The Time When Me And My Family Went To Other World

After the villagers meeting I, Jivs and Metania were brought by Ti'oh, Captain and Elder Brontus closer to the river and we were made to start Ki Tempering as soon as we got there.

We started with some Ki Gathering, they did some weird dancing moves, but I went with the Asura Forma, Sword and Shield Style.

After half an hour of Ki Gathering I still felt the heat bearable, probably because of my Constitution has been increased a lot. When I was close to the one hour mark Ti'oh sneak attacked me from my left side, and said:

"You have gathered enough Ki for now, I am going to teach you the Forging Exercise next, since the quantity you absorbed won't be useful to you with only some fighting afterwards. Start moving very slowly, every single move should take as long as I am making, while you do it try to make the Ki flow inside your body apparent and make it obey you." he said after hitting me to a stop first and went and started some blocking motion with his left arm raised and his right one beside it, then turned around to the right, with the left arm lowered and the right beside it, but with the hand raised high, similar to a parrying motion of a strike, then the left hand forward and the right one slightly bent towards the head., just these three.

I started as he showed me and tried to make the energy inside me obey and stay on me, going towards where it was needed, in this case my arms and legs, so it does not boil all my organs and, especially, my brain from the overheat, it felt at first like a heat on my body body I started to find the nucleus of such energy, it was in my veins and arteries, so I concentrate and try to make it move like I want it to while doing the exercise Ti'oh showed me.

My blood started to feel like lava after a while, but it slowly started to go where I wanted, my muscles, tendons and bones were the main targets of the slow moving lava Ki.

After the first set of three exercises Ti'oh started to beat the hell out of me, but I kept trying to defend his heavy blows.

My body was feeling like my arms and legs were in an oven and my torso was in an blizzard. I was sweating buckets from the agonizing and weird feeling this was giving me, but if I didn't do it, I wouldn't be able to accomplish the defense against Ti'oh since I need to accomplish this slow movement while he hits my shield and sword, even my legs sometimes.

After I was done with the second set he kept going at me stronger so I gritted my teeth and ready myself to make the Ki lava flow stronger again. Ti'oh kept hitting me while I was completing the exercise for the third time. When it was the fourth round of doing this exercise, blisters started to form in my hands, but I kept going until the second exercise Ti'oh threw me in the river. This time he threw me by the riverbed so I don't end up drowning again. Unlike last time some steam and black smoke is leaving my body when I left the river, unlike before, I still had a feeling of being refreshed welling up on me.

"Start Ki Gathering again!" Ti'oh shouted towards me.

Today is going to be a long night it seems. I started the Ki Gathering with the sword and shield, again but this time it only took half an hour.

"Now begin the Ki Forging!" he shouted again while a flying kick came towards my left temple.

By the Seven Gods, block! We began with the intensity of the second set already and he kept pummeling me, I kept with the defense again. Trying to hold against him with burning Ki energy on my muscles and bones to withstand the whole ordeal, since he was now hitting against the my body too. This time I kept Ki Forging all the way towards the tenth set, my hands went further from the blisters and I saw them turning black, like someone covered in soot. My head was starting to process things a little bit slower, suddenly I was kicked towards the river again. When I got out of it there was steam coming out and I was dripping with some soot and water dropping from my body and armor, unlike before I felt exhaustion welling up inside, taking my strength away.

"Hahhhh..... hah...haaaaah... " I kept gulping air to feel better, but it was like there wasn't anything more to use and burn away as mean of energy to move this body, I look around towards Ti'oh and he stared at me again, with a deep fear inducing aura behind his back, like a wolf staring at its prey.

"Hah... hah....hah...." I lift both my arms without waiting for orders and went towards him.

He flinched while looking towards me.

"Hah...hah...hah..." I looked at him "Nor...Pro...Ba...Fam..." I kept staring at the wolf in front of me, I am going to Ki Gather to take this beast down, I swear! I started to feel the Ki coming from the ground towards me, it still made me feel completely filled with burning lava inside of me, but I am going to make this energy permanently here so I will always be able to take these beasts down and protect my family.

The bastard wolf kept dodging my Ki Gathering attacks, but he will be surprised when I get to him, yeah, that I promised.

When I felt the lava burning heat getting thicker and thicker I started to push it faster and faster, so I would also get stronger and stronger, but I was still missing that bastard wolf.

Suddenly it started to retaliate my attacks, I don't care, I will just get stronger from these, each claw attack it made towards me I would compress the lava energy inside and make it faster, that is why I am blocking all of these claw strikes coming towards me.

I am still getting beat up after half an hour from this bastard wolf.

"Protect Nor and the baby!" I shout and suddenly the burning lava compress until forming a mini sun on the right side of my heart! Suddenly the wolf turned into an excited Ti'oh with all his fangs showing in his mouth and he made use of my slash strength and threw me again towards towards the river.

I see everything going now on slow motion, I am flying while holding a cracked sword and shield, my armor was well dented everywhere, my whole body was bloody, such blood was really black in color for some reason.

Elder Brontus was throwing a fist at Jivs and Captain Vermont was parrying with his lance an attack from Metania, the night sky was really beautiful, but I am really scared of falling in this...

'Splosh, SPLASH'

"Hel... Help... Can't... Help" I scream while gargling some water, my legs and arms were really heavy this time, like four blocks of cement attached to me.

Suddenly I feel a familiar hand pull me out again from the water, it was Ti'oh.

After we arrived at the riverbed, I was feeling relieved.

"Hahhhh...hahhhhh...hahhhhh..." I was just breathing my body literally wasn't listening to me, my mind was quite clear, but I couldn't move to save myself if I wanted.

"Congratulations on breaking through the first phase of Ki Tempering for Warriors and forming your own Nucleus" Ti'oh said while approaching me from my side.

"Hahhhhh... long...? Was... fast?" I am still trying to breathe here, gulping lots of mouthfuls of air.

"Normally talented people are able to do it in one session of Ki Tempering, you did in three so not so bad." he said while snickering towards me.

"It was hard..." I said to Ti'oh "I can't move..."

"Stop, blabbing and just rest for now, tomorrow after you remake all the equipment broken today, we will start again at night, just rest for now, you need something to eat" he said while looking at me.

He went somewhere I can't see and brought back some soup in a whiskey canteen bottle and shoved down my throat.

It tasted like potatos and beef with some salt and pepper.

Really tasty, more than normal, my body must have exhausted all of its energy for now.

The sky was full of beautiful stars, completely different from where I lived, we couldn't see any stars from the light pollution in the night.

This world is so weird and full of weird people too, but I feel more at peace here, than o Sr there with way more people than this little small village of ten people, hope I can feel this way too with the merchants and be able to make a good living from this land and from my work.

The soup was amazing, but now it is gone. I was feeling a little better but I could barely move around...

'Thud' 'Thud'

I hear something falling close to me, actually two things.

"Now all three of you will get thirty minutes of rest, then you will spar against each other. Understood?" It was Elder Brontus speaking to 'us'?

"Jivs? Metania?" I asked since I can't even turn my neck around.

"Hey""Hi" I heard their greetings, looks like they are as exhausted as me.

"Are we going to spar after this?" I asked them.

"Yes, normally it is two against one when we spar like this, but it will probably change who will be defending on the fly." Jivs answered like he was without any patience to answer more questions.

"Metania, what does it means to breakthrough the first phase of Warrior Ki Tempering?" I asked her since Jivs was almost sleeping there.

"It is when we make the Ki condense and change to what the Warrior mostly understand as firepower or might of destruction they subconscious fears and admires the most." she said "It will form the first Nucleus of that power which will accompany you for life, enlarging as you breakthrough the other phases, eventually even becoming part of your body."

"Wowwwww, mine was shining and Fiery, what were yours?" I asked curious.

"Lightning" Jivs gave the most concise answer he could manage.

"Ice core." Metania said too, probably very exhausted as well.

We all laid there speechless, at least I was staring at the sky. After something like twenty minutes I was able to finally at least get up and go towards the river for some water, without weapons or anything else, just my trusty and dented armor, hahaha...

After I drank some of it, I filled the canteen with some water and went back an sat down.

"Who wants some water?" I asked.

"Me""Me" I heard both of them at the same time.

"Ladies first" I opened and dropped some water on Metania mouth and then some on Jivs, alternating between them when they would swallow, finishing the canteen.

"Sorry, but I am not going over there again"

No answer...

They slept.

Huh...

Ti'oh will kill me if he spars against me.

Huh...

I am counting on you, guys.

Then the three Masters came back again.

"We talked and wanted to change your schedule, you are not going to fight each other anymore." said Elder Brontus.

"Really?!" Jivs got up swiftly as if he was never tired at all.

"Yipee" Metania said while she excitedly started flying towards the starry night sky.

I am amazed by how much energy these fellas can still muster even after all that heavy lifting from earlier.

"Yes, you three are going to fight us instead." said Captain Vermont with a devilish grin in his face.

I was sure something was really weird when they said that there wouldn't be any more fighting today. I get up and pick up my trusty broken sword and shield, since they are very cracked, it looks like I will need to smelt a lot of materials tomorrow too.

"Now to explain the newcomer how to use your Nucleus since all you have to do is picture in your mind it spreading towards your body and equipment, this application is called Eruption and it is what is going to be executed today."

Suddenly Metania spear was covered in light Frost and Jivs bow and arrows started cackling from the lighting, I tried expanding the nucleus power, but my body and equipment only started glowing a little bit of red, I must really train this Eruption thing.

All three of them came towards us without previous warning, striking towards us three disciples.

So let the battles begin!
