Chapter 23 Analyzing the Super Soldier Serum

17th December, morning, Boston.

The Winter Soldier had long brought the serum back to the H.Y.D.R.A. base with the assistance of H.YD.R.A. agents while it was still dark.

Currently. Leo and the others gathered in the laboratory on the second basement level. They were patiently waiting for Dr. Zola to complete analyzing the serum.

In the looted box, through Dr. Zola’s confirmation, as all the various sizes of test tubes were connected, there was only one sample of serum.

Moreover, the Winter Soldier did not find the formula in the car.

When Dr. Zola knew there was only one sample of serum, he strongly requested Sinthea to let him research it. He hoped that with help of the perfected serum, he could recreate the formula.

However, Sinthea felt a bird in hand was worth two birds in the bush. Thus, she ordered Dr. Zola to collect a small amount of serum and did an authentication test, and used this serum to enhance the warriors.

Thus, when Dr. Zola was analyzing the sample, he was meticulous about it.

Dr. Zola took out a test tube from the box as he carefully dropped a drop of serum sample out and split it into half.

Half of it was placed under a special instrument. The serum structure and composition were tested with physical detection and chemical reaction. Another half of it was injected into the white mouse’s body by Dr. Zola using a small syringe.

After being busy for a long time, Dr. Zola walked out of the laboratory with a thick stack of test results and said to the few people who were waiting in the hall, “Good news, good news! The composition of the serum sample is consistent with the data left by Dr. Erskine. Furthermore, after three hours of being injected with the serum, the white mouse’s physical condition is good. I’ve tested its regeneration speed and virus resistance, and both of them were greatly enhanced. The anatomical study data of each organ of the mouse is as follows…”

Dr. Zola began babbling the test results to everyone. Besides Leo who could understand it, the others were baffled.

I’m afraid it’s not suitable for us to do human trials here. The Super Soldier enhancement equipment Dr. Erskine uses much more energy than my old sleeping device. Thus, we need to change our location and prepare the enhancement device. All of this requires time.”

“It’s not a problem! Carry everything we have, tonight we will move to Base 033. They can satisfy your every requirement. At the same time, Doctor, if you need any instruments and materials, tell Katr to prepare.”

Sinthea was impatient as she could see the hope of making new Super Soldiers.

Thus, she had promised every requirement Dr. Zola had and hoped the Super Soldier could be nurtured faster.

“Leader, I volunteer to be modified by the serum. Please give me this rare chance.”, Katr suddenly said.

Sinthea looked at Katr’s body and looked at his face. She licked her alluring bright-red lips and said, “Alright! You make arrangements for this base’s follow-up and leave with us tonight.”

After saying that, Sinthea seemed to remember some good things as she left the laboratory happily with the Winter Soldier.

Katr excitedly followed behind Sinthea and left. At the same time, he was secretly scanning Sinthea’s killer body.

Leo looked at everyone who had left as he stopped Dr. Zola, who was going back to his work, and asked, “Teacher, when you were explaining the experiment data, you mentioned the rapid proliferation of muscles in the mouse. Is that normal?”

Dr. Zola stayed silent for a while as he pondered and said in a deep voice, “Honestly, I don’t know whether it’s normal or not. Before Erskine escaped, he had deleted most of the experiment data. However, the serum Stark recreated did enhance cellular activities. The test results also matched the experimental data that was left behind. Even so, can the Super Soldier be successfully created? Leo pondered for a bit and probed, “Then, Teacher, can I take a look at serum?”

“Of course! During the experiment, I still require your assistance. There’s no problem letting you look at it now.”

After saying that, Dr. Zola brought Leo into the laboratory. He took out a sealed test tube with the serum in it and gave Leo. Leo took the test tube and carefully looked at it.

The Super Soldier serum looked like a dark red color liquid with a hint of purple thread in it. This special serum could produce a Super Soldier, it was impossible for Leo to not be greedy about it.

After completing Black Widow’s mission, Leo missed out on the “Serum Modified Physique” and could help but regret it. But now, it could be a chance to grow stronger!

“Mechanical Force Analysis.”

The next moment, Leo tried to analyze the serum in his hand.

When Leo found out Mechanical Force Analysis was useless against the serum, he tried using “Mechanical Force – Insight” but could only observe that it contained energy that was much more compared to conventional liquids and had irregular movements.

Leo twitched his mouth as he placed the serum back into the cryogenic box. He looked at Dr. Zola and shrugged, showing he could not understand anything.

Dr. Zola brought Leo out of the laboratory and said, “We are leaving tonight, you go back and pack up the things you need. There’s no need to bring too much, the place we are going to this time does not lose against the cotton production factory. There’s everything there.”

After Leo heard that, his heart moved and slightly complained, “Are we going to stay underground again? This time we are not leaving America right?”

“This time it’s not underground but a cave. Besides, we will not leave America for the time being. The new H.Y.D.R.A. was born out of S.H.I.E.L.D. . We still need a large number of their resources and secrets.”

“Teacher, how many bases does the organization have? How many of our people are in the S.H.I.E.L.D. ?”

“The organization has a lot of secret bases that are spread across the world. As for who’s our people in the S.H.I.E.L.D., that’s a secret only Miss Sinthea and I know. I still can’t tell you this information yet. However, if you perform well, perhaps someday you will know too. I am optimistic about you.”

Leo noticed he could not get any secrets from Dr. Zola so he bid Dr. Zola farewell. He prepared to return to his laboratory and pack things up. As Leo reached the door, Dr. Zola suddenly said, “Leo, later in the evening, remember to adjust my sleeping device. There’s no time for sleep at night, so I want to sleep two hours earlier.”

Leo promised as he left Dr. Zola’s laboratory.
