The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

"Grandpa!" Feng Xi couldn't believe it! Her grandfather said the same thing as her father! "Jin'er and I are to be wedded in about a year and a half. I will not lie. I love Jin'er very much and we do sleep together but we have not stepped over the line. I am too young to be doing any of that!!" She of course won't tell her grandfather that she has let Prince Jin see her n.a.k.e.d and listen to her do 'that'. 

Prince Jin stood to the side with a smug face. His Xi'er was being protective of him and said she loves him for all to hear. He was in a very good mood at this time. Grandpa Feng heard his granddaughter's words and humphed. "Already acting like a good wife protecting your husband. It's not like I was going to bite him! Whatever happened to my lovable granddaughter that used to chase after me saying 'Grampy, Grampy when Xi'er grows up Xi'er will marry Grampy!'."

"Grandpa! I never said that!" Feng Xi stomped her feet and blushed. Why was her grandfather teasing her!

Seeing Feng Xi blushing away, Grandpa Feng let out a laugh and looked at Prince Jin with a smile. "Xiao Jin, you better take good care of my granddaughter. Do not disappoint me. She is the princess of the Feng family. Also once she is of age I expect a great grandchild nine months later." 

Grandpa Feng's words made Feng Xi blush even more. Prince Jin only smiled and nodded his head. "Grandpa Feng has no need to worry. I will never treat Xi'er wrong. As for the grandchild, I will work hard to make that happen."

"Mmm… Good! You best keep your word young man or this old man will rip your head off." Grandpa Feng gave a stern warning before turning his attention back to Feng Xi. "Xi'er I happened to hear what you said before coming in. If what you say is true and it seems that it is, then you are very fortunate. I will say this now, never say a word of this to anyone outside of this room."

Grandpa Feng's sharp gaze fell on each person in the room. There were no outsiders except for Fang Ai who became scared when his eyes fell on her. Feng Xi saw this and immediately spoke up. "Grandpa she's fine. Fang Ai is very caring and gentle towards Father. She has been personally taking care of him since he came here and has been doing a great job." 

Grandpa Feng's sharp gaze did not leave Fang Ai, he humphed and said: "Little girl if you spread a word of what you heard here today do not expect this old man to be lenient " 

Feng Xi could only let out a sigh. She could not say any more in Fang Ai's defense since Grandpa Feng was saying this for her protection. Grandpa Feng has always been like this with her. He even beat up some kid's father because his son had pushed her down and caused her to scrap her knee. When it came to his family he was a very protective person.

Feng Shun couldn't take seeing Fang Ai being berated for no reason so he finally spoke up saying: "Father, Fang Ai is a good woman, She won't cause any harm so stop scaring the poor girl."

"Humph! What is this!? Did you fall for your nurse as soon as you woke up?" Grandpa Feng's lips curled up as he found a new target of teasing.

"And if I did? So what? She already has Xi'er approval! I am getting old and Fang Ai is a very caring woman. If she wanted to I would marry her tomorrow!" Feng Shun boldly announced, causing Fang Ai's face to turn beat red.

"Hoho… Seems I might get another grandchild sooner than I thought!" Grandpa Feng smiled brightly. He couldn't wait to have another little Feng to dote on. So he decided to speed up the process a little bit. "So little girl my son has confessed he likes you, how will you answer?"

Feng Xi did not know if she should laugh or cry. Her grandfather was too straight forward putting the poor girl on the spot like that. "Miss Fang you do not need to answer him. You can discuss it with my father later." She looked at her grandfather and shook her head. "Grandpa stop putting people on the spot for your own amus.e.m.e.nt."

"Can't this old man just have some fun? You kids nowadays beat around the bush too much. When I was growing up if a man likes a woman they hit them on the head with a club and dragged them by their hair to their cave and made love! What's the point of all this getting to know each other crap! " Grandpa Feng suddenly roared out as if his words were words sent down from the heavens. 

Feng Xi let out a laugh as she said: "Grandpa this is not the stone age! You do something like that now you would get charged with attempted murder and r*pe!" 

"You know what I mean! I am just saying if you like someone, be forthright about it. No need to wait for the right moment." Grandpa Feng's words made Feng Xi roll her eyes. 

"Grandpa you need romance in a relationship! Although being upfront about your feelings is good, expressing them at the right time also helps." Feng Xi knows she should be the last person to say these words. But she couldn't help think of the way Prince Jin expressed himself. She might have found it annoying at the time. But his actions were pretty cute and romantic in their own way.

"Humph! What do you know! You're only sixteen, you know nothing about relationsh.i.p.s." Grandpa Feng snorted. He crossed his arms across his c.h.e.s.t and turned his head away from Feng Xi, not wanting to look at her. His childish actions made Feng Xi laugh.

After a few minutes, Grandpa Feng finally turned serious again as he asked: "Alright enough joking around Xi'er what is the plan that you have to deal with the current situation?"
