Nonetheless, the number of men in the hall was too huge. Every single one of them was holding a handgun and their meaty face carried a fierce expression. The atmosphere was imposing. Compared to that man, it lacked some breathing space.

With Nordril leading in the front, Bucky indifferently walked in the middle while Leo walked at the last with the black sack.

Ordinary people’s shoulder width was usually at most 40 centimeters. Bucky and Leo might be slightly stronger, but the half-a-meter width was sufficient for them to pass through smoothly. From the looks of it, Kingpin intended to intimidate Leo only. He didn’t want his minions to have physical contact with Leo.

However, “Bullseye” which was horizontally carried by Leo wasn’t just half a meter wide…

Leo deliberately placed the black sack downwards to his hips and unreasonably dragged the black sack forward. Meanwhile, “Bullseye” within the black sack began to “struggle” frantically.

Moreover, due to the slow walk, whenever Leo passed by two muscular men, he had ample amount of time to activate his Mechanical Force and silently used its property of controlling metal to destroy or deform the weak components in the handgun.

Thinking about the moment they wanted to fire their gun, they finally would learn the meaning of surprise.

Just like that, everyone on the scene gazed at Leo with a mixture of anger and sadness as he headed to the staircase before disappearing into the second floor. The men on the first floor finally didn’t have to maintain their Boss Fisk’s image and gradually collapsed while letting out a suppressed moan.

Arriving at the second floor, the formation didn’t differ much from the first floor. It was still a group of muscular men standing beside the red carpet. It was just that the handgun was replaced with an assault rifle instead.

The nearby staircase was blocked off as the crowd extended to another staircase on the other side. Once again, Leo repeated the same trick and thus, the men on the second floor saw Leo off to the third floor with a complicated expression.

Arriving at the third floor, the formation finally had a difference.

It was still the same muscular men with AK-47s in their hands. But the difference was, the human wall didn’t extend to the staircase to the fourth floor, but to the entrance of a room called the “Conference Room”.

Besides, Leo realized the human wall on this floor wasn’t as neat as the one on the first and second floors. Even the red carpet on the floor had wrinkles on it as if it was laid down hastily.

Both Leo and Bucky raised their head and took a glance at the staircase to the fourth floor with a thoughtful look.

“Mr. Erwin, welcome to Mr. Fisk’s Rowing Club. Mr. Fisk is waiting for you in the conference room.” Nordril walked faster than Leo and Bucky. From a distance, he stood in front of the conference room and made a gesture of invitation.

Leo and Bucky glanced at each other before walking through the crowd of muscular men with the odd shouts as background music.

Entering the conference room, Leo was almost blinded by what he witnessed. A large piece of the lustering white stuff.

White! It’s too white!

The entire conference room was white. White walls, white floor, white furniture, and white cutleries. Under the white light’s illumination, everything was too dazzling.

After Leo’s eyes adapted, he finally had a clear view of the conference room’s interior. 

Which part of this was a conference room?! It should a restaurant instead!

In the middle of the conference room, Kingpin was in a set of white suits and sitting before a row of delicacies placed on the white table. Whirling a cup of wine, he was smiling widely at Leo. Besides his white teeth, Kingpin’s coal-colored skin and the light-reflecting skull were a stark contrast with everything in the room. An utter mismatch.

“Mr. Erwin, please have a seat!” Nordril pointed at the seat across from Kingpin before standing behind Kingpin with his head lowered like a servant.

Leo didn’t respond to Nordril and had no intention of sitting down too. Instead, it was Bucky who was following Leo. He retracted his scanning gaze and strode forward. Pulling the chair aside, he stared at Kingpin, “Where’re the two ladies?”

Kingpin grinned again and raised the wine cup in his hand, gesturing at Leo and Bucky before taking a sip from it. Just as he was preparing to use the wine to lubricate his throat and answered Bucky’s question…

Beep, beep…

Out of the blue, a beeping sound came out of Leo’s pocket. Without having a look, Leo knew it was the “Rescue Operation”’s success signal sent by the agility duo.

At this point, Peter and Matt finally brought Heather and Mary Jane to a safe place and remembered they needed to send a signal to Leo.

Simultaneously, rows of notifications appeared before Leo’s vision.

As the “Enhanced Body Balance” was rewarded, Leo suddenly felt his body was experiencing a strange feeling.

With a slight focus, he could accurately pinpoint the center of gravity of his body. Even the weight of the black sack he was carrying, he could accurately determine it. It was different from the previous general feelings.

This change was too sudden and it temporarily caused Leo to be unfamiliar with his body. However in the blink of an eye, under the system’s correction, this unfamiliar feeling vanished. It was as though Leo was born with this body balance.
