"I have the results of Samuel's paternity test."

Samantha was astonished. She remembered that Alex asked her if she wants to know who the father of Samuel is, but she never recalled anything about her saying this to Zeus. She asked: "Where did you get the results?"

Zeus said straightforwardly: "A little bit of hacking."

Samantha nodded and said: "Can I see it?"

Zeus said: "I already sent it to your email."

Samantha said: "Okay, I will hang up now."

Samantha hung up and checked her email. There was a message from Zeus, and there was an attachment. Samantha tapped the results and saw a doc.u.ment.

Samantha read it out loud since no one is near.

"The results of the test is 99.99 percent positive."

Samantha was stupefied. She now knew that there is a positive match with Samuel's DNA, but now, she doesn't know who the father is. Samantha frantically called Zeus.

Zeus answered immediately and asked: "Yes?"

Samantha hurriedly asked: "Who is the owner of the other DNA?"

Zeus said mysteriously: "Secret."

Samantha was angry. She said: "Tell me now."

Zeus said: "All right. The father of Samuel is none other than Mr. Walton."

Samantha froze like a statue when she heard Zeus. Zeus thought that there is no one on the other end and said: "Hello?"

Samantha just said: "Oh."

Zeus said: "Are you that shock?"

Samantha asked again: "Alex is Samuel's father?"

Zeus said with a positive tone: "Yes."

'Alex is Samuel's father?'

'Wait, I did it with Alex?!?! How? When?'

Samantha unconsciously hung up the call with Zeus. She only froze and tried to process this new information. With this further information, new questions rang in her head.

'Is Alex and his parents only nice to me because of Samuel?'

'How do I tell this to Alex?'

Samantha became nervous because she likes Alex, but she wondered if Alex is only this possessive of her because Samuel is in the picture and if Samuel is out of the picture, will Alex leave her for another woman?

Samantha protected her heart after getting rejected by Eric and slowly, her ice-cold heart melted with each passing day she was with Alex. Samantha became more and more afraid that Alex would leave her.

Samantha calmed herself down and got out of the bed and headed downstairs. She saw only the butler and the main with no other people, but Samantha heard some shouting from Samuel's room.

Samantha headed towards Samuel's room and opened the door. She saw Alex and Samuel playing with each other. The look on their faces says that they are both having a good time.

Alex felt the door open and saw Samantha looking at him with a nervous expression. He stood up and went towards Samantha. Samantha's heartbeat became faster and faster when she saw Alex went towards her.

Alex asked: "What's wrong?"

Samantha braced herself and said: "Can you go with me for a minute?"

Alex nodded, and Samantha got out towards the dining hall. Samantha sat on one of the chairs, and Alex sat beside her. He said: "WHat's bothering you?"

Samantha breathed in and out and said: "I know the results of Samuel's paternity test."

Alex's back became full of sweat when he heard her. This was the only time in his life that he had been so nervous about hearing the answer of another person.

Samantha continued: "I know that you are the father of Samuel."

Alex clenched his fists and hoped that Samantha would not hide from him. Samantha asked: "I want to know, are you only treating me like this because I am Samuel's mother?"

Alex was stupefied with her question. He thought that once she knew that he is Samuel's father, she would hide from him as fast as possible, but it was the contrary. Alex was so excited that he pulled Samantha towards him and kissed her deeply.
