The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

The entire time Feng Xi was sleeping, Feng Lan was staring at her grinding her teeth. She had no idea what happened. Feng Xi had called out to her and after she answered she was put down and then completely ignored while the two began flirting away! She did not see what was so good about Feng Xi! But she knew at this time until Feng Xi was separated from Prince Jin, she could not make any moves against Feng Xi.

The lift slowly came to a halt as it entered the station that was built right by a large lake just under the large waterfall that the Heavens Fall Academy was built on top of. The scenery of lush greenery adorned by many colorful species of flowers with the picturesque waterfall made the area seem very romantic, if it was not for the hundreds of students standing there getting organized.

"Line up in four lines!" Qiao Jing the headteacher yelled out.

Very quickly all the students lined up, Prince Jin of course lined up with Feng Xi. These four lines were for registration. Each term you were required to re-register in order to continue attending the school for the year. No one was allowed to be late. If you were even a second late after registration ends you would not be allowed to attend school.

After almost a half hour wait in line, it was finally Feng Xi's turn to register. But when she saw Song Xinya, a teacher who disliked Feng Xi for some unknown reason, behind the desk doing the registration, caused Feng Xi's brow to furrow. Letting out a sigh Feng Xi stepped up to register only to have Song Xinya look at her and then yell out: "Next!"

"Feng Xi, Generals Man..."

"I said Next!"

"..." Everyone suddenly had a strange look on their face and quietly began moving backward. They dared not get near the registration desk at this time.

"Miss Song I am next." Feng Xi gritted her teeth and said politely.

"Humph! You can go to the back of the line and get yourself registered after everyone else. Since you do not come to this school to learn and never try to better yourself..."

*Bang!*

"Ahh!" The registration desk was sent flying as Prince Jin became enraged. She fell back with her seat as the desk toppled on top of her. "Your Highness, Prince Jin! Di-Did I anger you somehow?"

"Jin'er, calm down, she is not worth it. Remember even in Heavens Fall Academy, even as a prince you can not hit the staff members. I will just go to the back of the line." Feng Xi tried to coax him but hearing that she was going to wait in line again made him even angrier.

Seeing the commotion Headteacher Qiao Jiang ran over. "What's going on here!?"

"You have a teacher that does not treat all students fairly and was going to force my Xi'er to the back of the line to make her wait again. If Xi'er did not stop me you would have had one less teacher here at Heavens Fall Academy!" Prince Jin's gaze was sharp and full of killing intent as he looked at Song Xinya.

head TEacher Qiao Jing looked at Feng Xi who was obviously next and frowned. "What are you waiting for? Quickly apologize to Mrs. Feng immediately! You are to treat each student equally here at Heavens Fall Academy! Do you not want your job Song Xinya!?" Head Teacher Qiao Jing was given the headteacher position because of his fairness and equality amongst the students. He treated none of them any differently. So him saying this was not to give Prince Jin face but because this was what he truly believed. Even Prince Jin had respect for this man.

Song Xinya gritted her teeth and reluctantly kowtowed to Feng Xi and said: "I am sorry for treating you unfairly and for my earlier words. "

"It's fine. I am sorry Jin'er kicked the desk at you, he gets a little touchy if people try to mess with me." Feng Xi, although she did not like this woman one bit, was not going to let this incident go any further. But to everyone's surprise, Prince Jin bowed his head and said: "Sorry..." in a low voice. This caused everyone to freeze as they tried to figure out if they had heard correctly? The lofty and violent, who will kill anyone if they came near me Prince Jin actually apologized!? They really could not believe it. But then again the whole trip to the Academy they had seen a whole new side of Prince Jin! And the one to bring that out was Feng Xi!

Prince Jin's face turned black as he screamed in his head 'This damn girl is treating me like a pet! Let's see if you can get away!' He reached up, snatched the hand that was petting his head, and pulled Feng Xi into his embrace hugging her tightly. "I like this reward better."

"Prince Jin you rogue let me go!" Feng Xi yelled out as she beat helplessly on Prince Jin's c.h.e.s.t.

"I was just getting my reward." Prince Jin's words made Feng Xi "humph" as she pushed away from him.

After straightening her clothes Feng Xi asked "Can I register now?"

"Ahh yes of course. Song Xinya, quickly help her register!" Head Teacher Qiao Jing ordered before walking away. He was still in a bit of a daze after what he had just witnessed.

After registering Feng Xi was handed her courtyard gate key and told to stand at the side. After another hour registration was over and everyone was once again gathered in front of headteacher Qiao Jing. "First let me welcome back those who are returning and welcome those who will be coming to Heavens Fall Academy for the first time. You should all have a key to your courtyard. Make sure you take care of it well. Classes will start tomorrow so take the rest of the day to get your selves settled in. That is all, disperse!"
