The God's Throne

Chapter 13 - Stealing People Academy

Smoky gas ran wild through the wind, like a gale as a figure was punching the void. As the frequency of punch increased, loud booming noise spread through the clearing, frightening the birds who were humming with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

Occasionally, a flash of lightning would spark from the figure's eyes. The fulmination grew stronger with each move, and when the figure pushed his aura to the peak and used his final attack, lightning spread through the meadow and shattered the boulders in the area.

Eria lightly sighed as he saw the destructive power of his self created technique. He had used mana to strengthen his body temporarily and created sparks of lightning by altering the current within his body. He amplified their lethal attack by using all of his opened acupuncture.

Five days had passed since the Holy kingdom's army invaded the village. Eria woke up four days after seeing the catastrophe. Although he still had the memory of the villagers' corpses, he longer was bubbling with rage, nor was he overwhelmed by sadness; currently, his emotions weren't as disoriented as before.

Furthermore, he felt like he was distant to the village when the village chief and the elders of the village appeared before him. They had a massive reaction as the army killed their family members. However, it didn't faze Eria emotionally. He felt like he was a spectator of the whole catastrophe. This although frightened Eria a bit, he felt it was natural to have such emotion.

He felt a bit emotionless as he gazed south, towards the Ginko tree, located at the Glaze village. He no longer felt nostalgic; it was as though the memories of growing up in the Glaze village was no longer part of his experience.

Suddenly, a figure came before him as he went through his memories. He shifted his eyes towards his sister and noticed her brightened eyes. They were glistening with liveness. It seemed as though she had gotten over the death of the villagers, which included her parents.

However, Eria also felt like she wasn't genuine. She was pretending to be happy to make sure that Eria wouldn't get worried. His sudden coma had frightened her a lot, so she no longer dared to mention anyone's death.

"Brother, the chief has called for you. He said that we might have to leave the village," While she was about to finish her sentence, she nearly choked from emotions. Leaving the village wasn't simple; it meant that they had abandoned their homeplace and maybe will never come back.

"Let's go," Eria grabbed her hand and softly kissed her on the forehead. Rin's face lightened up, and she gripped his hand tighter. As they ungripped both of their hands, they grinned and quickly walked down the mountain.

"Thanks brother, for being alive," Rin muttered under her breath as she peeked at Eria. In Rin's view, after the death of her relatives, Eria was her only family member. After having lost almost everything, she treasured the moment she was spending with him; to her, he was her mountain who was holding up the sky.

Walking through the open road, the two forget about time as they immersed themselves in their own imagination and chattered quite a bit. Without noticing, they had arrived at the bottom of the mountain causing the two to stumble. As they got up, laughter filled the air. It came from near the city gates. As their eyes pined with interest, they glanced over to see handsome horses; steady, armored knights and a beauty who seemed to have reached the peak of mortality.

Rin showed an excited expression as she glanced at the horses. They were one of the gorgeous creatures she had seen in her whole life. Eria, who was beside her, couldn't help but smile as he saw her complexion.

"You two peasants, come over here," A knight's said arrogantly. The knight was about twenty years old but had a waist more prominent than that of a bear, and arm as thick as a tree trunk. He had a silver armor which had a horse's symbol embedded at the back. He looked like someone who was made up of only muscles.

Seeing the arrogant face of the knight, Eria had a sudden urge to dig him to the ground. Eria could tell that the person before him was of high status, and he thought of Eria and Rin as country bumpkins.

"Brother, let's not cause trouble," Rin spoke out as she held his hand nervously," Elder and chief paid a considerable price to summon them here."

Eria closed his mouth, and helplessly nodded his head. With a slight glint of wickedness, he proceeded to walk towards the knight. He wanted to put him on his place for he had looked down upon Eria and ridiculed his sister.

The knight mockingly glanced at Eria and said, "Kid. From here on out, until we get to the Zaphire kingdom, you are going to follow us. If you break the rule, you die; if you offend us, you die; if you lev—"

"I get it. We need to keep quiet until you get us to the Zaphire kingdom. Since we paid money, we are your master, so how dare you say ou will kill us. Dumbass. You must have a muscle for a brain."

Eria couldn't handle the man's arrogance. He wanted to handle it without complaining, but the knight wouldn't shut up.

"You peasant. You dare talk back to this young master. Fire hammer blast."

The knight couldn't keep his cool. He exploded with the spiritual aura and pulled his sword from the scabbard at his waist. Blaze of fire gushed through the sword as it headed for Eria's head.

Eria was startled as he didn't know the guy would be provoked this easily. He felt the spiritual pressure oozing out of the man and realized it was similar to a peak elite knight, seemingly about to touch upon the realm of a standard knight.

"Speed dash!"

"First step - Lightning buzz."

Eria's body was suddenly surrounded by lighting. As Eria took a step forward, he disappeared from the spot and appeared behind the silver armored knight. However, to Eria's surprise, before he could attack, he sensed great danger.

He swiftly retreated back and stood on his defensive pose. But, as he regained his footing, and looked for the 'muscle head,' a kick suddenly appeared from the back and sent him flying. As Eria was in midair, he sensed a sharp aura enveloping him.

"Bolder cut."

A sharp sound resounded as a sword beam headed for his body. Eria twisted his body midair, and a ruthless glint flashed through his eyes as he tightly cleaned his hand. His inky eyes penetrated through the knight's soul as he forced the mana to course from all his opened acupuncture. He planned on using his new self created technique to eliminate the knight.

"Friendly lightning!"

Although the name sounded crude and dull to a normal person, it's power was more than remarkable. Red lightning flashed through Eria's eyes and soon coated his entire body. Swiftly rotating his fist towards the sword beam, Eria unleashed the power of a thunder beast.

"WTF" The knights surrounding the fight felt a deadly pressure around them. All of the retreated apart from the beauty who stood at the area of battle unfazed.

"Boom"

Heaven shaking bight rang out as the battle between the two technique settled. However, the outcome wasn't what the knights had expected. A figure stood between the two competitors. It was an old man in his forties. He had deep wrinkles around his eyes and an honest smile which smoothened hearts. He stopped both of the attacks with nothing but his b.a.r.e hands.

Seeing the figure, Rin cried out," Chief, please save my brother. "

Turning his head, the village chief emotionless glanced at Rin. Nevertheless, he nodded his head towards her and faced the silver knight.

The village chief ruthlessly stared at the silver armored knight and said, " Do the people from Stealing people sect think they are overlord or something."

"Old m—"

"Smack"

Before the knight could speak, a smack reverberated throughout the village. The village chief had slapped the knight hundreds of meters into the forest. This terrified not only the knights but also Eria.
