Chapter 48 Data on Hard Disk

Leo and Bucky smoothly left Mingde Street and returned to Harvest Hotel after Daredevil, Matt left in embarrassment.

Leo knocked at the door when they reached the hotel entrance. This time, the owner swiftly opened a slit on the door and both of them slipped inside.

The hotel owner was shocked when he saw Leo and Bucky return safely with a few bags. But he did not dare to ask much and could only speculate in his heart.

Leo was not going to explain to the owner. He only thanked the owner before bringing Bucky to the second floor.

Just as Bucky opened the 203’s door with the key, Ol’ Tom who was asleep inside was jolted awake. He let out a heave of relief when Leo and Bucky entered.

Fortunately, the laptop was not damaged. This saved him countless problems as he did not have to spend time fixing them.

Leo connected his laptop to a power source and pulled out a thick hard disk and forcefully connected it to the laptop. It was hard for Leo since he had “Computer Manufacturing” and “Computations Expertise”.

The hard disk’s contents were too large while the laptop he had right now was too inadequate as if making bricks without straws. Thus, the reading speed was too slow and Leo could only patiently wait.

Looking at the slow loading speed and ugly-looking laptop, Leo suddenly had an idea. The ’90s were a time technologies grew at an explosive speed. He had visions and coupled with the advantages of the Mechanic System, he would start a technology company.

This would allow him to earn a large sum of money and be self-sufficient. Thus, he did not have to worry about the cost and reasons for manufacturing all kinds of machinery.

Since this was the Marvel Universe, the level of acceptance of ordinary people was incomparably high. So no matter how heaven-defying items Leo created, everything can be explained by being a genius scientist.

Leo only had two hundred thousand dollars of cash, a box of jewelry from Minnesota and around five hundred thousand scoured from the Pure Love Bar.

After a rough estimation, the total amount was at least ten hundred thousand dollars. Although it seemed like a lot, it was a drop in the ocean for opening a big company.

Leo felt a headache as he was unsure where to look for money.

The hard disk read successfully followed by a ring. Leo immediately cast aside the problem with money and focused on the laptop screen.

However, the screen showed a series of scrambled codes. Dr. Zola had set special encryption on the database.

Leo had received related knowledge about Dr. Zola’s robotic body after analyzing it from the system. Within the knowledge, there was a decoding module corresponding to the encryption of the data on the hard disk.

Thus, Leo began writing the decoding program on the laptop based on the knowledge in his brain.

One hour later, under the turtle-like speed of the laptop, Leo finally succeeded in decoding the data after overcoming the impulse of smashing the laptop several times.

Rows of English titles appeared on the screen. Leo patiently endured the lagging screen before slowly and briefly browsing through the information.

80% of the data on the hard disk were blueprints of various weapons. Some had been marked with a success tag but most of them were half-finished.

The rest 18% of the data were about the research on Super Soldier Serum. Leo was familiar with this data, so it was useless for him.

The remaining 2% were memories of Dr. Zola’s daily life. It was saved in the form of photos and words.

Leo was extremely interested in this part and began going through it. Two hours later, Leo silently removed the hard disk and shut down the laptop after browsing through these memory files.

After he finished reading the memory files, he knew all of the H.Y.D.R.A. secret base locations and knew how badly S.H.I.E.L.D. was infiltrated by the H.Y.D.R.A.

The good news was the only Super Soldiers H.Y.D.R.A. had were Sinthea and Bucky. Leo had taken Bucky away and he was not afraid of Sinthea’s mind-controlling ability.

From the looks of it, although H.Y.D.R.A. had a great influence and power to destroy entire America perhaps the entire world, it was not a big threat to Leo.

Leo pulled out his mission panel and looked at the mission completion rate of 【Undying H.Y.D.R.A.】, he felt it would take a long time to complete it.

HYDRA had a large influence that covered the whole world. It was not something Leo alone could destroy overnight.

Leo settled the matters with H.Y.D.R.A. back to his mind before continuing to plan his sudden idea of starting a tech company.
