That night, Wei Yi Yi experienced the hellish torture of the medicine exclusively made from the ancient times.

Before she can even cast her curios gaze towards the new guest, Wei Yi Yi whole body shouldered in his presence. Her breathe shorten and she gasped for air as her heart wildly knocked against her c.h.e.s.t. Throwing caution to the wind, she let her instinct take over. This moment of freedom allowed her body to perform the movements it was most familiar with.

Wei Yi Yi struggled to get up to acknowledge the person in front and rigidly perform an appropriate greeting.

As if the bloods on her face are being drain, Jiang Yu witnessed his empress pales. When she struggled to get up to perform a curtsey he extends a hand to stop her.

"Forgo the courtesy," he said.

When the man reached a hand so close to her, suddenly, in her mind, that man's touch is the very manifestation of fire itself. One graze with her skin and she'll burn to ashes. Wei Yi Yi heard a snapping sound deep inside her head. The mental image become overwhelming for her, her body lost all control.

Like some madman, she shriek so loud the whole palace jolted. She struggled and scrambled just to get away from that touch.

Wei Yi Yi broke in cold sweats and stumble down back to the bed. Seeing that man, a face suddenly so familiar yet so foreign to her at the same time, her emotion was set into a roller coaster. She can't stop her body's reaction it and it bloody hurt.

"No more… No more..." Wei Yi Yi cried out, her hands trembling nonstop.

An incredible heartache assaulted her, squeezing her heart tightly. The endless cries that she couldn't stop turned her nerves numb and finally, her sobs turned into panic breathing.

Seeing the empress having such a big reaction scared all maid and eunuch, weak on their knee, they all kneeled down and did their best to merge as one with the background. They dare not look up and see the emperor's darkening face.

Wei Yi Yi greedily inhaled. She chocked by her own tears and breathing become even more difficult. No matter how much she talked herself into calming down, it was of no use. The emperor stood in his original position--- Jiang Yu clenched and unclenched the hand that he extended just now.

After a while, as if he couldn't look anymore, he sighed and shouted, "Call for the imperial doctor!" then, with a flick of his sleeves, he left impatiently.

Everyone remained kneeling while Tang Mei immediately run and called out for a doctor.

'What the fudge, don't leave a panicking patient ok?!'

With a hand clutching on her lapels, Wei Yi Yi lamented her new life.
