Myeonghu couldn’t believe his eyes.

“20200 gold…”

He wasn’t able to imagine the wealth when he had first bought the swords, bows and crossbows, but he could finally witness it in the form of 20200 gold. If he were to convert it to cash he could get about 200 million won.

Of course there would be some kind of exchange fee, but he couldn’t help but smile at the fact that he had finally made the much needed 200 million.

“Almost there.”

He had never imagined that he’d achieve his goal so easily. This wasn’t just a couple hundred thousand won we were talking about, but 200 million. It still felt unreal, but whether or not he believed it, the fact that he had over 20,000 gold in his inventory was an irrefutable truth.

“Oh right, I still have those things to sell off.”

He spoke to himself as he looked at the Inner cores of the Great Fox King along with the different loot from the Monstrous Foxes which occupied a portion of his inventory.

“Which one first?”

He was trying to decide whether to sell off the last of his loot, or to first turn his current gold into cash.

“Since there is likely a significant fee, I’d be better off selling the loot first.”

A conversion fee would mean that his current 20,000 gold wouldn’t necessarily result in 200 million won, but if he were to first sell off his loot, at the very least a sum of 200 million would be assured.

He left the Auction house and went to the check out the city map. After examining it, he headed to the district which showed different shops.

“There are so many.”

As he arrived in the shopping district he couldn’t help but stare at the different shops all lined up one after another. He finally decided to visit Liona’s general store.

Blah blah

“Buying Orc teeth, Looking to purchase a lot!”

“Buying monster’s tails, any kind is fine!

He walked into the General store, and although it wasn’t as crowded as the Auction house or plaza, there were still plenty of players milling around. Moving past several people he approached the owner of the store.

“Welcome!”

“Ah, yes hello.”

He immediately proceeded to take out an Inner core, as well as a Pelt, Tail and Claw of the Monstrous Fox and placed them on the counter.

“Oh!”

Liona Stared at the four kinds of items and began examining them in detail.

“Woaah”

She admired the items before smiling at Myeonghu and saying.

“You have here the Inner core of a Great Fox King, and the Pelt, Tail and Claws of a Monstrous Fox!”

“Yes, how much will you buy them for?”

“For the Inner core I can give 20 gold, the Pelt 230, the Tail 130 and I’ll buy the claws at 140 each.”

Hearing the generous price, he immediately emptied his entire inventory on the counter.

“I’d like to sell all these.”

“The Inner cores amount to 200 gold, 18 Pelts give 4140 gold, 10 Steel Tails are 1300 gold and the 9 Steel Claws are 1260, for a total of 6600 gold”

Liona Handed him a pouch filled with the gold which he happily took and placed in his inventory. He then left the store and headed back to the Auction house.

‘… 26800 gold.’

Even if one accounted for a certain fee, it should almost certainly exceed 200 million won once exchanged. He smiled as he picked up the pace, on his way to the Auction house.

“Buying Items in bulk! Can pay in cash or gold!”

After arriving he began to move through the crowd, trying to find the right buyer.

“Buying gold as 10,000 won each! Bring at least 50 and I can buy up to 400 gold!”

Myeonghu went up to the player and sent him a trade request.

“How much are you selling?”

The player asked after the trade window appeared. Myeonghu however didn’t even bother replying, and simply put up 400 gold for trade. On his end the player quickly listed 4 million won.

“Thanks”

After concluding the deal the player quickly made himself scarce, while Myeonghu checked his inventory and his previously empty cash section now held 3.8 millions won.

‘Ah, so the fee was 200,000….’

Considering the fact that it also accounted for taxes, a 5% fee was quite cheap. Still just thinking of the 200,000 won which had been stolen from him caused was quite painful..

“Buying gold as 10,000 won each! I can buy up to 500 gold!”

Myeonghu quickly ran up to the new player and placed 500 gold. When the other party listed 5 million won, he clicked OK.

“Should I put them on the Auction market instead?”

He opened up his inventory and frowned as he checked the remaining gold. Although he had just sold 900 gold, there was still 25,900 left and his current method was too slow.

He walked up to the NPC and the searched for the Game currency buying section.

“A high of 9,000….”

On the bid side the highest price was 9,000 won per gold. He then switched to the sales section to have a look at the price gap.

“ They start at 10,500 won.”

He then handed over his 25,000 gold to the NPC and listed the sale price at 10,000 won each, before closing the page.

“Ah, it’s so clean now.”

His inventory was next to empty. He currently only had 900 gold, two Unique items, the Teleportation Scrolls and his stall.

He then looked at his cash section.

“8.65 million.”

It was the result of his last two transactions. Myeonghu simply stayed there staring at the number.

“Oh right, how much time is left for those.”

He accessed the Trade window to see the status of his Items listed for auction.

“They’re already at a decent price.”

Myeonghu gulped as he saw the high bids. Even if they were to sell at the current prices, it would amount to 60 million won. After the 5% fee he would still have more than 55 million left over.

“Are they still going up?”

There was left than an hour left, be he somehow felt that the prices would actually rise some more.

‘What should I do now?’

He had finally managed to gather the required 200 million, so the money problem wa solved. He now wasn’t sure what he should focus on.

“Oh right! Walcha!”

He remembered the man name Walcha who invited his for a quest.

“Mana…”

He muttered as he stealthily moved to an abandoned alley.

Suaak!

After making sure he was alone, he activated the Token of Himise and opened a portal which he quickly stepped into.

* * * *

“Honey!”

“Just call me Luna!”

Walcha and his wife Luna were currently in the middle of hunting bears.

Swoosh!

Luna ducked and the large bear paw flew harmlessly overhead. She then swiftly retreated, dodging any additional swipes while leaving deep gashes on its arms with her sword.

Raawwr!

The bear roared from the pain, the crouched down and took a low posture.

“Get ready Walcha!”

Luna shouted upon seeing the Bear lowers its center of gravity. Walcha raised his shield which was as large as his body. Seeing Walcha in place, Luna grabbed two swords, one in each side and raised them overhead.

Kuhhung!

The enraged bear charged a the the couple.

Walcha stepped forward while holding the shield close to his body. Luna was right behind him, staring at the incoming bear.

Bang!

Walcha trembled and his back broke out in sweats as he bore the full force of the bears assault on his shield. After breaking its momentum, he quickly dodged to the left side.

Shakk

Luna’s Sword slash struck at blistering speed, landing directly on its face.

Skuk

Raaw

With a weakening roar, the bear finally collapsed.

“…”

Walcha shivered at the thought that had he been a fraction of a second slower, it might have been him lying down on the ground instead.

“Luna, when you attack at least give me a sign, or make sure I have already dodged.”

Swish!

In response she cut the air with her sword.

“Why, you don’t believe in my skill?”

“I believe I believe….”

Walcha gulped down nervously at the sight of her.

“Go have a look.”

Luna said while pointing at the bear’s corpse with her sword.

Walking up to the body, he began to loot it.

“It’s here.”

“So you don’t need to catch anymore?”

“Nope, let’s head back to the village.”

However Luna shook her head and said.

“Let’s catch one more.”

“Why?”

Walcha was dumbstruck. There simple wasn’t any reason to keep hunting the bears since the had already gathered the necessary materials and the experience provided wasn’t that generous.

“If we were to catch one more it would make 500.”

“…”

Walcha was rendered speechless by her logic, as he watched her continue to wave her sword around.

“There’s one!”

She soon spotted a bear and ran towards it.

Walcha could only let out a sigh as he chased after her.
