there could be many more overpowered systems like the one he had.

But, he wasn't delusional enough to believe that he was the only being in the whole world who deserved this magical boon either.

"One martini with olives and a non-virgin mojito, also some tequila shots." Max sat on the counter chair and ordered the bartender he had hired.

Chris was suddenly roused from his thoughts by Max's order and he sat beside Max, watching as the bartender began to make their cocktails.

He wanted to begin the conversation... really did, however, he had no idea how to begin. The person, Max he thought to be an easy-to-read and goofy person was seeming hella mysterious now.

With an attractive smile on his face, Max delved deep in his own thoughts silently.

Soon the cocktails were served, unable to keep his nervousness in check, Chris gulped down two tequila shots directly and opened his mouth...

"You are awakened as well, aren't you, Max?"
