The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

Emperor Tian couldn't help but look over at the sack that was tossed uncaringly on the floor but was still wiggling about. He couldn't help his curiosity and asked: "This is?"

"That?" Feng Xi turned around and gave Emperor Tian a bright smile and continued: "That there is my dear little sister. Ru'er can you be so kind as to let my sister out. It must be stuffy in her carrying sack. She has worked hard these past few days." 

"Yes, Young Miss." Ru'er did as she was asked and walked over and untied the top of the sack. What was revealed was a limbless n.a.k.e.d girl who had bruises all over her body. Her face was so smashed up it was hard to even tell who the person was. Ru'er held her nose and made a disgusted face as she said: "Young Miss, she smells like squid!" 

"Yes, that is normal since she has just gotten off work. It's fine if she stinks a little. Her job… as you can see is a little demanding..." Feng Xi said blushing slightly. Feng Shun and Emperor Tian stared at her in disbelief. They looked at the disheveled girl without arms and legs who used to be a young maiden, they both suddenly felt a chill run down their spines and both had the same thought. 'Thank god she's on our side...'

Feng Lan continued to mutter this and that as she spoke: "More! More! If you give me just a little bit more I will suck your..." Not wanting to listen to her voice any more Feng Xi walked up and smashed the sole of her shoe into Feng Lan's already battered face causing blood to flow from her mouth and nose. Feng Lan was so out of it she didn't even realize her mouth was full of blood as she gagged and choked on it while trying to beg for more. The more she was talking about the drug she was now addicted to.

Not paying attention to Feng Lan anymore, Feng Xi turned back to Feng Shun and Emperor Tian. Not caring for their stupefied expressions Feng Xi continued where she left off. "So we will announce that my father has passed away which means since he is a renowned general of China we will need to host a grand funeral. We will make a few trips around the capital. During that time we will secretly leak the kind of car I am in. Of course, this car will need to be reinforced so that it will not be so easy for them to kill me but you never know what they will attack me with. They have already used missiles to try to kill me and my father while in the helicopter, not caring that Jin'er was there as well. Whether or not they knew he was in the helicopter or not is another story. But more than likely they did. 

"During the funeral, we will need as many measures as we can built up to defend against pretty much everything. Now I can not say for one hundred percent sure that I will make it out of this unscathed but I can at least make sure to keep my life. I do not plan to get myself killed. So everything from the car to any defense on the car for the parade will be checked by my people." 

"Your people?" Emperor Tian was surprised that such a young girl came up with this plan but was even more surprised that she also had her own people! 

"Un… It's just a small group I put together. Roughly ten to twenty people. They were the ones who guarded my father while we were at the hospital and on the way home." Feng Xi explained.

"Then we owe these men and women my gratitude. They not only protected you and your father but also my son." Emperor Tian said with the utmost sincerity. 

That day when he heard reports that the helicopter that his son was in was shot down, he wanted to upturn the whole capital to find the culprits but his rage was quickly extinguished when he heard that one of the people was caught and was receiving a harsher punishment than he could ever imagine. Emperor Tian's eyes fell on the lump of flesh withering on the ground still gurgling through her bloody mouth. He now understood that the punishment this girl was receiving was far from humane. 

After thinking for a few minutes about the plan Feng Xi spoke of, Emperor Tian finally decided to add a few things. "If they are using missiles then we will need to come up with some countermeasures for that then. You will have three decoys of the same car in the funeral convoy. We don't want you to be an easy target. As our future daughter in law, you will need to be thoroughly protected. We will also keep a very close eye on Imperial Consort Yun as well. We will send people to make note of all her movements. Jin'er will also company you in the car. Although this might stop some of those who are behind the scenes from attacking, it will at least give us a peace of mind that Jin'er is with you."

"Mmm. I agree with the Emperor. I will also be in the car but we will not let anyone know that I am there. I will also assist your team with the checks. We will make sure all three of us come out of this unscathed." Grandpa Feng nodded his head and added his own adjustments to the plan. He might not be like he used to be when he was young, but he could still at least help if something went wrong. He still had strong expertise in many fields.

Seeing how concerned everyone was for her made Feng Xi feel warm. She looked at the two sitting up high, smiled, and said: "I will do as you say."

After the meeting, Emperor Tian left with Grandpa Feng in tow. The only ones left in the room were Feng Xi, Prince Jin, Feng Shun, and Fang Ai. Feng Shun looked at Feng Lan who was laying on the floor in a pool of dried up blood sound asleep and shook his head. He turned to Feng Xi and asked: "What do you plan to do with her?" 

"Her? She will be shipped out in a bit to a secret location where she will suffer the same thing she planned for me. She will serve customers from this point on until the day she dies. She can at least contribute some money to our Feng family." Feng Xi answered. 

"Hmm… Until she gets dragged out of here, at least cover her up. The sight is sickening. Also, make sure none of this leads back to us. If it does, it will not look good on us Fengs." Feng Shun did not care what happened to Feng Lan since she was a bastard child from an i.n.c.e.s.tuous relationship. 

"Don't worry, the person who I am having watch over her is a bit unique and is mute at the same time. It's just that his tastes are a bit out there. He is someone Mo Luixian found for me. They do not know who I am since I never met him and Mo Luixian contacted him using a program I created. So voice name, phone number, nothing is traceable back to us. Feng Shun let out a chuckle as he looked at Feng Xi's sly look. "Are you sure you are my daughter? How come I was never this crafty when I was younger." 

"Actually father, this was Jin'er's idea to use Tang Zhi. If he hadn't brought it up I would have made it completely untraceable. But when Jin'er said to use Tang Zhi I felt this was better since it would ruin his reputation if it was ever found out." Feng Xi explained.

"Then Jin'er you have done a good thing. If it wasn't for his family's position I would have killed him myself a long time ago." Feng Shun called out to Prince Jin affectionately. 

Prince Jin rubbed his nose when he heard the way Feng shun addressed him as he said: "I just wanted to help Xi'er."

"I will be counting on you to help her a lot more in the future as well. Jin'er I fully leave my daughter in your hands." Feng Shun said as he bowed his head to Prince Jin.

"I will protect her with my life. No matter whether it be a missile, bullet, or a blade's edge, I will use my own body to shield her if I have to." Prince Jin vowed. 

Feng Xi let the two men chit chat while she pulled Fang Ai to the side. Fang Ai's face was already turning red because she knew she was about to be teased and put on the spot. "So Miss Fang, tell me why you are so into my father!"
