The Rebirth Of Feng Xi

"Ru'er is this everything?" Feng Xi was standing outside the General's Manor, next to a four door black Cadillac.

"Young Miss, everything is ready." Feng Xi smiled and took in a deep breath. It was finally time. She will wipe away the useless title from her past life and change herself into a new person. She had already brushed up on the curriculum, all the way up to the end of high school. She even dived into some of the business economics as well. She knew that the difference between 2008 and 2020 for the business world was big. So she had to have a better understanding of how things were done during this time period.

"Then let's get going!"

The car drove down the busy streets that were lined with buildings that kept the traditional ancient Chinese look. Knowing that the ride would take a few hours, Feng Xi slumped down in her seat and closed her eyes. Heaven's Fall Academy was about a three days drive. They would need to stop at a few hotels along the way to break every night. Though the ride was long, with how spacious and smooth the ride was it was not that big of a deal for Feng Xi.

The road that they were taking was an access road that only students of Heavens Fall Academy could use. It was to allow the students to arrive at their destination safer and faster. Going by car was the only way to get there and at intervals, there were shops lined up to attend to the students' needs as they traveled. This included three hotels that were placed at certain points for resting.

Once they got to the base of the mountain they had to take a lift to the top where the Academy was located. The location of the Academy was not just for its security but also because of the weather irregularity on this one mountain. No one knows why but the temperature always stays between twelve and fifteen degrees celsius. It was basically spring there year round. This was also one of the things Feng Xi loved about this place. The Academy was a relaxing place. It was a place one could really enjoy the surroundings even if it was a school.

The buildings of the Academy were built in the image of ancient courtyards. The higher your status the more luxurious your courtyard would be. Because of how the weather never changed, all classes were held outside in pavilions. After class, you could either join one of the clubs, return home, or head to the small shopping center at the base of the mountain. There were many things to do while at the Academy.

"Young miss we are at the hotel." Ru'er poked Feng Xi who opened her sleepy eyes. She had slept the entire day and now would probably be awake all night.

"Already?" Feng Xi stretched her arms out in front of her, interlocking her fingers in the process and yawned.

Ru'er got out of the car first and then helped Feng Xi out. Feng Xi stepped out of the car and straightened her dress out as she looked around the area. She did not notice the luxurious Maybach that pulled up behind her as she walked towards the door of the hotel. She was still in a half dazed state from just waking up. She also did not notice that she had dropped something from her person.

A handsome young man, wearing a black and gold dragon robe, walked up and picked up the pink embroidered handkerchief off the ground. "Your Highness, would you like me to return it to the young lady?"

"No, I will do it. I do not think she did it on purpose." The handsome young man said with a faint smile. It was strange that a girl would ignore his presence so he was a bit intrigued to see what this girl looked like since he did not get a good look at her face.

He walked up behind Feng Xi. He reached his hands out to grab her shoulder only to find seconds later the world spinning around him and then a sharp pain in his back as he stared up at the beautiful girl's face above him. Her face was filled with shock and a bit of regret as she looked back down at him.

"Yo-Yo-Your Highness! P-Prince Jin! I am so sorry! I just reacted on instinct when I felt someone grab my shoulder!" Feng Xi's face had gone pale. Why of all people did it have to be Prince Jin who she flipped over on to the ground? This alone was enough to have her whole family executed!

Prince Jin had yet to come out of his stunned state, his eyes were locked on the panicking girl in front of him who had now knelt down next to him and was slapping his cheeks. "Your Highness Prince Jin? Are you okay?"

Snapping out of it he felt a red burning feeling on his cheeks. It seemed in her panic Feng Xi was using a bit more force than she had meant to. Another set of footsteps came running up behind Feng Xi and grabbed her shoulder as well.

"What have you done to his… Ahhh!"

Once again on instinct, another person flew through the air landing right on top of Prince Jin!

Feeling the weight of another body slamming into him Prince Jin let out a painful grunt.

When Feng Xi was training in all forms of martial arts she had learned a very bad habit where she would toss people by instinct if they grabbed her shoulder. Even in her past life, she had tossed a few people by accident because of this. She developed this instinct because she was bad at hip throws and practiced until it became a natural movement for her.

Seeing that she had caused harm to Prince Jin yet again Feng Xi bowed to Prince Jin saying "I am so sorry your Highness! I will go call for help quickly!" She then quickly grabbed Ru'er's hand who had just walked over with a suitcase, bowed once more to Prince Jin, and took off running! She did not dare stay any longer! She did not want to lose her little life after being reborn!

Prince Jin was known for being ruthless to those who offended him. Especially women! In her past life, it was said that Prince Jin had many women who tried to touch him, cut at the waist, or executed by horses. Some he even took care of himself but cutting off their heads!

Knowing all this Feng Xi found it best to just run away and pretend none of this ever happened!
