Samantha was risking. She didn't want to have any regrets, but what Eric said broke her hearts into tiny million pieces.

"But Samantha, you know I treat like my younger sister, and you know that I will go abroad next week to go and study," Eric said to her.

Samantha reasoned: "I can accept a long-distance relationship. We always video chat or call each other."

"But that's not enough. Maybe you'll find someone better than me, or I will find someone who I like." Eric said, and Samantha's heart broke into a tiny million pieces. She ran towards the exit of the hospital and headed out.

She ran towards her home and shut the door. She ran to her room and jumped on the bed before bawling. She called Irene, who rushed over to comfort her. Eric never called her phone, and years passed by, and It was only through perseverance that Samantha could forget Eric and have a crush on Alex.

Alex saw Samantha froze, and his eyes flashed with worry. She saw Samantha crying, so he finally asked: "Are you okay?"

Samantha snapped out from her reverie, and she wiped her tears away before she wiped her tears and chirped, hiding her emotions: "I'm fine."

"You can talk to me, you know." Alex reminded her. Samantha shook her head and said persistently: "I'm fine."

Alex did not believe her but did not probe any further, and he stared at his laptop again and started working. Samantha was grateful that Alex did not force her to give some information. They sat peacefully, and Samantha was bored, so she asked Alex: "Umm, how did I get here?"

"I carried you here." Alex calmly said while still typing at the laptop. Alex made it sound typical, but Samantha was shocked.

'Alex carried me to the plane?!?'

"Umm, where are we going?" she asked again.

"You'll know when we get there." Alex acted mysteriously. Samantha guessed where. There was a screen in the middle of the airplane that's saying when they will land. There were about seven more hours before they fall.

Since she was here on a date with Alex, she wants to act normally, and maybe, if Alex sees her flaws, he will get uninterested. She went to the bedroom and laid down the bed. Her phone already connected to the wifi without her knowing.

'Alex must've hacked my phone and now knew my password.' The passcode was Alex's birthday, so she felt embarrassed.

She blocked her father's number and the mother-daughter duo's number so she won't receive any of them.

She got one text from Irene saying:

[Did you do it last night?]

She blushed when she read the question. She typed: [No.]

[Is he gay like the rumours say?] Irene texted immediately.

[I don't know. Alex treats me very well.]

[Tell me the deets!!] Irene texted her.

[Well, we went to the restaurant that has a large screen like the cinema. We were the only one there.]

[OOOOMMMGGG!!!] then Irene never texted again.

Samantha checked through her emails and social media page again. There were some bashers to her posts like [Using filter] or [You're a wh*re.]

Her fans quickly defended her. Samantha saw that the one leading the bashers was Jessica, her stepsister. He was about to retort when she got a message from a familiar number, and she froze.
