The God's Throne

Chapter 26 - Wordly ore

Power, comprehension, and intelligence was a key factor deciding the supreme elder of the Zaphire academy, and Elder Fu, as the top of his generation naturally took this spot. However, it wasn't the great status he wanted that waited; it was desperation. Even as the strongest individual in Zaphire academy, he was a puppet of another individual: the founding ancestor of Zaphire kingdom.

Elder Zu glanced past the academy to see the wider world. Although his wrinkled eyes showed his interest and d.e.s.i.r.e for the outside, he didn't dare wander a few miles away from God's altar.

"Swish!"

As his eyes zoomed around his surrounding, an a.d.u.l.t size wormhole appeared before him. An individual with black eyes, black hair, and snowy face with a glint of gold walked with great elegance.

Seeing the arrogance on the figure's face, Elder Zu kneeled, while hanging his head low. With a soft cry, he said, "Congratulation Ancestor Zaphire. With a new divine body, you can reign over the world once again. You might not be feeling well right now. If you have any request for me, please ask"

Eria couldn't help but chuckle seeing the Elder's frustrated face. Looking at his expression, the shadow of obedience was clear for Eria to see.

Using his keen sense, Eria located a slave imprint inside the elder's head, which controlled the elder's entire life. After absorbing the buddha's soul, he had also acquired most of the buddha's knowledge and power. With this new power, Eria felt like he could control the elder's life. To experiment with the newfound ability, with an amused expression, Eria said," Bark!"

To his surprise, Elder Zu didn't even flinch for a second before barking. Eria's wide eyes looked like the full moon as his breath abruptly changed. With a dominant expression, Eria said, " That's enough. Its almost embarrassing man. Why don't you fetch me some standard crystals; I need them right now."

Elder Zu's expression nearly twisted, but he made sure it was well hidden. He got up with a warm smile, after which he asked, "How many would you like?"

"Ten thousand"

"Ten thousand! Are you okay?" Elder Zu's face finally hardened. Ten thousand standard crystals were more than enough to buy the entire of Soaring Dragon City.

"I was joking. Fetch me a hundred of them," Eria nearly sweated his pores out. He didn't expect standard crystals to be so expensive. In his God's dwelling, a random stone was better than a heavenly stone, so he didn't think million was a lot for an elder

He couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "Chill down Eria. You are the God at acting too. This is nothing."

"Hundred will do. But try to gather as much as you can," Eria spoke while crossing his arms, waiting for his crystals. Suddenly, a box appeared in front of him. It was full of translucent crystals and a bunch of golden pouches.

Elder Zu had a pained expression as he said, "This is all I could gather for now. There are some breaking limits pills. They are created by the top pharmaceutics alchemist and physician from the Zaphire empire."

Eria gladly stored the box into his space pearl. Nevertheless, Elder Zu, who was by his side wasn't surprised. A magical king had the power to create a space store so for an incarnation of a magical emperor to create one wasn't a wonder.

"Ok stay here for now. After I get back to the level of magical king, I will lift the slave imprint off you. Nonetheless, try to protect my life as I too weak right now, or else both of us die."

Elder Zu nodded his head like a chicken, clearly too scared to say anything. Eria couldn't help but crave to bully this fellow. However, he shook his head at the end, as he had more important things to do. Rather than wasting his time doing something amusing, he had rather get benefits. After having a few exchanges of words with the Elder, he gained a great deal of knowledge about the situation of the present world.

"Master. What do we do now?" Nul was standing outside with a dull expression. His golden eyes were filled with drowsiness, while his body was indolently standing next to a wooden pole.

Nul wanted to sleep but Eria wouldn't permit him. As Child of destiny, Eria had him trained every day, near a waterfall, where Nul would raise his awareness from torture.

"First, let's go back to the dorm. I need to see what benefits the buddha has provided me. After that, I will tell you where we are heading."

"Swish!"

Unexpectedly, while Eria and Nul walked along a narrow alleyway, a shadowy figure suddenly appeared behind his back. As he moved to cut Eria, Nul threw his sword, which thrust through the air and punctured through the shadowy figure's stomach.

With a barbaric expression, Nul moved to cut down the enemy. However, Eria stopped him before he could get close to the 'victim'.

"Argh. Stop. Stop. I am not your enemy," The figure stumbled towards the ground as he wrapped his arm around his stomach.

Eria held the figure's sword while grinning, "that's funny. You have been following me since Yu got out of my dorm, waiting for a chance to attack."

"How... I am a personal assistant to lady Yu. Forgive me, I was ordered to kill anyone who got too close to her in secret," A beauty appeared before the two. She had bleak black eyes, black hair, akin to a shinigami. She looked pitifully towards Eria while trying to keep the wound closed.

"Kill her!" Eria said with a funny expression. Nul grinned a bit before sending a fist towards the assassin.

"Wait. I will tell you the tru-" However before final words escaped her mouth, she exploded into pieces.

Eria moved his fingers through the air and captured a white string from the pieces of the body. Shoving it against his forehead, he absorbed the memories of the assassin.

Suddenly, Eria gazed towards the east, with slight guiltiness and longing. Proceeding towards the main gate he said, "Seems people are plotting against my sister; let's go visit her. She is probably missing me right now. Furthermore, it seems I need to get this so-called worldly ore."
