The Commoner Consort: The Country's Respected Empress

Xavier is in his own regrets thinking about the people of his country. But he can't do anything about this. They are meant to happen in every country.

He was so lost in thoughts and thought he was going aimlessly.

When he realized he finds Charles is in his way to the Countryside Village.

Xavier smiles "You know your brother well Charles!".

He thinks about Maya and smiles.

'I hope I lead a happy life with you My Lady. I don't want to marry any Princess and disappoint her. What if she expects me to become the next king? I wish you would like to be a commoner...'

The Countryside Pavilion.

Maya didn't dare to let the doctors check her injuries. She just sent them away by saying that she was just tired. But her blood is boiling in rage.

'They took a life! Just a mere doubt took an innocent life and made two kids orphan in a single day! This place is far dangerous than I thought! Now what am I doing here? Enjoying the luxury? Waiting for The Emperor's useless permission now?! Justice delayed is justice denied! '.

She looks at her hand and thinks 'Should I check it? What if it really healed? I should check it before anyone comes-'.

"The General has arrived and requests Queen's approval to deliver a message!".

Maya grits her teeth in rage 'I will see what the message says!' and stands. Before she could walk Celina enters into the room "Ma'am? Should I bring The General- Ma'am! You must not get down from your bed!-".

Maya speaks sternly "Let him enter! I want to hear what the message says!".

Celina nods and goes out.

"Long live Her Highness! I-".

As soon as Robin entered the sickroom, he bowed to greet Maya but she impatiently speaks "Hand the message and leave!".

Robin gets startled hearing Maya's angry voice. But he obeys her every words and leaves after handing the message to Celina.

Celina opens the message after Maya's stern stare. She gets sad and scared for Maya's reaction.

Maya is filled with rage and hisses mockingly "Did it agree to my requests?".

Celina nods repeatedly "Yes Ma'am! The Emperor has given his consent -".

Maya chuckles coldly "Consent? He has given the permission now?! After an innocent's death?! Do me a favour and write him back requesting a wish! Ask him to revive her soul back and make her alive!".

Celina blinks worried and gulps 'Why would I come here? If not for Sarah's order...I wouldn't have faced The Queen in rage! She is very scary!!'

Maya walks in front of Celina and snatches the message from her hands. She opens it and asks "Does it say anything else?!".

Celina frowns pouting "Ma'am? Can't you read?".

'Really?!'

Maya looks at her sternly "Did.it say.something.else?".

Celina nods swallowing hard and grabs the message written cloth from Maya's hand.

"Emperor permitted to release the woman and even allowed Mam to stay here for 3 days. On the fourth day, Mam should pay a visit to The Royal Palace. Emperor wants to see himself whether you are fine".

Celina looks at Maya in thoughts and holds her hand "Ma'am?".

Maya tilts her head "Can you do something for me?".

Celina nods but frowns "What is it Ma'am?".

Maya shakes her head and smiles at Celina meaningfully "I will tell you soon. Now do not disturb me until morning-".

Celina blurts hurriedly "But Ma'am..You haven't eaten anything since you came!".

Maya stops chasing her away and speaks "Alright leave me the food. I need to rest well".

Celina nods and leaves some food for Maya.

After Celina left the room, Maya locks the door of the chamber hurriedly and sits down.

"I have to escape as soon as possible... This place is becoming dangerous...".

She paces inside the room and thinks about everything.

She looks outside when it was midnight and sighs "I would rather sleep in streets!".

She walks towards a window and leaps outside. The sickrooms weren't high in altitude like her room. She also finds the secret way that Celina has taken her today and sneaks out of the Pavilion skilfully.

Xavier's regretting now. He didn't even heard the important news from his servant before leaving the Palace. He regrets being irresponsible over his emotions but decides to know everything once he reaches in the morning after teaching Maya.

'I don't think she will become greedy even after married into Royal. However, she doesn't like the Royalty anyway. It's more than enough if she just respects and loves my family'.

Xavier looks around the surroundings and realizes it's too early but he doesn't want to spend his night in The Royal Palace too.

He doesn't want to argue with his mother again. She will again start to persuade him to forgive The Emperor which Xavier could never do.

'Even though he issued justice after two days...The justice delayed is the justice denied. .'.

He couldn't even try as he couldn't ever digest the fact that his father suspected his own son.

'I couldn't stand his ugly thought! How can he even think that I could harm Xander?!'.

He doesn't know whether he could forgive his father in future. But he knows one thing.

'I won't stand in my brother's way. Instead I would stand by his side no matter what!'.

Xavier realizes that he is reaching the village and takes his fake beard and some other things to disguise himself.

'If anyone finds about me with her, My Lady's safety would be at risk. I can't protect her when I still have some errands to finish. Well..I wonder what would be her name?! I don't know her name yet! Everytime she appears before me, she makes my mind blown away. I wonder who gave her the place to stay? Is she safe and good there?'.

Oh My! They even share the same thoughts ..even when they are miles apart! Both doesn't want to live the Royal life!
