Chapter 160 I’m Telling Fury Everything

TL: Kyous

Leo was a rather pragmatic person. He felt it pointless to discuss the matter of being invincible first. For him, dealing with the mess before him was much more crucial.

Squatting down, he groped the air in front of Sinthea with his right hand. A small chip-controlling terminal automatically levitated and landed on his hand, before being crushed into pieces by him.

By then, Matt suddenly popped out of nowhere and ran towards Leo. He had listened to the whole process of the fight between Leo and Sinthea, he asked in disbelief, “That’s it?!”

“That’s it!” Leo slightly nodded his head.

“To be honest, I don’t think it’ll be dangerous even if I’m around.” Matt spat out a rare protest. Pointing at the duo on the ground, he said, “What now?”

“Wait.” Leo replied, “Let’s wait for Natasha driving over. Then, I’ll bring these two back to the office.”

“Huh. So there’s nothing for me?” Matt asked, “If there’s nothing, I’ll go back to Heather.”

When Matt was hiding, he had thought it clearly. This matter involved the terrorist organization, H.Y.D.R.A. It wasn’t something a civilian like him shouldn’t be involved in.

Leo pondered for a bit before saying, “Go to where Orange Fist and the others are hiding. After Natasha and I bring these two away, tell him to lead the people back. Then, you’re free to go.”

Matt nodded before hopping onto the roof and disappearing.

Suddenly thinking of something, Leo faced Matt’s leaving direction and said, “Oh right. Make sure to tell Orange Fist to take care of the dead underlings first. Their bodies are still in the bars. It’s quite horrifying.”

Although Leo didn’t receive Matt’s reply, he knew Matt heard him. Then, he leaned against the wall of Graceful Life, quietly waiting for Natasha’s arrival.

Five minutes later, Natasha drove a white sedan, charging into Mingde Street. After getting out of the car, she pulled out two handguns on her thighs and vigilantly sized up the surroundings.

“Over here.” Leo stood up and flew up, waving at Natasha from afar.

Natasha ran over. When she saw the lying duo’s faces clear, she was taken apart. Pointing at the woman, she gasped, “Is that H.Y.D.R.A.’s leader, Sinthea Schmidt?!”

Leo nodded in response. Natasha carefully examined the duo’s current appearance and realized both of them were in sorry figures, especially Sinthea. Her body was emitting the smell of burnt protein.

Scrunching up her brows, she said, “Ol’ Tom said Teacher Bucky went mad just now…” She paused momentarily before pointing at the ground, “What’s going on?!”

“Make a guess yourself.” Leo casually explained, “Sinthea somehow made it to Mingde Street and bumped into Bucky. It was her controlling Bucky to kill the underlings here. That’s why Ol’ Tom said Bucky went mad. I flew over here first and found them. So I subdued them first.”

“You can win against two of them?! In this short amount of time as well?!” Natasha widened her eyes.

“Yeah. A piece of cake.” Leo replied.

Natasha asked doubtfully, “Then, how did you beat them? Why is Sinthea coal black?”

“Shocking them.” Raising his right hand, several arcs of electricity bounced on Leo’s fingertips. “It’s called Electrotherapy. For curing all kinds of disobedience.”

Twitching her mouth, Natasha didn’t reply.

“Alright, alright. I’m joking. I’m not going to shock you.” Leo chuckled, “Let’s get going. Come on, give me a hand. Help me put Sinthea and Bucky into the car. We’ll settle them down somewhere in the office.”

Natasha nodded before driving the car over.

Leo used the dissolvent to remove the thick spider webs on Sinthea and Bucky’s bodies. Then, he placed their hands behind their back before plastering them with spider webs again. By now, Natasha already drove the car over. Both of them stashed the fainted Bucky and Sinthea into backseats. Leo sat in the passenger seat and was just about to leave.

Then all of a sudden, someone dropped down from the sky, landing right next to the car. It was Spider-man, Peter Parker. He knocked on the car window and shouted, “Wait, wait.”

Leo rolled down the window and Peter hurriedly exclaimed, “Wait, you’re leaving now? I’ve just arrived! Just now Ol’ Tom called me saying Teacher Bucky went mad. What’s going on now? Where is he?”

Leo pointed at the backseats, “Bucky is fine. We’re going back to the office now. There’s still a spot back there, you can squeeze in a bit if you want. Wanna go back to the office together?”

“Erm, no thanks!” Peter waved his hand, “I’ll go back first then. MJ is still waiting for me to eat breakfast. I’ll go to the office after I’m done…”

And thus, Peter had just arrived for nothing before leaving with confusion.

……

Ten minutes later, Natasha drove the car and arrived at El Building’s back entrance with Leo and the others.

Opening the door, with one hand each, Leo carried Bucky and Sinthea like carrying two sacks of potatoes. Initially, he intended to carry them to the basement. But since Natasha was following, he considered for a bit before carrying them to a storeroom on the first floor.

“Natasha, watch over them first. I’ll be back soon.” Leo headed to his lab and picked up a spare signal jammer before hanging it on Bucky’s neck.

Natasha had witnessed the whole process and asked in puzzlement, “Leo, what’s the thing you hang on Teacher Bucky’s neck?”

He didn’t reply immediately, he asked instead, “Bucky never told you?”

Natasha shook her head.

“Then, ask him yourself when he’s awake. It’s kinda his privacy, it’s inconvenient for me to answer.” He skillfully rejected Natasha’s question.

Rolling her eyes, Natasha found a seat for herself. She lowered her head in thought as hesitation was blinking in her eyes.

After a while, she thought it through and opened her mouth, “Leo, it may be unsuitable, but I don’t want to hide it from you. So, I’ll be frank with it. Since I’ve discovered H.Y.D.R.A.’s leader here today, then I should report back to Officer Fury.”

“To Fury?” Leo subconsciously frowned but soon after relaxed. Instead, he chuckled, “Sure, you can tell Fury. In fact, tell him now. Here’s my phone, call him with it.”

He handed a phone to Natasha, “And it just so happens to be four o’clock in the morning. You can pay him back for waking you up at midnight.”

Natasha perplexedly took the phone, “I’m really calling. Don’t regret it!”

“What’s there to regret? Even if I don’t let you make the call now, you’ll secretly do it later! So, stop the nonsense and hurry up.” Leo urged, “I can also use this chance to make another deal with Fury.”

Hearing this, Natasha stopped hesitating and immediately dialed Fury’s number.
