Ever since that day, Kalki had the scar so the mysterious memory. He had no idea why it ended up happening to him.

He never ever saw a lion like that after that day. It has been more than 9 years. He couldn't forget that mysterious lion and its red eyes.

Xavier had been asking the whole day about his sudden change in behaviour. But Kalki didn't tell Xavier anything. Deep down in his heart he felt.... It has to be a secret. A secret he never wanted to share with .

Any young boy would have told to his parents about everything. But Kalki didn't. Because he felt that incident was meant to happen only for him! For some weird reasons, he doesn't want to even share anything about the lion.

He felt like it was his exclusive puzzle. His puzzle to solve. He has been so ambitious and stubborn to do things the way he wanted.

He wanted to deal with his mysterious world by himself. From that day, he believed that Mystical Powers exist. Something or some power above everyone exists. But he doesn't name it as God like what his father and brother. They are strong believers of God!.

Kalki looks before him. The campfire had gone off before he finished his thought trains.

He c.a.r.e.s.ses his c.h.e.s.t and feels the scar's outline over his skin. His eyes darkens sensing something.

Kalki dodges the arrows which were aimed behind him.

"Always being aware of the threats Your Highness?!".

Kalki smirks at a person before him "Threat in the form of a betrayer".

Countryside Pavilion.

Sarah walks towards Maya's room with a pair of new clothes. As Maya's whole chamber burned. There were no things left of Maya's.

Sarah opens the door and keeps the dress on a table. She turns smiling but her smile falls seeing the empty bed.

Sarah looks around the room and finds Maya standing near a window. She was looking at something seriously outside.

Sarah smiles "Greeting Madam...Madam is awake?".

Maya hears her but remains nonchalantly.

Sarah senses Maya's seriousness and tries to have a conversation "Mam. I am glad that you are awake. Please allow me to make you ready-".

"Why am I alive?"

Sarah gets startled hearing Maya's words. She even shivered at Maya's calmness.

Sarah stutters "M-Mam..".

'What's mean by why is she alive?!'.

Maya is still looking outside the window and wonders "Why wasn't I killed yet?".

'I should have been killed by now if Stephen wanted me dead. He dared enough to threaten me even after knowing that I was the Queen whom they were searching for. He was powerful among this bunch of soldiers. It would be absurd if I think there were no one helping him in this conspiracy against me'.

Sarah gasps and stares at Maya. The sweet, smiling Madam she had seen before a day had vanished completely. She didn't recognize this Maya anymore.

Sarah bows "Answering Mam. This servant deserves to be punished. This servant should have reached earlier. I beg for Mam's forgiveness!".

THUD!!

Maya frowns hearing the sound and sulks seeing Sarah kneeling before her "Don't you have some inkling of self respect Sarah?! What have you done even to kneel before me?! You Know it wasn't your sole fault!".

Sarah gets scared hearing Maya's dissatisfied voice and answers "Answering to Mam-".

Maya sighs loudly and scoffs "Let it be. You can't be changed in this lifetime".

Sarah gets silent without knowing what to do. But she guessed what made Maya angry. She stands hurriedly and asks timidly "Is Mam's health fine? I will ask The doctor to check -".

Maya approaches Sarah with a serious face. She speaks "Listen Sarah! I have to no idea to entertain anyone here. Help me to go out from this country".

Sarah opens her eyes wide in shock.

"WHAT?!".

But a scream interrupted both.

Celina looked very disappointed.

Sarah asks sternly "Were you eavesdropping our conversation?! Celina! Are you even aware of the punishment for this?!".

Celina stutters "I-I wasn't!-"

Sarah grits her teeth "Can't you stop bothering me with your imm.a.t.u.r.e behaviour?!".

Celina is about to speak but Maya interrupts "Can you girls allow me to speak?".

Sarah whispers holding Maya's hand "Mam?! What happened suddenly?! Did Stephen threatened you? If so please don't be feared, be rest assured! Emperor sent his personal guards to escort you to the Royal Palace-".

Maya frowns "Emperor?".

Celina answers "Mam! There were about 100 soldiers waiting outside to escort you safely! It's because both the Princes are not in the country. Our Emperor wants Mam to be safe and sound".

Maya stares at both of the girls and lost in her thoughts.

'If I couldn't leave from this abandoned place easily, then it would become impossible to leave that Palace once they take me there! If I really want to escape from here, I have to do it fast! I don't even know the way to leave from this place!'.

Sarah nods agreeing Celina's words and assures "Mam? Are you feeling hungry? This servant will arrange something to eat!".

Celina turns to go outside "I will inform the whole Pavilion that Our Queen has woken-".

Maya declares "No!".

Sarah is about to nod, frowns hearing Maya. She speaks "Mam. This is the procedure of Royal Palace. We have to inform everything about Our Queen's health in-".

Maya speaks sternly "I am no Queen Sarah! You know everything about this relation!".

Sarah gulps and looks at Celina. She gestures to leave the room.

But Celina shakes her head and looks at her begging.

Maya asks "If you two are finished with your expression battle, help me to know something first. Where are the woman and the children?".

Sarah gets scared and looks down suddenly.

While Celina looks at both shocked. She blurts "Wasn't she one of the conspirators ?!".

Maya asks sternly "Where is she now?". She had already guessed that they misunderstood. She even predicted how her condition would be now. If their own servants were punished upto this end, then the woman should be cursing her for her condition now.

Maya wishes that she could save before she dies at least!.
