The Heiress

It was a fine, sunny and warm Sunday afternoon wherein Hui Yin didn't need to come by the office.

Staring at herself in front of the mirror, she criticized the clothes she currently wore. It was a Mal Fiorè skinny jeans topped with a casual semi cut hoodie. Her hair was back to it's beautiful golden shade and her contacts were taken off.

After a while of turning left and right, she nodded to herself seemingly agreeing to the casual wear she wore and put on her Gulci rubber shoes. She had plans with Derek today, one which included mountain climbing as it was a part of his hobby

Taking out her sleek pastel pink Rolls Royce car, she drove to their meetup point which was also their first itinerary, the mall.

As a girl who loved clothes and shoes, Hui Yin was one of those women who'd splurge money just to get a pair of boots.Although to her, walking around in the mall was tiring and a waste of time, she'd still accompamy her close friends without hesitation.

By the time she arrived at a small coffee shop inside the mall, her eyes immediately found Derek who waved at the sight of her. He was wearing a worn out denim topped with a melange grey t shirt ans paired with black aviators and white sneakers.

"Hey, sorry if I'm late. Do you want to go now?"

"One: you are never late and two: sure! let's go start the fun!" Derek cheekily smiled showing his cute dimples and pearly white teeth "heads up sh*t head, you're the one paying for everything"

"I know, a**hole" she rebutted with a smile "you're driving"

...

"Oh wow! you totally look good in that dress! Come come pair it with these babies" Derek was ecstastic as he dumped all kinds of clothes and shoes for Hui Yin to wear, he never got tired of doing so since she looked good in almost everything "Dang girl, you habe such a great body!"

"I agree miss, it's suits you very well" a salesclerk that accompanied them compliemented, who wouldn't? It would boost up her sales if Hui Yin bought everything she wore

"Why did we end up doing this again?" Hui Yin asked as she returned the clothes she just wore

"Cuz no idiot would go mountain climbing on this stormy weather" an hour after they walked around the mall, shopping the necessities for their trip to the mountains, it suddenly rained so hard and it hadn't stopped eversince, which led to them cancelling the last minute. In the end, they have been going to and forth different outlets for clothes, bags, shoes

"at least pick clothes you'd like Derek, I'm paying for it anyway"

"of course I will! Do you think I'd let this golden opportunity slip from my hands? hehehe I'd be back" he replied while slipping away further into the store

Losing sight of him, she continued to browse through different shoes, picking which one she'd want or not while the salesclerk walked with her listing what she wanted to buy.

Suddenly, she felt someone bump onto her, making her slightly move a step backward.

"you! how dare you bump into me?!?" an ear-splitting voice filled the room, causing everyone in the store to look at them with eyes filled with curiousity and excitement for drama

When Hui Yin looked up to see who it was that bumped her, the only thing that filled her thought was 'Oh, it's her'
