Chapter 5: Experiment

Bai Wanjun remained silent. After a while, she gritted her teeth, "Shi Han is our daughter afterall, we should talk to her first, so as not to say that we have not fulfilled our responsibilities as parents."

Shi Zheng was also silent.

______

Shi Han entered the guest room. She first took a shower and changed.

Then she took her laptop and turned it on, lying on the bed, half propped up. The code on the computer flickered, and Shi Han entered an unknown website.

Just as she entered, a message popped up.

[Moonlight, we decided to buy your rear system at a price of 10 million. Do you have any intention?]

It was just a gadget she made out of boredom; Shi Han directly agreed.

Maybe someone was monitoring on the other side all the time, and the next message popped up almost as soon as she replied.

[Moonlight, you are very talented in computers. Are interested in joining our company? The annual salary is 50 million. If you are not satisfied, we can discuss.]

1

[I am not interested.]

Immediately, several messages popped up, nothing more than adding generous conditions, Shi Han didn't read any more, and turned off the laptop directly.

She yawned lazily under the quilt, feeling sleepy, but that line just kept appearing in her mind.

'You are very talented in computers.'

Shi Han twirled her hair in her fingers, remembering the fear she felt while lying on the operating table when she was a child. She was abducted when she was five and was sold to a private experimental facility.

There were many other children in the experimental field, who were abducted and sold there like Shi Han. They were given injections and medicines, while their blood was drawn every day and had surgeries.

She knew the purpose of this experiment.

—super brain experiment.

She seemed to be a success in the experiment, and she didn't become stupid or die after the craniotomy.

After she was rescued, she discovered the difference in herself. Shi Han is too smart; she could learn anything in a very short time compared to others who take a much longer time.

But how could God be so partial to her? Though she had such a powerful super brain, she had a fatal weakness, that was, she would forget some things or people at any time, and even her memory would be jumbled.

Shi Han could feel that she has forgotten many important things, but every time she tried to recall, there was nothing.

Shi Han picked up her mobile phone, looked at the photos of her grandma inside, and tried remembering her memories about her.

Suddenly, she heard someone playing the violin. Shi Han knew it was Shi Yin instantly.

'It has been two years, yet her skill didn't improve much. It is still stupid as hell.'

And Shi Yin chose this time, to play the violin in her former bedroom which was tantamount to declaring sovereignty of her room.

Shi Han sighed. 'This family is really boring.'

If she hadn't found that there was someone related to the experiment facility was trying to find her existence, Shi Han would never have returned to this place, and bother to pretend to be a university student.

It seemed she had to move out early, staying here, she wouldn't even sleep peacefully.

Maybe because she was too sleepy, Shi Han closed her eyes for a while and then fell asleep. When she woke up again, it was already nine o'clock in the evening.

She went downstairs to pour a glass of milk. Bai Wanjun also just went downstairs, saw the milk in her hand, and snorted coldly, "Now that I think about it, you're trying to please me. Weren't you pretty tough when you came back in the morning?"

Seeing her gaze on her glass in her hand, she immediately remembered that she used to give Bai Wanjun a glass of milk every night when she was at home two years ago.

Bai Wanjun had a bad stomach at the time, and she was worried about her health, so she would bring her a glass of warm milk every night.

To please her? Perhaps Bai Wanjun also thought the same two years ago.
