Chapter 220 Unimaginably Huge Mine

Parting ways with the “All-purpose Maintenance Bot”, Leo continued to examine his surroundings.

The lighting fixtures here were more numerous than above the mine, making it slightly brighter. Along the rock walls, there was a spiral metal track leading upwards, but he wasn’t sure where it led.

He didn’t find any sound wave stabilizers on the tracks, and although the maglev train moved swiftly, it hadn’t yet reached the high speeds he knew of.

When he first analyzed Vibranium, he obtained “Vibranium material and related technologies” from the system and it mentioned the newly mined raw Vibranium, which has not been shaped, is extremely unstable and should not be transported at high speeds, as it may explode and pose a major danger. To safely transport it at high speeds, a stabilizer that emits specific frequency sound waves can temporarily remove Vibranium’s unique characteristics.

It seemed that the Wakandans had also discovered this characteristic of Vibranium. However, at present, they hadn’t found a solution to it thus resulting in a limitation of the maximum speed of the maglev transportation trains.

Out of the blue, another maglev train whizzed past Leo and he subconsciously looked up to see that it was also loaded with tubes of Vibranium. He hastily counted the number of Vibranium tubes on one side of the train, but due to its high speed, he could count around forty-six tubes.

But his counting method would surely underestimate the number of glass tubes.

So he boldly guessed that there were fifty tubes of Vibranium on one side of the train and with the other side, it would make a total of one hundred tubes, which matched the description of the small Vibranium transport vehicle that Ulysses had previously mentioned.

However, Ulysses had mentioned that Wakanda’s daily Vibranium output was equivalent to thirty small transport vehicles. But two maglev trains had already passed by in less than two minutes!

Perhaps Wakanda’s Vibranium output had doubled in the past two years? The increase in production was almost comparable to that of a pig giving birth to piglets!

Moreover, two maglev trains racing on the same track at such a high speed in a short amount of time, wasn’t there a risk of collision?!

As he was pondering, another maglev train loaded with Vibranium zoomed past him from the right. Utterly stunned, he gave up all his doubts and muttered to himself, “Well, this is Wakanda for you!”

In total, three small Vibranium transport vehicles had passed by him, carrying a total of three hundred tubes of standard-quality Vibranium. It was worth an astonishing thirty billion dollars in wealth, more than six times the total amount of Vibranium he had access to.

Right now, Leo no longer doubted the amount of Vibranium reserves in Wakanda. He carefully trailed the maglev track toward the depths of the mine. 

He was hesitant to try and steal the Vibranium from the transport vehicles, as they had a known quality and any attempt to do so would immediately be discovered by the Wakandans.

Having seen firsthand the immense amount of Vibranium possessed By Wakanda, he now held them in high regard. Although in his previous life, numerous netizens had jokingly referred to the Wakandans as primitive people with space-level technology, he no longer believed that to be the case.

Therefore, he decided not to underestimate Wakanda anymore. Following the principle of not exposing himself unnecessarily, he planned to sneak into the front line of the Vibranium mining and steal some of it. 

Since the Vibranium had just been mined and refined, it hadn’t been weighed or packaged. So, he was sure that he could nick some without being detected.

Leo’s speed was fast as he flew along the maglev track, swiftly reaching the end of the track. In fact, it wasn’t the end of the track as he suddenly learned that the maglev track was a closed loop.

On the other side of the track, there was a similarly sized massive mining pit separated by a wall of rock, with only a few limited connecting pathways.

Thinking for a bit, he figured that it was reasonable since the Wakandas had been developing Vibranium for over ten thousand years. It was unlikely that they would only have one ming pit.

This led Leo to believe that the entrance he had just entered wasn’t the only entrance to the mine.

The Vibranium mine was unimaginably huge for Leo.
