Chapter 115 Berserk

The muscular men hastily raised the guns in their hands to counterfire. However, out of their astonishment, the guns in their hands were destroyed unknowingly. Even a single bullet couldn’t be fired.

Some of the unlucky ones whose guns were initially sabotaged by Leo’s Mechanical Force, had their barrel exploded!

Using this opening, Leo fired another volley of bullets, causing at least another dozen men to collapse on the ground. 

Nevertheless, these men weren’t cowards by any means. Those who were at the end of the crowd hurriedly went to other rooms in search of firearms. While those in the front charged at Leo with a pair of reddened eyes.

Brandishing the long AK-47 in their hands, they were prepared to use it as a club to fight with Leo in close quarters.

The Viper was built to be light and agile, there weren’t many spaces for Leo to store bullets. With just two volleys, all fifty bullets were exhausted. Fortunately, he still had the Mutated Spider Silk! 

Withdrawing his hot weapons, webs were ejected from his palms. The webs wrapped those muscular men who were charging forward. As more and more webs were released, it stacked more and more before sealing the entrance eventually…

The men who were still outside were stuck at the entrance. They were using either their gun barrel or a dagger to hack the web off bit by bit. Then, Leo used the webs to pull a marble table over and directly crashed it onto the sealed entrance.

Those who were outside certainly didn’t expect Leo would act like this. They were screaming in agony after being smashed by a large table. Furthermore, the white webs were speedily dyed red by the fresh blood. From the looks of it, it wasn’t a person or two who were smashed to death by Leo.

Leo suddenly had another idea. He began wrecking apart all sorts of objects in the room before throwing them onto the webs at the entrance. Then, he used even more webs to further reinforce it. In the end, the entire entrance was completely sealed off by Leo to the point the men’s agony screams were muffled.

Finally, one of the brighter men suddenly had an idea, “Hurry, look for a flamethrower. Use it to burn these threads.”

“You can give it a try. These webs are fire-resistant. Without ten minutes, there’s no way to burn it down!” Within the room, Leo scoffed at them before ignoring those who were outside the room.

This was Kingpin’s home field. Kingpin couldn’t have only two to three hundred minions waiting outside. At first, Kingpin believed dealing with him didn’t require that much personnel, so Kingpin didn’t gather more.

Except, right now Kingpin was at a disadvantage. As long as the minions outside the room were a bunch of brainless fools, they absolutely would call for reinforcement. When the webs were burned, the entire third floor might be filled with Kingpin’s minions.

Leo knew he couldn’t delay any longer. He must assist Bucky and finish it speedily. Once the battle was over, they would retreat instantly.

BANG!

A deafening noise boomed. Turning his head, Leo realized it was Bucky and Kingpin exchanging a heavy punch.

A trace of puzzlement flashed across his eyes. He wasn’t sure what was going on with Kingpin. It was as though Kingpin suddenly activated some kind of berserk skill. Kingpin’s strength was greater than before.

Currently, every inch of Kingpin’s muscles was building, and even the suit on him was ripped off. Calling him a mini version of The Hulk wasn’t wrong. But with Kingpin’s black skin, calling him a black gorilla should be more suitable.

After exchanging a punch, the berserk Kingpin only swayed for a bit before steadying his body while Bucky left a three meters trail on the floor.

What kind of monster is Kingpin?! His strength is far greater than a Super Soldier?!

With a single strike, Kingpin had the higher ground. His thick and burly legs swiftly approached Bucky’s side. Before Bucky could stabilize himself, Kingpin reached out his bushy right arm and gripped Bucky’s metal arm.

Bucky failed to anticipate that Kingpin still had a hidden card. With a single moment of carelessness, Kingpin grabbed his arm. Bucky tried to struggle but realized he was unable to escape Kingpin’s huge hand.

Smirking, Kingpin clenched his left fist and aimed it straight at Bucky’s brain. All of these occurred in an instant. The two of them were a distance away from Leo, he couldn’t arrive in time.

Seeing he couldn’t dodge, Bucky raised his right arm to block Kingpin’s fist. As expected, Bucky’s right arm was far inferior to his metal left arm. With a crack, his right arm was broken under the berserk Kingpin’s fist.

“Bucky! Hang on, I’m coming.”

As Bucky blocked this punch, Leo finally arrived before Kingpin. Leo knew with Kingpin full of muscles, his pain tolerance was off the charts. Therefore, Leo kicked right at Kingpin’s crotch.

Kingpin had long foreseen Leo’s arrival. Dodging sideways two steps, he easily avoided Leo’s attack. Nonetheless, the place Leo chose to attack gave Kingpin a chill.

Meanwhile, Bucky was still being grabbed by Kingpin. Leo’s attacking method gave Bucky a wake-up call as he began to aim his leg right at Kingpin’s crotch as well.

Realizing he couldn’t face head-on against the duo’s dirty strikes, Kingpin grabbed Bucky’s metal and viciously hurled Bucky out. It was uncountable how much wooden or stone furniture Bucky had destroyed before crashing into the wall, leaving a crater behind on it.

Pieces of wood and stone spread across the floor. Half of Bucky’s body was buried underneath them. Bucky, on the ground, failed to stand up even after struggling for a while. For a moment, he lost his combat capability.

In an instant, the situation had a turnabout.

Initially, Leo was prepared to work with Bucky to kill Kingpin. But with Kingpin’s sudden berserk, the situation was flipped over entirely. Kingpin’s current strength was monstrous. Leo’s strength even in the Viper wasn’t on par with Bucky, not to mention the current Kingpin.

It was unknown how long Kingpin’s berserk state would last, so Leo’s only choice right now was to utilize some dirty and agile methods to stale Kingpin first. A Super Soldier possessed a superior recovery speed. It was certain that after a while, Bucky would stand up again.

With this thought, Leo in the fully-powered Viper began thinking of ways to hinder Kingpin. Although Kingpin was fast, it definitely wasn’t in the same league as Leo under the armor’s buff.

Soon enough, Leo tangled with Kingpin. The term tangled here meant its literal meaning. Webs were shot out of Leo’s pam and tangled on Kingpin’s right fist. 

Kingpin ripped the webs off with his left hand, but Leo fired another shot of webs at his left hand. Fearing more and more webs tangled on his body, Kingpin directly grabbed the webs with both of his hands and yanked them. 

Leo’s strength wasn’t as huge as Bucky’s and incomparable to the current Kingpin. Under Kingpin’s yanking, Leo momentarily lost his balance to the point of almost tumbling over.

In the nick of time, something happened. Leo promptly cut off the webs on his hands and with the armor’s capability, a series of odd actions were performed instantly. Even the outer shell of the torso was compressed and slightly deformed.

As a result, Leo immediately balanced his body but the distance between him and Kingpin was reduced.

Due to Kingpin yanking at nothing, a sense of emptiness assailed him. It caused his balance to go off as his body was wobbling.

Aiming at this opportunity, Leo swiftly dashed at Kingpin.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Viper’s six tentacles bit at Kingpin’s four limbs and abdomen akin to a venomous snake.

Regardless of how robust Kingpin’s muscles were, they couldn’t resist the sharp tentacles.

Pff! Pff! Pff!

All of the six tentacles stabbed into Kingpin’s body and tightly gripped Kingpin without any intention of letting him go.
