The Hunter Academy

The man who had appeared was Bjorn Hauldr, class B tutor. Atalanta knew that beneath the façade of an arrogant man was a cunning man.

"Hunter Duel"

Most of the class D students looked at Bjorn confused, they didn't know what was a Hunter Duel. The class B students also looked at their tutor with surprise but their reason was different, they were wondering why their tutor was going to waste time with rubbish like the class D students.

"What's a Hunter Duel?" Sahazel asked Fleur.

"I don´t know" Fleur shook her head.

It was normal for Fleur not to know about the Hunter Duels, some issues that occur within the academy are only known to upper class people.

"You surprise me" Sahazel gave Fleur a surprised look.

"Why?"

"I thought you were a walking encyclopedia" Sahazel shrugged.

Fleur was going to answer but was interrupted by Atalanta.

"Are you sure?" Atalanta frowned.

"Yes, since we don't know who started the conflict, then a Hunter Duel will be able to solve it."

"But..."

"I accept!"

Atalanta was going to complain but was interrupted by Ryan's determined voice. She looked with surprise at the student who used to almost pee while fighting a hare.

(Are they really the same person?)

"Do you know what a Hunter Duel is, boy?" Bjorn asked calmly, a look of contempt was well hidden in his eyes.

That look did not go unnoticed by three people: Atalanta, Setanta and Sahazel. Atalanta frowned but said nothing, she was used to such looks and wanted to use them to motivate her students to grow stronger.

"Yes, they are combats used to solve problems. There's a bet on them that goes to the winner of the duel," Ryan explained slowly.

"Correct but incomplete. There are different forms of combat and there are two types of duel: Duel of equals and Hunter Challenge" Atalanta complemented Ryan's explanation.

"What's the difference between them?" Setanta asked Atalanta.

"A duel of equals is a duel agreed by two parties, the two parties have to make a bet of similar value. This type of Hunter Duel is used to compete or to resolve conflicts"

"In a Hunter Challenge a challenger challenges another person to get something that person owns, the challenger has to offer something that doubles the value of what he wants to get to force the other person into a fight. This type of Hunter Duel is used when you want to get a special item that someone else has and needs"

"If a fifth grader wants an object that belongs to a newbie, can he force him to fight?"

"No, there's a rule that says you can only force opponents of your own level or above to fight."

All class D students understood after Atalanta's explanation.

"What kind of Duel of Equals do you want?" Atalanta asked Bjorn.

"Since my student has had a conflict with 3 of your students, why don't we do a 3vs3?" asked Bjorn.

Atalanta looked at Ryan and then looked at Setanta and Sahazel. She thought it was this Hunter Duel model that was more beneficial for them.

"All right, first they will fight in 1vs1 and then a team fight. In case of a tie in those 4 fights, an additional fight will be fought." Atalanta said.

Bjorn frowned at all Atalanta's requests.

"I don't think we need that many fights," Protested Bjorn.

"It wasn't a question." Atalanta threw all his pressure at Bjorn.

Bjorn gritted his teeth as drops of cold sweat ran down his back.

"It's okay" Bjorn nodded with difficulty. "Andy, Gothel and Shan Yu"

Andy, the boy who had initiated the conflict, took a step forward together with a girl and a boy.

"They are the three who are going to fight on behalf of class B" Bjorn smiled.

"Ryan, Sahazel and Setanta" Atalanta also called her three students.

The three class B students stood in front of the three class D boys.

Andy got in front of Ryan, Shan Yu got in front of Setanta and Gothel got in front of Sahazel.

All three revealed their levels and pressured Sahazel and co.

"Level 2 high class" shouted one of the class D students.

Atalanta's face darkened, she didn't expect Bjorn to use the best class B students against her class D students.

Ryan was shaking as he squeezed his hands and teeth so as not to kneel in the face of Andy's pressure. He was only Level 1 middle class and was holding out by sheer willpower.

Setanta looked at Shan Yu. Shan Yu was a Chinese boy with yellow eyes and sharp eyebrows, he wore his black hair tied in a ponytail that reached his waist. Unlike most upper-class members, he had a muscular body and fierce expression. Setanta's d.e.s.i.r.e to fight grew along with his smile.

Shan Yu was emitting pressure to Setanta. He expected this handsome boy to fall to his knees in front of him with his fierce appearance and the pressure of his level.

He frowned when he saw Setanta's smile grow larger and larger. He took the pressure it emitted to the limit and began to sweat cold when he saw Setanta's eyes change to orange, his instincts telling him to flee as soon as possible.

Sahazel stopped in front of Gothel and looked at her briefly. She was a beautiful girl with curly hair and a curvy figure. Sahazel saw the seductive smile on Gothel's face and quickly lost interest in her.

As Sahazel looked at Gothel, she was also looking at him. She saw the tall green-eyed boy and thought it would be nice to have him as a toyboy. Gothel sighed thinking that she had to follow the orders given by her tutor and applied her pressure as level 2 high class towards Sahazel.

Sahazel felt the pressure emitted by Gothel and looked at her curiously. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the pathetic attempt to show superiority.

"Uaaaaah, I'm sleepy" Sahazel yawned in front of everyone.

They all opened their mouths so big that a watermelon could fit inside them.

Fleur put her hand on her forehead thinking how stupid it was to worry about this two freaks.

Atalanta sighed with relief that class D was not going to be ashamed in front of the arrogant class B students, she smiled as she looked at Bjorn's distorted face.

"Ehem, let's talk about the bet" Bjorn tried to deflect the issue and alleviate the uncomfortable situation his class was in.

"One month of class B resources for class D, class D will give you all its resources for an entire quarter," Atalanta firmly said.

Bjorn wanted to get the year-round resources of Class D but changed his mind when he saw the flat look that Atalanta was looking at him with.

Bjorn gritted his teeth and nodded.

"The duel will be in 45 days," Atalanta added.

Bjorn knew he couldn't force anything on this issue even though he knew class D had the advantage with this issue because it was easier to level up when you're at level 1 than when you're at level 2.

"It's a deal" Bjorn extended his hand towards Atalanta.

"We are going" Atalanta did not follow Bjorn's formal gesture and turned around, leading her class back to the dormitories. Class D students followed her from behind.

Ryan turned and looked Andy in the eyes. Andy shook when he saw Ryan's determined eyes and a bad feeling reached his heart.

Bjorn was paralyzed at the site. When the class D and Atalanta students left, his quiet face changed to one of rage.

He stomped on the floor with force "Bitch, you'll see how I sink you and your class".
