The Villainess 'Simple' Life

Lyra teleported home after she got her sweets.

Lyra: "Thank you for pretending to be me, Emma."

Emma: "Miss! Please never do that again, if the duke and duchess finds o-"

Lyra: "It's okay, they'll never find out after all, I'm using magic on you to make you sound exactly like me and look like me. Hehe." With a wave of Lyra's hand, Emma turned back to her normal self.

Emma is a very loyal maid to the Duke's family, but most loyal to Lyra. When she was young, she had no hopes of living as her parent died and she had no where to live. The only option left was the street.

She had been living on the streets for at least a week before Lyra saved her. At first, Emma thought that the child was just trying to make her happy but Lyra insisted for Emma to go to her house. So in the end, Emma followed, Lyra was just too persisted.

And that's how Emma came to be with the Duke's family.

Lyra: "Sadly, we only got second place at the battle"

Emma: "That is still a good result as Rose Throne is still so young."

Emma is also a part of Rose Throne. She is one of the strongest member but had to stay home because Lyra's needed someone to pretend to be her and Emma was the only one.

Lyra: "I'm going to eat with my family now, it's almost lunch time."

After lunch, the Duke's family decided to go out for a little bit of interaction with the common people. Every once in a while, the Duke's family would go on the streets and talk with the commoner about their issues. This was very common for them as they felt that the interaction with the people bring more peace to the kingdom. Normally for high society, this was looked down upon as they think that talking to commoners wasn't worth their time but the Duke's family was different. And this is what made the commoner love and respect the Duke's family.

Lyra: "I'm going to go on my own for a bit. Can I?" The Duke and Duchess just nodded their head as they knew that Lyra was already proficient in magic and that she didn't need protection. But just in case, Emma went along with Lyra.

"Lyra, nice to see you again! Would you like something to eat?"

"It's okay Amelia, I just had lunch but thank you!" The common people adored Lyra as they felt that she as very cute and lovable. "Oh, and this is for you." Lyra then took something from Emma and gave it Amelia. "This is a bracelet for your newborn daughter. I enchanted it with magic myself, if anything happens , this bracelet should be able to protect him."

Amelia took the bracelet and thanked Lyra with all her heart. Everyone knew that Lyra was very good at using her magic. "Dear, if your ever hungry, don't forget to stop by."

Lyra: "Of course, your sweets are one of the best! I'm going now, bye."

Lyra started talking to more people and also handed out more gifts that she made herself. This was very heartwarming for the common people.

"I demand you to apologize! You stood in my way!" Lyra heard a commotion going on somewhere so she followed the sound.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't know. Please don't hurt me."

Lyra: "Noah of the Earl's family. I don't think you should act like that. Your giving noble people a bad name."

Noah: Wh-" Before he could finish his sentence, he realize who she was. Lyra Ainsworth Clarke, the beloved daughter of the Duke's family.

Lyra: "Nice to meet you too, Noah. It's bee a long time."

Noah: "Ni- nice to meet you too, Lyra. I have something I must do so pardon me." As he said that, he started walking away in a face pace.

'Kids these days' Lyra then too started walking away from the scene before she heard someone yell out miss.

Lyra: "Who do I own the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to?"

"I am thankful for you saving me. Thank you! If in the future you need anything from our humble family, please don't hesitate to ask. My name is Sophia Bailey."

'Oh my! I can't believe I would find her here. Sophia Bailey, the girl who has 5 magical ability. No one knew of her past. Who knew that she was a commoner before becoming someone high up in the palace. Should I recruit her to join Rose Throne?'

Lyra: "If you have an opportunity to be stronger, would you take it?"

Sophia didn't know what to say as she definitely want to be stronger but she doesn't know how.

"Of course, Miss"

Lyra: "If I give you a chance, would you take it?"

Sophia: "Of course!" Sophia knew that the person in front of her may look like a child yet Sophia can't help but feel like she's a grown a.d.u.l.t.

Lyra: "I've hope you say that."

Lyra use her power to communicate to Emma privately. 'Emma, prepare a change of cloth for her and take her to the guild. Tell Ice to train her and also give her an allowance like the other.'

Emma: "But miss, the Du-"

Lyra just told Emma to trust her and Emma couldn't do anything else but sigh. Emma was surprise that Lyra would suddenly take a strange child from the street and take care of her but Emma trusted Lyra so she followed her order. "Please follow Emma. I will come and check on you. Also don't tell anyone about this." Lyra said that with a nice smile but Sophia felt scared by that smile.

Sophia: "Thank you miss! I will definitely follow you in the future! May I get your name?"

Lyra just smiled and said: "In the future, you will."

They all went their direction and Lyra started heading to the guild that she was most curious about. Calming Knight "What a name." Lyra quietly murmur to herself.
