The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

Feng Xi got up from her seat and walked behind Prince Jin, dr.a.p.ed her arms over his shoulders, and leaned her head down and kissed the side of his neck. Before looking at the cameras in front of her smiling. "I would like all of China to know that this here is my husband. He belongs to me and I belong to him. If anyone has any designs on my husband I hope you have life insurance."

Her words were landed in everyone's ears as if a bomb had just gone off. This was a huge scoop! There was a new official Princess in the Imperial Family and she just threatened every girl young and old! Feng Xi was basically saying to every girl in the nation if you think you can take my man away, you can try but be ready to return in a coffin! This was a blatant threat! The reporters all looked towards Prince Jin and then the Emperor to see their reactions to Feng Xi's words only to see that both men were smiling away at the young girl! This was their silent consent to what she just said! 

The reporters were going crazy. With the emperor's reaction alone it meant that Feng Xi was not just some married in girl, she was a very important person within the Imperial family now! She now had the power to actually threaten the masses without any repercussions. If it was anyone else they would have been dragged away by guards! 

Shutters clicked and all of a sudden the fact that Feng Shun was alive was no longer top news, it was the bold statements of the new Princess Consort! This was of course planned out by everyone else. It was to make the fact that Feng Shun was still alive a passing word. Some of the reporters may still report on it but Feng Xi would be the hot topic. Feng Xi did not mind this since she would be in the spotlight in six months' time anyways after their wedding which was sure to be flooded with reporters as well.

From there the news conference quickly ended as the reporters wanted to return to write their stories. Feng Xi and the rest also returned to Prince Jin's palace. After a good dinner, Feng Xi went to the garden to look up at the sky. 

The evening air was a bit brisk as fall was settling in. Feng Xi sat on a bench, her white dress fluttering in the wind. Prince Jin came over and put a coat around her shoulders. "After today you might just be the envy of every girl your age in the country"

"That's fine. I rather them envy me than plot against me. But I am sure down the road many will try to take up that spot as well. I mean there are still many concubine spots left. But that is if they could even step through the door first and if they did..." Feng Xi paused and made a scissor cutting motion with her fingers. "I'd leave with my Little Jin in hand. Actually this might not be so bad… I mean if I just cut him off and make him portable, I can take him with me everywhere." 

Prince Jin's face was pale as he yelled out. "Xi'er! Stop! Although he is your Little Jin he is still attached to my body!" 

Feng Xi smiled and gazed up at Prince Jin who was behind her. Grinning, she said: "Come sit next to me." 

Prince Jin did as she asked and sat down. Feng Xi moved her self on to his l.a.p and rested her head against his c.h.e.s.t. "Mmmm… This is my spot. This is where I belong. As long as I have you I do not care about anything else. Jin'er you have no idea how much I love you. After the accident, my love for you grew even more. We have only been together for about two years but it seems like I have known you for much longer than that. Thank you for walking into my life." 

Prince Jin smiled and hugged Feng Xi tightly kissing the top of her head. "A man could not ask for a better wife than you. I know that you love me and I love you just the same. Even your Little Jin loves you as well." 

Feng Xi reached down between Prince Jin's legs and patted Little Jin a few times. "Seems like he is in full love mode already!" 

"Xi'er please do not tease me while in the garden. I will still need to walk past all the female servants." Prince Jin pleaded.

"Fine! I won't, I promise. Let's just stay like this for a little while." Feng Xi felt completely safe in Prince Jin's embrace as she curled her body up and closed her eyes. 

No more than ten minutes passed when Prince Jin heard the sounds of soft breathing. He smiled and gently lifted Feng Xi up and carried her back into the palace. He sat her on the bed and helped her remove her dress leaving her in her u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r before laying her down on the bed and giving her a light kiss on her lips. After covering her with a blanket Prince JIn also got ready for bed. 

The next morning Feng Xi woke up feeling very refreshed. She had slept very well. As she stretched her arms she muttered to herself: "I guess I should go back to school..." She had planned to finish up school early, but because of all the problems, instead of applying for early graduation, she decided to just finish up her last year. Prince Jin was also of course going to go with her. Because she had companies she needed to attend to as well she had gotten permission from the academy to use the helicopter once a week to deal with business matters. They could even go back to school via helicopter now as well.

"You're up?" Prince Jin asked.

"Yeah… I need to pack, I plan to go back to school today, are you coming?"

"I already took care of that. I figured since everything was settled you would want to finish up school. I had the servants pack our bags for us." Prince Jin answered.

"Of course! I need to go to college and get a master's in business. If I don't I will not be able to stand tall in the business world!"
