"Brother, I heard there is a huge gaming zone too! We can play bowling too!" Cassie tugged Chris's shirt and cheered cutely.

Hearing her heartfelt request, Max also stroked his chin in thought and nodded, "Good idea. There must be billiards and drinks too. I also heard that X-Fun is one of the best gaming zone's out of all C-Grade Cities."

Interested, Chris hummed, "Well Cath, you don't deny your cute sister, would you?" he rubbed Cassie's head and turned her puppy eyes look towards Cathy.

"Tsk. Using her for your own advantage, sly bastard." Cathy harrumphed at Chris, alas, there was nothing she could do except agreeing to Cassie…

…

Soon Chris and rest reached the huge gaming zone whose gate was wide open, many other people of various ages were entering and exiting simultaneously.

A huge board was hung overhead, it read the name of the gaming zone, that was 'X-Fun'. The store was bustling and covered nearly half of whole floor in Phoenix Mall.

It went deep with countless games and fun machines that were being used by many people.

The lights were shining, the futuristic and modern aura of the gaming zone was strangely refreshing and exciting for the citizens of a backwarded E-Grade city like Chris, Max and sisters.

Each and every machine was enough to make their fibers tingle with excitement, even the cold Cathy was being attracted to some games unconsciously.

"Brother! Can I drive the bumper car?!" Cathy pointed at a huge arena like area where many colourful electric cars were being driven.

It was a classic game known as the Bumper Cars. The driver had a water gun attached on the front of the car and a hard cardboard target in air held by a pole behind the car.

Objective was to shoot the cardboard target and make it fall off, which would cause the attacked car to stop functioning. And thus, the last one standing in arena would be the winner.

There were currently 6 cars driving in the arena, each car seating two people. One to drive the car while the other would shoot the targets.

"Drive? No. You don't even know how to ride a bicycle, forget about the car." Chris scoffed at Cassie's request, however before she can begin to shed her trademark crocodile tears, he quickly continued, "But, you can use the gun." Chris smiled and rubbed her head.

"Heh. I will beat you easily, Chris. This will be the game I will finally beat you in!" confident in his driving skills, Max challenged Chris.

After all, even he was tired of losing to Chris in every game they play!

"Hah! Brother will win easily!" Cassie scoffed and mocked Max.

"Indeed, it will be impossible for that poor guy to beat me if its you and me in one team. So you and Max versus Me and Cath." Chris grinned at Cassie.

"That sounds even more impossible, Chris. This shorty and this dumbass, how can they beat us?" Cathy scoffed with good intentions.

Angry, Cassie stomped her feets and pointed her finger at Cathy, shouting, "Sis! I swear we will beat you easily!"

"You sound quite confident, huh? Max, you will buy me and Cathy drinks if you guys lose~" Chris placed his hand around Cathy's shoulders and smirked.

"Sounds good. I was craving some alcohol anyways." Cathy nodded.

"Well you will buy us- I mean you will buy me drinks and you will buy… anything for Cassie if you lose!" Max counter offered. After all, he knew how mediocre Chris's car driving skills were. His biking skills were quite good, but car? Nah, they weren't worth mentioning.

Alas, he had no idea that Chris's driving had increased leaps and bounds due to him absorbing Alfred's memories.

"Well, come let's go book two cars then." Chris shrugged and gestured Max to come along.

However, Cassie quickly tugged his clothes and reminded, "Brother! We have never come to this gaming zone before. Don't you think we need to make a gamers card first? I think that's how it works. My friend told me about this."

"Ah! Yeah, right. We got too excited." embarrassed, Chris scratched the back of his head and turned his direction to head towards the counter.

But who knew he would see some familiar faces here again!

On the counter where the credits for games were recharged, many people were standing in the queue. Yet Chris's eyes were only getting attracted to two silhouettes that seemed to be sparkling in this normal like queue.

Even a blind man could have guessed that the two were no small deal. And Chris actually knew who these two were.

It was Taylor and his girlfriend Alia, the couple Chris had met earlier in the purse showroom within this mall. Never he once expected that he would meet the two here again!

After all, what business could a suave second generation like Taylor have in the gaming zone that contained gentry of all the backgrounds.

There were lower middle class families, rich families, suave second generations and even some noble younguns.

Technically it shouldn't have been too surprising to see Taylor here, after all, the outer area of the X-Fun was nothing. It was the inner area that was called the playground of the rich.

Chris was merely surprised by the coincidence.

And talking of coincidence, one more occured suddenly as Taylor randomly turned around after sensing a gaze on him causing his and Chris's eyes to meet.

Taylor's eyes widened for a millisecond in surprise before it turned back to the normal emotionless one. He nodded to Chris in greeting, acknowledging his presence.

Chris also nodded back in greeting, his eyes glancing at the golden coloured gaming zone card in Taylor's hands.

However the coloring scheme confused Chris. The gaming zone's card was supposed to be reddish black in color rather than golden white like Taylor's was.

To satisfy his curiosity, Chris promptly walked towards Taylor who was also done recharging balance in his card.

"Hey, what a coincidence." Chris smiled and called politely to Taylor.

"Indeed. It was even more of a coincidence to see you in the theater too." while saying that, unexpectedly a smile creeped up Taylor's face. Which Chris had honestly believed was incapable of smiling.

Confused, Chris questioned back, "At theater? What do you mean?"

"I mean it was quite a show to see you guys fight over some puny recliners. I could have arranged a whole skybox for you if you had asked for it." Taylor shrugged, a smile was still on his face. Why? Only he knew why the hell he was smiling while bragging.

"Wha- You mean you were there too?!" unable to hold back his surprise, Chris exclaimed.

"Technically no. But we were watching you all from the skybox." Taylor smiled.

'Dude stop smiling already, it feels quite creepy now.' Chris held back from cringing out and maintained a straight face, "I hope we made it entertaining enough for you." he answered back with a tinge of sarcasm.

"It was entertaining indeed. The way your sister took care of that bastard's arrogant bitch was quite fun. I was impressed." Taylor's smile brightened by a single percentage at the mention of Cathy's way to deal with Kiara and rest.

"I see." Chris's eyes automatically narrowed at the handsome rich bastard, now he finally understood why the hell was he smiling like a fool. This bastard was impressed by Cathy? Like hell Chris will let him even close to her!

But, Taylor didn't seem to have noticed anything wrong with Chris's behavior and said casually, "Well I and Alia are going to go for bumper cars. Want to join?"

"No, we were going to get a card made for ourselves and then we will play bumper cars." Chris tried his best to keep his lips from twitching, "By the way, why is your card golden?" he changed the subject. He ab

"Ah. This is a golden card, it is a must to enter the innerzone of X-Fun." Taylor shrugged, "You need connections to get it, but since you gave me quite an amusing show in the theater, I will get you one for free." S jrb au

"Thank-" Chris smiled hearing his offer, however he was a bit hasty in doing that, since Taylor wasn't fully done speaking yet…
