The Daring CEO's Innocent Wife

Chapter 11 - Going to a date??

Alex checks his phone for what movie to watch. He wanted to surprise Samantha. The romance was never his forte, so he was feeling nervous deep inside.

He went to the house and pressed a button on his phone, and the door automatically opened.

He parked his Bugatti Veyron and exited the car, he opened the door and saw his butler and maid waiting for him. They probably knew he was here when the door opened. He looked around and did not see Samantha anywhere.

He was just about to go to the master bedroom to look for Samantha when the maid's sweet voice rang from behind him: "Master, are you looking for, miss?"

Alex corrected her: "It's Madam, and yes. Why?"

The maid explained: "Well, you see."

...

Five minutes after Alex left.

Riiinngg!!

Samantha was still on the dining table when her phone rang. She checked who the caller is. Her eyes brightened, and she quickly answered the call: "Hello?"

"Besty, I need your help." A girl's weak voice sounded.

"Are you okay, Irene?" Samantha asked when she heard the woman's weak voice.

"I'm okay. I need help with another thing." Irene's pleading voice sounded.

"Sure, what is it?" Samantha was worried about Irene. Irene was her best friend since kindergarten. Irene's family was more prosperous than Samantha's family, but she never let it get to her head. Irene owns her apartment, and Samantha sleeps there sometime.

"I promised my mother that I would attend her charity fundraising. The auction is also a way for me to go on a blind date. People will bid for one date for the girl present, but I got the flu, and I asked my mom if someone could replace me, and she agreed, so I thought of you." Irene explained to her.

Samantha asked her: "After this, can I sleep there until I find a stable job and an apartment to live in because my family chased me out."

Irene readily agreed: "Sure, but where are you now?"

Samantha blushed: "I'll tell you later when I go there." then she hung up.

Samantha went to the main bedroom to get her bag, and she saw that she did not bring any makeup with her. She thought of a solution, and one solution came in mind. She approached the maid who was cleaning in the kitchen and asked: "Can I borrow a dress and makeup?"

The maid readily agreed. She led Samantha to her bedroom and grabbed a makeup case. She then opened the wardrobe, and colorful dresses greeted Samantha. Samantha was in shock.

Even his maid was living like a princess.

Samantha got near the wardrobe, and she checked every dress. Every dress was original. There were all kinds of dresses. Conservative and revealing. Samantha remembered that this is an auction for charity, so she needed to get money with her looks. She picked a red dress matching her eyes that reveals her upper back.

The dress is of cotton, so when she put it on, it felt comfortable. The suit was above the knee and featured her soft legs. Although Samantha was treated horribly by her parents, she never forgot to take care of herself.

Then she made her makeup with a light blush. The maid saw her transform and her aura before was like a pretty sunflower, and now, her character was like poison ivy, dangerous.

She casually asked Samantha where she is going to start a conversation: "Miss, where are you going tonight?"

Samantha winked at her and said: "I'm going on a date. Thank you for letting me borrow this. I will give it back to you tomorrow."

The maid said: "All of this is not mine. It is for the guests in the house. Alex gives it to them as a gift whenever they wear it, and it never goes back in the wardrobe."

Samantha was shocked when she heard that, Alex gives free dresses to female guests. That's how the land of super-rich guys rule.

Samantha booked a cab and left.

...

She's going on a date??

Then immediately, the atmosphere became cold, and the butler and maid shuddered in fear. They saw Alex's angry face, and he stormed off the house.
