The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

When Feng Xi and Prince Jin made their way to Feng Xi's courtyard Prince Jin noticed someone running out of her courtyard door. He gave a look at Eunuch Li who quickly nodded and ran off. "Xi'er do not touch anything in your house."

"What why!?" Feng Xi asked. She was confused as to why Prince Jin would say such a thing.

"I just saw someone exit your courtyard. I will go in first, you and the girls follow closely behind, but do not touch anything." Prince Jin then took out a handkerchief and used it to open the courtyard door.

"Just hang tight, Eunuch Li will be back soon with a few people to search the premises. Xi'er when they bring in the equipment I will go with you into your room to search and teach you what to look for. As for your servants, a few females guards will be here to help check their rooms as well." Prince Jin pulled Feng Xi close. kissed her forehead and said: "You have to be careful at all times when the enemy is at your backdoor. Since Tang Zhi is here that means you need to take even more care to look out for things."

Prince Jin rested his chin on top of Feng Xi's head, hugging her tightly. Feng Xi realized she had been too relaxed! If not for Prince Jin noticing the person exiting her courtyard when she did not or if she was alone with just her and Ru'er… Just the thought of what could have happened made Feng Xi's whole body tremble. She pushed her face into Prince Jin's c.h.e.s.t taking in his scent to calm herself down.

Memories of her past life of that day when she had been r*ped by all those men surged into her mind. If not for Prince Jin's scent calming her nerves, she would have already crunched up into a ball and hid in a corner and cried. Feng Xi's arms wrapped around Prince Jin hugging him just as tight as he hugged her. She was glad. She was glad she had him to rely on. He had become her pillar. The support she needed to break off from her past and start anew.

Prince Jin could feel the trembling girl in his arms and gently rubbed her back. After a few minutes, he could see that her trembling had stopped allowing him to breathe a sigh of relief. He did not know what set her off but he could tell whatever it was, was something to do with this situation and Tang Zhi. This thought made Prince Jin's eyes turn ice cold.

A few minutes later Eunuch Li returned with almost twenty people. "Run a search! Same as always. Prince Jin will be living here from now on so make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. Bedrooms are off limits to men! Only females are allowed to enter."

With Eunuch Li's orders, the group of people went right to work. They brought in large amounts of equipment and began searching the whole courtyard. They were using metal detectors to UV lights along with other equipment as they scanned every centimeter of the place.

Eunuch Li walked over to Prince Jin and said "As you requested." before handing him a metal detector and a UV Light. Prince Jin gave Eunuch Li a look which Eunuch Li nodded his head in return. Seeing this Prince Jin smiled and placed a UV light into Feng Xi's hands.

Another person, a woman in her late twenties who had just come with Eunuch Li, walked over as well. "Xi'er lets go, she will help search as well to make sure we do not miss anything."

Feng Xi nodded her head but did not say anything. She only hugged onto Prince Jin's left arm, not wanting to let go. Although she had calmed down quite a bit, Feng Xi was still feeling shaky. Seeing this, Prince Jin became concerned. He nodded to the girl and walked towards Feng Xi's bedroom.

"Make sure you check every centimeter. All her clothes everything. If something happens to my Xi'er you will know what will happen to you!" Prince Jin's words scared the young woman so badly, she almost peed herself! Sweat dripped down her back as she thoroughly checked centimeter by centimeter of everything in the room not even willing to even leave a dust particle unturned.

"Xi'er see how she is doing this. She is scanning everything. With the UV light to pick up any substances that might be smeared onto your clothes. So remember if you feel anything off make sure you check everything just in case." Prince Jin said seriously. Anything could cause an issue. Touch a doorknob and then touch your face. The poison that one did not see could enter the body and kill. He had grown up in the palace and seen many people die in this exact manner.

This search went on for a few hours until finally, they were through. In the front yard, there was a pile of items. Each item was said to be contaminated by a single substance. Some of it was kitchen items while some were personal items of all the girls. After getting the results Eunuch Li's face went black. He walked over to Prince Jin and whispered into his ear.

"That mother f.u.c.ker!" Prince Jin suddenly yelled out. "Bring that piece of shit in here now!"

Very quickly a young man whose clothes looked to have been expensive once, was now in tatters, was dragged into the courtyard. Feng Xi looked at the young man and did not recognize him. But she had a feeling who might be behind him. "Jin'er what substance did they spread throughout my courtyard?"

Letting out a sigh Prince Jin held Feng Xi's hand and said: "Ecstasy Palace, a..." Prince Jin's words were interrupted when he heard Feng Xi's voice.

"An aphrodisiac that will not only make a person black out and highly aroused but will also ruin their chances of ever giving birth..."
