(Two Hours Later At Tommy Xan's Estate)

Angela and Tommy sat on a couch with only the pale glow of the tv illuminating their faces. The table was littered with wrappers and crumbs. While the couch was covered in popcorn.

Tommy had his feet propped up on the table and a bowl of popcorn in his l.a.p. He shoveled handfuls of popcorn into his mouth but most of it ended up either on the couch or on him.

He asked with his mouthful, " You gotta admit, Ange dish washn't sho bad. Now wash it?" (this wasn't so bad. Now was it)

Tommy waited for a reply as he munched on his popcorn. "Hmm, she really is too proud. *Hmph* Can never admit when she's wrong." He said to himself.

He waited in silence for another minute before saying, " Hey come on. You really can't let go of your pride for one second? You really should-, " he was interrupted by Angela.

"*Snore snore*" Angela snored loudly and leaned onto Tommy's arm with saliva pouring out of her mouth onto his shirt.

Tommy's eyes widened a bit and he stared silently at Angela's angelic sleeping expression. After a while he chuckled. "*Hahaha* This my perfect chance."

He reached his hand out and harshly pinched Angela's delicate and small chin.

"*Mmmm*" Angela m.o.a.n.e.d lightly and furrowed her brows as Tommy jerked her chin upwards. Tommy smiled at her reaction and leaned in close to her ear.

"You shouldn't have fallen asleep. You were asking for this." He whispered. He then let go, Angela's chin and shoved her away. Making her fall onto her side on the couch.

Angela didn't even stir at this. She just smacked her lips and continued to snore loudly. Soaking the couch with her saliva.

Tommy smiled turned his attention back to the movie. "*Hmph* Now that you're asleep I'm gonna watch this movie till the end. And when you wake up I'm gonna pile on spoiler after spoiler. *Haha* I'm so evil, I scare myself."

Tommy kept a smile on his face as he continued to shovel popcorn into his mouth. As he did Angela started to mumble in her sleep, " *Mmm* J-. Don't cry. J-, it's okay."

Tommy's ears perked up and he quickly swallowed down the popcorn in his throat. "*Cough Ack*" He choked on the popcorn and slammed his fist onto his c.h.e.s.t, his eyes watering.

He harshly swallowed down the popcorn stuck in his throat and sat the bowl filled with his 'attackers' down on the table. He cleared his throat and leaned in closer to make sense of what Angela was saying.

As he got closer he could slowly make out what Angela's mumbling.

"Jade it's okay. It's okay Jade don't cry. I'm here. Jade." Angela mumbled continuously in her sleep. Tommy's lips instantly grew into a larger smile.

He got up from the couch and squatted down in front of Angela's face. He then whispered, " Angela, Angela. Who's Jade?"

"*Mmm* Dunno, can't remember." Angela mumbled unconsciously.

Tommy arched a brow and whispered a question, " Is Jade a friend?"

"No, more than that." She mumbled again.

"Is she the one who helped us at the hospital?" Tommy whispered.

"No. That was Zoey." Angela replied unconsciously.

"Ok. Who is Zoey?" Tommy immediately asked, not even whispering anymore.

"*Mmmm* She's... she's... she *snore*." Angela trailed off and went back to snoring peacefully.

"Ange? Ange?" Tommy prodded Angela to come back by calling her name. When she still didn't stir Tommy clicked his tongue. Partly in annoyance and partly in frustration. He got from his squatting position and in a huff plopped back onto the couch with his arms crossed.

What was he supposed to do with just the name Zoey? He could try and look at hospital records but Angela would find out as soon as he did. Tommy shuddered at what Angela might do to protect her friend.

Tommy leaned his head back and sighed, " *Sigh* I guess I'll have to wait until Angela tells me who she is... Oh, hold on a sec, if Zoey is the one who saved us? Then who the hell is Jade?"

As Tommy mulled over what Angela said, *BZZT BZZT BZZT BZZT*, his phone began to buzz in his pocket.

He pulled out the phone and looked at the contact. He hurriedly accepted it and in a cheery voice, he said.

#Tommy: Auntie Grace! It's so good to hear from you!#

The person on the other line was Grace Wu Angela's mother. Because of their close family-like relationship, Tommy often referred to her as Auntie Grace.

#Grace: Oh yes, I've been meaning to call but I've been so busy lately. I know it's late but I hope I didn't disturb you.#

#Tommy: Not at all Auntie I always love talking to you and I was wide awake anyways.#

#Grace: Oh you're so sweet but staying up late isn't good for your health.#

#Tommy: Yes, yes, I know I promise I'll take care of myself better.#

#Grace: Good. Oh, and there is another reason why I called. I can't seem to find Angela, she hasn't returned home. I remember sending her to your house to check on you.#

#Tommy: Oh, yes Auntie she's here. She's fast asleep so please don't be too mad at her. I'm the one who asked her to stay after all.#

#Grace: *Gasp* You asked Angela to stay over?!! And you're sleeping together?!! Oh, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! See I told you that guys would make a perfect match! *Gasp* I have to call your mother! We should start planning the wedding!#

Tommy quickly spoke up before she did anything hasty.

#Tommy: No, no, no, no! Auntie, you misunderstood. We're just watching a movie.#

#Grace: Oh! So, you're still just casually, dating. I understand! But I still want you to make an honest woman out of her.#

#Tommy: Auntie we're not dating either. I just missed the old days, when we watched movies all night while eating junk food. So I asked Angie to join me for a movie night and she agreed.#

#Grace: *Sigh* Fine, fine, I understand. *Sigh* You guys are so difficult. Well, if you don't want to we won't force you. Anyways, could you get Angela to call me when she wakes up? Also, a colleague of hers says he has critical information about a patient of hers. So tell her to check her phone as well.#

#Tommy: Yes, Auntie, I promise.#

#Grace: Good. Get some sleep and tell Angela I love her. Auntie loves you too. Bye Bye, kisses.# Beep-

Tommy took the phone away from his ear and put it back into his pocket. He stretched his arms above his head, stood up and walked over to Angela. He then raised his hand up high and brought it down as a hard chop onto Angela's head.

"Hey, tsundere wake up." He demanded.

After a moment of silence, an aura of utter malice exuded from every pore of Angela's body. Slowly Angela had raised herself up to a sitting position. Her hair hung in front of her face with her eyes peeking through.

Her light green eyes had somehow become much darker. She glared at Tommy and growled, " Tommy Xan. If you wanted to die so badly I would've suggested having a broom shoved up your a.s.s and into your colon."

Tommy nonchalantly scratched his head and yawned, " *Yawn* Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, your mom called and said to call her and to tell you to check your messages cause a doctor pal of yours has news on a patient. Mmmm, I think that's it, oh and she says she loves you."

Angela, whose ears perked up at the mention of a colleague trying to contact her, immediately forgot about her anger and started searching for her phone.

After a few minutes, she finally found her phone on the floor where she first dropped it. She quickly picked it up and immediately called her colleague.

#Colleague: *Yawn* Hello?#

#Angela: Yes it's Angela I heard you had some important information about a patient.#

#Colleague: *Sniff* Oh, Miss Wu *Ahem* uh yes, a couple of medical tests that arrived late revealed that patient who had recently been checked out had some underlying medical conditions that are quite fatal.#

#Angela: Who is the patient in question?#

#Colleague: Uh, I believe her name was... *Ah* I believe it was Zoey Chang.#

Angela's heart dropped and she unconsciously gripped the phone tighter in her hand. She felt her breath become unstable and she asked

#Angela: Wha-what's wrong with her?#

Meanwhile, Tommy stood there with his concern growing as Angela suddenly changed from a ferocious and proud lion. To a scared and timid little cub.

And his heartbeat grew painful as Angela's expression became more twisted by shock and fear. Once Angela had gotten off the phone he wanted to rush to comfort her.

But as soon as Angela got off the phone she quickly started gathering her stuff not even listening to Tommy's attempts to talk to her and left. Tommy tried to follow her but once she was out the door a chauffeur had arrived in a large silver truck.

Not even caring about the car she drove there Angela hopped into the truck that quickly sped off. Leaving Tommy standing on the cold pavement in the front of his house. Absolutely stunned at her change behavior and hasty exit.

So much so that he could only mutter, " You forgot your car keys."
